Dancing With the Stars Top Five: Who Will Win?

The Dancing With the Stars field is down to five. Who among the remaining hopefuls, who square off again tonight, stands the best chance of victory? Let’s take a look at who’s left standing, then put it to a vote … Nancy Grace will not win Dancing With the Stars . Hope Solo has shown improvement throughout the season, and her best may be yet to come. Still, the judges seem underwhelmed (to the chagrin of Maksim Chmerkovskiy ) and a surge to the finals will be a tall order. Rob Kardashian has been the season’s biggest surprise. He’s been consistently solid and is very well-liked, despite (or because of?) his famous family.

Never Try to Knock a Kid Off a Bike

Do not, for any reason, try to open your car door and knock a kid off a bike. In this video, seen on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0, one smart ass, sitting in the back seat of a moving car, attempted just that, swinging his door open and attempting to derail an unsuspecting biker. It probably seemed like a funny idea at the time. Until karma, or just a car, came from the other direction … Kar(ma) Smashes Into Kid

Does Adele Have Throat Cancer?

Adele rumors spiraled out of control this weekend after the British soul singer announced the cancellation of all her remaining 2011 concerts and appearances. On Twitter, fans speculated that the chart-topping “Rumor Has It” singer, who has been plagued by health issues, was actually diagnosed with throat cancer. Not the case, says the 23-year-old via her rep: “We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal cord. All reports regarding any other condition are 100 percent false.” Adele has battled throat problems throughout the year as her beloved album 21 soared the charts worldwide, and will undergo surgery for the matter soon. Her return date is unknown, but “a full recovery is expected” as she rests and fully recuperates before looking to schedule any new work commitments. We’re already looking forward to when that day comes. [Photo: WENN.com]

Colin Farrell Finds His Inner Sexy Vampire in New Fright Night Character Posters

While we patiently wait out the remaining month and a half until Craig Gillespie’s 3-D Fright Night hits theaters, DreamWorks has graciously delivered an apéritif of the horror comedy in the form of four blood-stained international character posters. The most entertaining of which is Colin Farrell’s, who playfully nibbles on a necklace, while offering his sexiest vampire come-hither look to passersby.

Ryan Dunn’s ‘Proving Ground’ Returns To G4 In July

Network’s ‘Attack of the Show’ will pay tribute to the late ‘Jackass’ star. By Jocelyn Vena Ryan Dunn on “Proving Ground” Photo: G4 Only a week after pulling Ryan Dunn’s G4 series “Proving Ground” from the schedule following his death, the network announced Monday (June 27) that it would resume airing the show next month. Beginning July 19, G4 will begin to play the remaining eight episodes in the series; only one episode aired earlier this month. That same night, a special “Attack of the Show” will be dedicated to the late “Jackass” star. The special will include stunts the TV star pulled for the network, as well as interviews with his friends and colleagues. “Ryan was an incredible talent who will be missed tremendously by his fans, including G4 viewers,” G4 president Neal Tiles said in a statement to MTV News. “With the support of Ryan’s family, we’ve decided to air the remaining episodes of G4’s Proving Ground and give his fans the opportunity to continue watching this series he was so passionate about.” Dunn died last week in a car accident in West Chester, Pennsylvania, along with his friend and “Jackass” production assistant Zachary Hartwell. It was later determined Dunn was legally drunk at the time of his accident. “All of us at G4 are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic news that Ryan Dunn has passed away,” a statement from G4 last week reads. “Ryan’s comedic wit and signature no-holds-barred approach made him an incredible talent and his work as host of G4’s Proving Ground was flawless. Ryan will be missed dearly by his legion of fans and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.” In the days since Dunn’s death, his friends have remembered him in blog posts and at a private memorial service . Are you happy Dunn’s “Proving Ground” is returning to TV? Let us know in the comments. Related Videos Remembering Ryan Dunn Related Photos Ryan Dunn: A Career In Photos

