Hope Solo: Jerramy Stevens NEVER Beat Me!

U.S. soccer star Hope Solo insists husband Jerramy Stevens never laid a hand on her, despite the former NFL player’s arrest for domestic violence two weeks ago. Hope Solo married him the next DAY, so that’s hopefully an encouraging sign. There was wide speculation that Stevens attacked Solo during a house party at their residence, but she just released a statement, claiming that never happened: “My beautiful husband & i happy as can be! [sic] Let me set the record straight!!! Jerramy has NEVER treated me poorly! The truth always prevails!” Jerramy Stevens was arrested again last night for violating his probation. The domestic violence bust following the November 12 incident, when cops were called and found blood on Hope Solo’s elbow, triggered that violation. Jerramy was released after a judge decided there wasn’t evidence to charge him, but even suspicion of a crime can lead to the revocation of probation. Stevens has been on probation for a previous drug possession charge from October 2010 when he was nabbed after cops found a baggie of pot on him. He was playing for NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the time. Earlier today, Solo called out people for judging Stevens. “I feel bad for all the ignorance in the world,” the 31-year-old wrote. “People are so quick to judge. The media spins stories in such dramatic fashion.” “I will Continue to show love,and never make judgements. I am blessed w True Love & the beautiful game of soccer. Robert Pattinson Moves Back In!!!

Our long national nightmare is over, THG readers. A new report doesn’t simply state that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are headed in the right direction ; it confirms the couple has already arrived at its destination. “They are living together and have reconciled,” a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly , which goes on sale Friday. The road back to happiness for Robsten will remain challenging, however. Another insider also tells the tabloid that Rob and Kristen are once again an item, but their relationship has changed since she admitted to an affair with director Rupert Sanders . For understandable reasons, Pattinson is allegedly “extra-sensitive right now,” claims this mole. “He’s insecure.” But at least he’s back where he belongs. Following the Sanders/Stewart scandal, multiple friends confirmed Robert moved out of the residence he and Kristen purchased about a year ago and had been holed up for weeks in Reese Witherspoon’s vacation home. But with the Breaking Dawn press tour about to begin, and with time healing at least some of his wound, it appears as if Pattinson has found a way to forgive. Can he ever forget, though?

Sage Stallone Cause of Death: Heart Disease

Sage Stallone, the son of Sylvester Stallone, died of coronary artery disease, with coroner’s officials suggesting that smoking might have played a role. Coroner Chief Craig Harvey said that Sage had a history of being a heavy smoker, although family members have said the amount had diminished lately. Sage Stallone died in July at the age of 36. The coroner declared death by natural causes and the toxicology test came back “negative except for a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone.” The drug played no role in his death. A housekeeper found Stallone’s body. According to reports, pills were found at the residence and investigators were trying to determine their source and whether they played any role in the death. Instead, heart disease was the cause of death, and exactly what role, if any, smoking played in that is a question that may never be answered. Sylvester also lost his half-sister, Toni-Ann Filiti , this week.

Sarah Palin Dines at Chick-fil-A, Subtly Reminds Us She Hates Gays

Former political figure/celeb Sarah Palin stopped by a lucky Chick-fil-A restaurant Friday to “support a great business” slash probably denounce gay people. Palin Tweeted and Facebooked a picture of herself, former Alaska First Dude Todd Palin, at Chick-fil-A, looking happy to be at the Houston-area spot. “Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business,” is her caption, no doubt in support of Chick-fil-A’s anti-gay marriage stance . To be clear, Chick-fil-A’s founders have a right to their opinions, and by visiting there and posting the photo above, Sarah’s exercising that same right. Freedom of speech. Great stuff. But to be equally clear, Palin is all but certainly using it to imply she hates gays without having to say she hates gays. Way to be cowardly – chicken if you will – in your bigotry, Sarah. At least pull a Mike Huckabee and declare a full-on Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. Ed Helms, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian and others have called for a Chick-fil-A boycott, while Boston banned the restaurant from the city. Where do you stand on the calls to boycott the chain?

Bret Michaels Calls Off Engagement to Kristi Gibson

Every rose might have its thorn, but Bret Michaels no longer has his fiancee: the rocker has called off his engaged to Kristi Gibson. “Although the couple have separated they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters,” the singer’s rep tells People . Michael and Gibson are the parents of Raine Elizabeth, 12, and Jorja Bleu, 7. They were together for 16 years before Bret popped life’s biggest question in December of 2010 ; the moment was caught on camera for a VH1 documentary. Gibson has been by Michaels’ side through a variety of serious ailments over the last couple years, including an emergency appendectomy, a near-fatal brain hemorrhage and a stroke. He’s on a path to full recovery now, but evidently the same can’t be said of this relationship.

