It’s a doubly great day to be an Adam Lambert fan today. First, the singer announced that he would front an upcoming tour with the remaining band members of Queen, hitting up various arenas and stadiums in honor of late singer Freddie Mercury. Now, Lambert has released the official music video for his latest single – off his soon-to-be-released album – “Better Than I Know Myself.” In it, we see two sides of the singer, as a pair of personalities square off; one is all dark and leather-y, the other calm, serene, sipping on tea even. Which will win out? Watch and see what happens: Adam Lambert – “Better Than I Know Myself” (Official Video)
Lindsay Lohan has been a model employee at the morgue since getting banished there for community service, according to reports. At her progress hearing tomorrow a.m., Judge Stephanie Sautner may even praise her for her good work again. Lindsay was required to complete 12 L.A. County Morgue visits and four psychotherapy sessions by Tuesday’s court hearing. LiLo has done so, finishing up her 11th and 12th community service trips Friday and Saturday. Give a girl credit for sticking to it! According to sources, Lindsay has been a model morgue employee, i.e. she shows up on time, gets the job done with no drama and she’s friendly with the staff. The oft-maligned starlet will be at the halfway mark of her probation Tuesday, with another hearing set for Feb. 15, and another 12 morgue visits required by then. On March 29, her final hearing takes place, and at that point, she must show she’s completed the remaining 17 morgue visits and six therapy classes. Should LiLo slip at any point with these terms or violate any more laws, she gets 270 days in jail . Fortunately, she seems dead set on that NOT happening. [Photo: WENN.com]
(Scott Johnson) I’ve been wondering what rationale Haley Barbour could possibly have had for the blizzard of pardons he issued on his way out of office. Now that he has explained, in an interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, I’ve gone from mystification to anger. Governor Barbour explains that most of those pardoned had already been released from prison. What about the remaining 26 pardons and the… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Power Line Discovery Date : 14/01/2012 18:24 Number of articles : 2
Ailing songstress Adele, nominated for six Grammys, is planning on attending the awards ceremony in Los Angeles next month and hopes to sing at the event. Adele was forced to cancel her remaining tour and promotional appearances after undergoing throat surgery last November and is on the shelf indefinitely. The “Rolling In The Deep” singer is nominated in six categories, including album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year for her second album, 21 . Adele underwent vocal cord microsurgery by Dr. Steven Zeitels to stop recurrent vocal cord hemorrhage (bleeding) from a benign polyp, according to reports. Her rehabilitation is well underway. “Adele will be at the Grammys in Los Angeles on February 12 at the Staples Center,” a source close to the singer says. “She’s thrilled to be nominated.” “It’s been a hard time for her because of the surgery. She has begun talking more, with her doctor’s permission. Adele’s best friend in recent weeks has been warm compresses around her neck to help the healing process of her vocal cords.” “Producers of the Grammys would love to have Adele perform and open the show, but she isn’t able to give them an answer yet. She won’t be able to give them an answer until the beginning of February, and they completely understand.” Adele has also lost 25 pounds in recent months, according to reports.
Victoria’s Secret are great marketers and now that January 1st has hit us, you know their Christmas rush where they make 80 percent of their revenue is behind them and the January lull that hits everyone before Valentines Day comes around making up 18 percent of the remaining 20….so why waste time, push some of the Valentines Day content out now, so people get it in their mind while brainwashing us to look using a hot bitch from South Africa….with a body our wives will probably never have because they are suburban, obese and fucking annoying… Here are the pics of Candice Swanepoel.
Drew Ryniewicz is only 14 years old, but she’s clearly a lot more mature than a handful of her fans. In response to this singer’s elimination from The X Factor last week, a few supporters took to Facebook and didn’t merely blame Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger for Drew’s ousting… they directed vicious death threats at the panelists . Drew Ryniewicz – What a Feeling Now, Ryniewicz has spoken out against these misguided souls, telling TMZ “that’s not what I represent and that’s not what I want my fans to represent,” concluding simply: “No one deserves death threats.” Preach on, Drew! The X Factor continues on Wednesday night with the remaining five contestants singing two songs each.
The X Factor tried to shake things up this week by sending TWO contestants home – but the only real surprise was that the show featured Howie Mandel in the audience. Isn’t he a NBC guy? Indeed, the two performances given the boot were the most obvious selections of the remaining nine, one a group, the other an over-30 hopeful. So long, Lakoda Rayne and LeRoy Bell. You had a decent run. Rayne was sent packing early on in the broadcast – which also featured performances by Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars – as that group received the lowest number of votes following last night’s performance show. Paula Abdul now has no more proteges remaining. Bell, meanwhile, was in the bottom two alongside Marcus Canty . The judges tried to instill some tension in the second elimination, deadlocking their votes and leaving the singers’ fate up to the audience. Steve Jones promptly read Bell’s name off a card and the elder crooner took his ousting like a man. You tell us: Did the right contestants get sent home?
Michael J. Fox took the stage at his own charity event this weekend at New York City’s Waldorf-Astoria and played guitar on the Chuck Berry classic, “Johnny B. Goode.” Yup, just like he did in Back to the Future – vintage red guitar and all! The 50-year-old actor, who became a megastar as Marty McFly in the classic ’80s film and its trilogy, has since become the face of Parkinson’s Disease research. Make no mistake, Marty was in the house Saturday night. Watch what might be the coolest video ever below … and hang in there because after the first minute or so, the video and sound become much crisper … Michael J. Fox – Johnny B. Goode (Live) Hey Chuck … Chuck! It’s Marvin! Your cousin, Marvin Berry? You know that new sound you’re lookin’ for? Well listen to THIS!
Ashton Kutcher reacted with shock and ignorance to Joe Paterno’s firing last week, creating quite an uproar when he accidentally defended a man who helped cover up a child abuse scandal at Penn State. Many followers couldn’t help but wonder: How could Kutcher have been unaware of this controversy ?!? It’s simple, an insider tells The New York Post : the actor has been living in a constant “bubble” for weeks now. “He works 12-hour days, is trying to save his marriage and is involved in the management of close to a dozen Internet companies, so he didn’t really know what he had done until it was too late,” this source claims . “He feels terrible.” About that marriage… is there still hope for Ashton and Demi Moore? “They both want to work things out,” the mole added. “They are doing a lot of talking and Kabbalah counseling. Despite all that has happened, when it comes down to it, they both really love each other.” It’s been a “painful time,” for Moore, this friend concluded, referring to chatter over her severe weight loss and gaunt figure. But she and Kutcher “need each other” and reportedly aren’t ready to file for divorce any time soon.
The Dancing With the Stars field is down to four. After last week’s predictable elimination of Nancy Grace , voters will have a tougher decision tonight. Among the remaining four hopefuls, who stands the best chance of victory? Let’s take a look at who’s left standing, then put it to a vote … Hope Solo has shown improvement throughout the season, culminating in her best effort of the season last week. Still an underdog to make the finals. Rob Kardashian is very well-liked and better on the floor than most people give him credit for. Long-shot to win it all, even money to survive this week. Ricki Lake. After two straight weeks at the top, she took a step back last week. It would still be a surprise if she didn’t advance, but she’s the clear #2. J.R. Martinez was nothing short of perfect last week. Having already been a clear contender all season, he’s the obvious favorite as it stands right now. Well? Who do you think will win Dancing With the Stars?