Lindsay Lohan: A History of Thievery

Lindsay Lohan will be formally charged and arraigned today in court after a stunt in which she allegedly ripped off an expensive necklace from a jewelry store. While the star claims it’s just a misunderstanding (isn’t it always?), the L.A. County District Attorney believes Lindsay Lohan is a “seasoned” fashion thief. That’s the primary reason why the actress is being prosecuted for felony grand theft, and you can expect her history in this shady arena to be on full display. REPEAT OFFENDER : The D.A. will try to paint her as such, and there are certainly enough incidents from which to make a case. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] In deciding whether to prosecute Lohan, the D.A.’s Office heavily considered THREE OTHER INCIDENTS where Lindsay allegedly pilfered expensive items : She was accused of stealing a $12,000 coat in 2008 from an NYC club. She was suspected of taking a $400,000 necklace in 2009 from Elle. She was accused of taking a $35,000 Rolex from a “friend” in 2010. Lindsay was not prosecuted or convicted for any of the above, but they show a pattern, and that undisputed fact played a role in pushing the 2011 case. Prosecutors will ask the judge to admit the three incidents into evidence to show “prior bad acts” if the case goes to trial, as well as two other factors: Lindsay’s repeated run-ins with the law, including two DUIs. Lindsay’s repeated disregard for legal system by failing to perform probation requirements (not going to alcohol ed class, etc), blowing off court (trip to Cannes, etc), and just being an ass (the f–k you nails , etc). Most importantly, the D.A. has a surveillance video which shows Lindsay walking out of a Venice, Calif., jewelry store with the $2,500 piece in question. The necklace is partially hidden by other trinkets around Lindsay’s neck. Lohan will be arraigned today at 1:30 p.m. California time. Stay tuned …

Ashley Hebert Bikini Picture: From The Bachelor to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue!

In a cross-promotional effort somewhere between awesome and terrible, Monday’s episode of The Bachelor will feature a date with Brad Womack in which three of the remaining ladies will pose for the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue! Move over, Brooklyn Decker. Make room for Ashley Hebert … Don’t get us wrong. Ashley, Chantal O’Brien and Michelle Money are all attractive girls worthy of inclusion. But c’mon, we’re talking about The Bachelor , people. The SI swimsuit issue may have jumped the shark with this PR stunt, desperate to make a splash (pun intended) in the Free-Internet-Pics-of-Hot-Girls era. Nevertheless, you can’t deny that Michelle Money, for all her psycho stalker antics, has a ridiculous body she will flaunt in this setting. Chantal isn’t far behind. Ashley Hebert doesn’t have the same swimsuit model figure you normally see in SI, but is still a bona fide cutie by any measure, as the pic above proves. Her fun-loving spirit comes across well … and just forget what we said in the previous sentence. She looks like she has a dancer’s body and looks amazing. Interestingly, earlier previews for this episode may have been designed to try to throw off The Bachelor spoilers , as it was made out to look like the finale. Chantal laments that Brad Womack can’t choose her as “one of three girls.” But it’s not the end. There are still six remaining at this stage of the game. Here’s a sneak peek of the episode, in which Brad Womack gets the grumpy girls out of bed at 2 a.m. to go on this date. Oh, it will be quite worth it, girls. If you’re one of the six straight guys who watches The Bachelor, this will almost surely go down as the best group date in the show’s 15-season history: The Bachelor Swimsuit Issue Preview Who do you want to win The Bachelor?

Son of No One, Hobo With a Shotgun Among Latest Sundance 2011 Additions

Now we’re talking. After releasing a trickle of competition selections that dazzled pretty much nobody, the Sundance Film Festival cut loose with a torrent of high-profile titles — some indies, some already set for release — that will keep festgoers (and hopefully the rest of the world, eventually) busy with quality new movies for a while. The full programs for the Premieres, Spotlight, Midnight and the remaining Sundance sections are after the jump.

Asian Nations Aim to Double Tiger Population by 2022

Photo: Babirusa , Wikimedia, CC It’s rare that an entire international summit is put together for the sake of a single species — but that’s what’s taking place this weekend, when representatives from 13 Asian nations will head to St. Petersburg to try to map out the future of the tiger. The event is being hosted by Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin, and delegates from India, China, Indonesia, and elsewhere will be in attendance. They’ll attempt to forge a plan to double the remaining population of tigers — there’s only 3,200 of them left — over … Read the full story on TreeHugger
