‘MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged’ airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Lil Wayne Photo: Frank Micelotta/MTV/PictureGroup During his MTV2 “Unplugged” special, Lil Wayne aims to give fans his all, so don’t expect him to share the stage with any guests. “If you ever go to a Lil Wayne show, you’ll see he, as in I, don’t bring nobody onstage unless they are Young Money,” Weezy told MTV News’ Sway Calloway after the taping of “MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged,” which will air on MTV2, MTV and MTV.com on Sunday. “If they are not Young Money and they are just an artist that I’ve done a song with and they’re in the town that night and they ask, ‘Can I come out?’ Say, ‘Yeah,’ ” he said. “But if you go to a Lil Wayne show and you’re a real Lil Wayne fan, you’ll know: He’s up there from start to finish by his self.” Part of Weezy’s hesitation to bring others onstage dates back to his early days as one-fourth of the Hot Boys with Juvenile, B.G. and Turk. “Ain’t have nobody screamin’ over the mic with me. I just never been about that because I was always in a group with three other guys when I was comin’ up,” Tunechi said. For all of the reasons he gives, in the end, Wayne is just a little bit selfish, and after releasing eight solo albums, nine official mixtapes and selling more than 10 million copies, who can blame him? “I also don’t bring a lot of people up there because, simple and plain, this is ‘MTV Unplugged,’ and this is Lil Wayne’s ‘MTV Unplugged,’ ” he said. Don’t miss “MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged,” premiering Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2, MTV and MTV.com. Related Videos Lil Wayne Goes ‘Unplugged’

‘They’re wearing these beautiful dresses, but they’re skintight,’ he tells MTV News of difficult filming conditions. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Kellan Lutz Photo: MTV News Speaking to the “Twilight” fans out there, it’s safe to assume that, by now, we’ve all seen the chills, thrills and heart-stopping moments contained within the “Breaking Dawn” trailer that debuted during the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. (We’re especially sure these Twilighters have seen the trailer .) One of the biggest squeal-getters, as far as favorite, swoon-worthy moments are concerned, was the brief glimpse of Bella and Edward’s wedding. And no matter how gorgeous everything appears in the trailer, the members of the cast have been telling us that the actual shooting of the wedding scene was not quite as glamorous, thanks to a few days of serious downpour. When MTV News caught up with Kellan Lutz on the red carpet at the Movie Awards on Sunday, we asked him to weigh in on his experience filming in the less-than-desirable rain showers. SEE PHOTOS OF ALL OF THE “TWILIGHT” STARS AT THE MOVIE AWARDS. “I just feel bad for the women on the movie,” Lutz said. “They’re wearing these beautiful dresses, but they’re skintight, and of course a lot of us are playing vampires so you have to not shiver, because vampires don’t get cold. It was tough. It was really cold. A lot of times, the heaters went off and it rained, so it made the whole climate even more cold.” Lutz’s co-star Peter Facinelli told us that, thanks to movie magic, we won’t be seeing any of the rain or shivering “Twilight” castmembers once the film is finished. “It’s funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on ‘Twilight’ [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from ‘Twilight’], and it was raining. But you never see it on film,” Facinelli said of some editing tricks. “With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you’ll never see it on film. They block out the rain. They put tarps up and you’ll never see it.” MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . ‘We have our bickering in public sometimes. But I love Michael,’ star says. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Shia LeBouf Photo: MTV News With “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” set to hit theaters at the end of the month, and a new face in Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ready to battle the alien bots, it seemed the sometimes turbulent relationship between director Michael Bay and former star Megan Fox was a thing of the past. In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, though, Shia LaBeouf seemingly added fuel to Fox and Bay’s fiery relationship when he suggested Fox felt “awkward” working with Bay. But when we caught up with LaBeouf at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, the 24-year-old actor said his comments had been misconstrued in the media and that he has nothing but affection for the director. “I love Mike; we’re like brothers,” he said. “And we have our bickering in public sometimes. But I love Michael. And he’s still the favorite director I’ve ever worked for, and I would work with him again, and I’d do anything for him. “But no way was anything I was trying to say in malice or trying to attack Michael,” he added. That didn’t stop news outlets and blogs from publishing screaming headlines about how Fox couldn’t handle Bay’s directorial style and how LaBeouf was coming to the defense of his ousted co-star. The truth, the actor told us, is that part of the creative potency in his partnership with Bay — an alliance that has driven the franchise to $1.5 billion in box-office receipts — is the way in which they can butt heads, take a breather and then move forward with the task at hand. “We scream at each other all the time,” he explained. “That’s been sort of our relationship. There’s a contention that needs to exist for us to get through the movie, and we push each other.” MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . The superhero prequel outclasses sequels ‘The Hangover Part II’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda 2’ in the weekend’s box-office tally. By Ryan J. Downey, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Kristen Stewart and Nicki Minaj Everyone saw the way Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner bonded at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . But behind the scenes, their “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” co-star Kristen Stewart was doing some bonding of her very own — albeit of a very different sort. During one of the night’s many wins for “Twilight,” Stewart accepted the award for Best Female Performance from a bearded Ashton Kutcher and rapper