Robsten Update: Who is Moving Out?

With new damaging photos out of Kristen Stewart totally macking on Rupert Sanders , we have an update on the living situation between the actress and what is seeming more and more like her EX boyfriend. Converse to previous reports, sources now say Stewart is the one moving out of the home she had been sharing with Robert Pattinson in Los Angeles. People Magazine even has a photo up of a moving truck parked outside the residence Saturday morning, while it quotes a source who says Pattinson is in terrible emotional shape. “The entire thing has been such a blow to Rob. Talk about having his heart ripped out,” says the insider. “Rob just isn’t going to be able to get past the cheating – one time or not.” It was a lot more than one time , a relative of Sanders’ has come out and said, though this relative doesn’t seem to have any first-hand knowledge. Either way, the result is the same: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart really do appear to be over, making the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6 a must-watch: they are scheduled to present together.

Bear Eats Convicted Murderer in Canada

Canadian conservation officers euthanized a black bear that ate the remains of a convicted murderer, British Columbia Environment Minister Terry Lake said. Multiple news sources in Canada report that the bear’s description matched that of one seen guarding a cache that contained the remains of Rory Wagner, 54. Examinations of fur at the scene as well as teeth and claw marks confirmed the bear that was euthanized is the one that ate the remains of the missing man. The animal was put down because bears remember food sources. Bear Eats Man in Canada Officials suspect the bear pulled Wagner, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 1994, from his car after he passed away on a remote logging road. Wagner and two others were charged with a killing a man they believed had sexually assaulted a family member. He served prison time and was released. Wagner, who was living in Kamloops, B.C., was reported missing May 23. Police said his death was not suspicious. Hunters found the site last week. Coroner Mark Coleman said it is not yet known how Wagner died. Coleman said an autopsy showed he was dead before the bear got him out of the car. Wagner was on parole, and when he failed to show up at his residence May 22, a warrant was issued for his arrest. His body was found shortly after.

Casey Anthony to Be Subpoenaed, Flushed Out of Hiding in Defamation Case

After 10 months in hiding, Casey Anthony may soon resurface after being subpoenaed in a lawsuit by Zenaida Gonzalez, a.k.a. Zanny the Nanny. Investigators have been waiting outside her residence in Florida for days to serve her with a subpoena in a defamation lawsuit filed by Gonzalez . “Our investigation team has had her whereabouts pinned down,” says Gonzalez’s lawyer, Matt Morgan . “Their backs were against the wall.” “Her attorneys said that they would accept service on her behalf.” Gonzalez filed suit over Anthony’s comments in 2008 that a babysitter named Zenaida Gonzalez had kidnapped Anthony’s 2-year-old daughter Caylee . The toddler was found dead and Anthony was charged with murder. She was found not guilty after a sensational trial in July and went into seclusion. There was no babysitter by that name, but Gonzalez – who had nothing to do with Casey – claimed defamation because the two names are the same. The defamation case has proceeded , with Anthony living in a secret location in Florida (where she must remain due to her probation for check fraud). A judge finally ordered that Casey Anthony’s attorneys must disclose her whereabouts so that she may be served and answer questions under oath. Anthony had planned to leave the country after her probation was finished in September, but she now will must return to Orlando to face Gonzalez. Gonzalez, who is seeking unspecified damages, is “happy” to hear that Casey “will be held accountable just like everybody else,” says her attorney.

Ryan Leaf Arrested for Second Time in Three Days

Ryan Leaf is in major trouble with the law. Again. Just two days after being arrested for stealing prescription pain medication , the former number-two overall draft pick was booked this morning in Montana on new counts of burglary, theft and criminal possession of dangerous drugs. The latest arrest is “based on a burglary that happened yesterday afternoon after he bailed out,” Central Montana Drug Task Force Commander Chris Hickman told reporters today. Leaf – who had been scheduled for a hearing in court today based on Friday’s charges, which were based on the discovery of 28 Oxycodone pills in his pickup truck and the testimony from an acquaintance that Leaf broke into his residence to acquire them – is also in violation of his probation (stemming from a 2009 arrest) and cannot be released from jail at the moment. The former quarterback was a standout at Washington University and was drafted second (behind Peyton Manning) by the San Diego Chargers in 1998. He never came close to fulfilling his promise and was out of the league by 2001.