Nicki Minaj. When MTV News caught up with Minaj backstage at the Gibson Amphitheatre immediately after she handed over Stewart’s Golden Popcorn, she filled us in on something about her and Kristen that viewers at home wouldn’t have otherwise known. “[Kristen] had shoes on that didn’t hurt her feet. And she didn’t care that they looked really kind of crusty,” Minaj pointed out. “But I did too! I had my Uggs on backstage. “So that made me bond with her,” she added. “She’s cute.” A fast friendship with another female celebrity in an awards-show setting isn’t unprecedented for Minaj. The Young Money rapper chatted with “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards earlier this year. In fact, Minaj declared herself “obsessed” with Snooki, and Snooki relayed the same sentiment right back. Her outgoing elbow-rubbing isn’t confined to fellow females, of course. “Ashton Kutcher is a lot of fun,” she said of the newly minted “Two and a Half Men” star and her co-presenter. “We’re cool.” The always-fashionable performer has gotten increasingly used to public speaking outside of her musical performances, as evidenced by her complete lack of pre-show jitters at Movie Awards. “I wasn’t nervous at all today — for one of the only times I can remember,” she said. “This was fun!” MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . ‘I’ve never won any award before, so this is very exciting,’ she says of Best Comedic Performance prize. By Ryan J. Downey, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Emma Stone wins Best Comedic Performance at the 2011 Movie Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images A newborn baby was part of the plot in “Due Date,” but it was Emma Stone doing the cradling after she beat Zach Galifianakis (and three other guys) at the MTV Movie Awards . “This is my child,” Stone joked with MTV News backstage at the Gibson Amphitheatre as she lovingly cradled the Golden Popcorn she nabbed for Best Comedic Performance. “I’m going to [feed him]. I’m going to every day. “It’s never happened before,” she added. “I’ve never won any award before, so this is very exciting.” “Easy A” earned Stone the win over Galifianakis, Adam Sandler (“Just Go With It”), Ashton Kutcher (“No Strings Attached”) and Russell Brand (“Get Him to the Greek”). “In a category with four hilarious comedic men? I did not think I was going to win,” she said. “So I’m incredibly flattered and honored. “And it’s so nice, because it’s voted on by the public, which is an unbelievable honor,” she added. The 22-year-old actress was on hand as a presenter alongside her “Crazy, Stupid, Love” co-stars Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell. She was also nominated in the Best Female Performance category, which went to Kristen Stewart for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” Stone, who just wrapped shooting “The Amazing Spider-Man,” said she was genuinely surprised by her win in the Best Comedic Performance category. “Did that speech seem prepared?” she pointed out, laughing. “I don’t even know what I said! I was just concentrating on not falling over. Once you get up there, it’s a very shaky experience.” MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . ‘It’s kind of a prized place in my house, the downstairs toilet,’ he quips backstage about Best Villain award. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Tom Felton backstage at the 2011 Movie Awards Photo: MTV News Tom Felton might not have been interrupted by Mark Wahlberg during his MTV Movie Awards acceptance speech for Best Villain this year, but that doesn’t make receiving the award any less special for him. “Thank you very much, it’s always exciting to be here,” he said in his acceptance speech. “This is very cool. This will look very nice in my downstairs toilet.” When MTV News caught up with Felton backstage after his second straight win, he clarified that his downstairs toilet actually is a pretty important location in his home. “It’s kind of a prized place in my house, the downstairs toilet,” Felton deadpanned. “Consider it an honor.” Though he technically came back to defend the Best Villain title for “Harry Potter,” he said the real reason is because he hadn’t yet seen any of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” yet and wanted to catch the sneak peek at the MTV Movie Awards . “That’s half the reason I’m here,” he said with a laugh. Since Felton hasn’t seen any of the footage yet, he couldn’t tease how “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” would look in 3-D, but he did say it’s something he’s anticipating. “I’m very excited,” he said. “I’m not sure if that’s going to add or subtract to my screen presence.” MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . MTV News catches up with ‘Twilight’ stud after Best Male Performance win at the Movie Awards. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards Photo: MTV News In the biggest non-surprise of the night, Robert Pattinson won the MTV Movie Award for Best Male Performance for the third year in a row. But the man himself was still shocked. “I really didn’t think I was going to win. Zac Efron was crying and stuff in that clip!” Pattinson said during his acceptance speech, referring to his fellow nominee’s performance in “Charlie St. Cloud.” Still, he recognized that it was the fans who brought him the win yet again; his first win was in 2009 for “Twilight,” and then again last year for “New Moon.” “I’m consistently surprised, so thank you very much,” he said. “I hope we see you all again next year.” When MTV News caught up with the “Breaking Dawn” star after his big win, he was worried he dropped the ball a bit in his acceptance speech. “I’m just trying to come up with something funny to say to all of these. I pussied out on my first one and said nothing,” Pattinson said with a laugh. Fortunately, the man better known as Edward Cullen followed up his Best Male Performance acceptance speech with a much stronger Best Fight one. He took to the stage with “Eclipse” co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel and, after a moment’s awkwardness, pulled out the humor. “Well, yeah, I won, ha!” Pattinson said as his acceptance. Howard turned to him, apologizing for her villainess role in “Eclipse” by saying, “I guess I should say: I’m so sorry I tried to kill you, Rob.” “It’s all right. I ripped your head off, and now you’re pregnant!” he replied to the audience’s laughter. MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards .
