This is “interesting”: In a surprising move, singer Rihanna is allowing the restraining order placed against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown to be lifted , RadarOnline.com has learned. The Grammy’s mark one of the most publicized celebrity assaults of all time and this weekend it will be two years since Brown’s vicious attack on the singer in which she sustained significant facial bruising and lacerations. The 22-year-old songstress has requested that the order be dropped to a level one, so the two can have contact as long as Brown doesn’t harass or molest her. Although the order has not be officially modified by the judge, both Rihanna and Brown’s attorney’s have been made aware of the impending change. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Brown appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom two weeks ago where his attorney, Mark Geragos, requested the restraining order against his client be lifted. Judge Schnegg did not immediately grant his request but did suggest a modification with the approval of Rihanna’s attorney, David Etra – which is what transpired recently. After being left battered and bruised by Brown, Rihanna is determined to prove she isn’t afraid of him any longer. Source

Chris Brown is looking to get the restraining order against him lifted. It’s been in place since he pummeled Rihanna senseless prior to the 2009 Grammys. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, told Judge Patricia Schnegg that Brown did 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and requested that the order be lifted . “It makes it difficult at award shows and such,” Geragos said. GOOD DAYS : Now other guys take and leak Rihanna topless pics . Shame . Judge Schnegg did not immediately grant his request but did suggest a modification of it, pending the approval of Rihanna’s attorney, David Etra. The decision to modify the restraining order will be filed in court at a later date. The judge did praise Brown again for his commitment, however. In fact, she was so pleased, she told Brown that he can come in “next time you’re in town” instead of scheduling a future progress report hearing. To date, Brown has done 581 hours of community labor and domestic violence counseling. Aside from the occasional Raz B feud , he’s been great. He remains on probation through mid-2014.

The Sarah Palin stalker wants the world to know he’s innocent. His hilarious, dubious explanation? Sarah texted him first! The father of 19-year-old Shawn Christy says that back in 2009, his son began receiving “ominous” text messages from an unknown number. The person sending the texts dropped several hints about her identity, including that she’s from Alaska and works in politics … obviously, it was Sarah Palin. Why would Palin contact some random guy in Pennsylvania? Shawn’s dad couldn’t explain that part, but they alerted the FBI about these mystery texts. The bureau didn’t investigate Sarah, instead turning on Shawn, gathering evidence against him to secure the restraining order that he’s still under. Shawn’s dad says they’ve spent thousands fighting the protective order to no avail and have since been forced to declare bankruptcy. Really, guys? Why do you need a restraining order against Sarah Palin lifted? Just don’t go near her. Besides, Sarah would just Facebook you anyway. Texts? Come on.

Shawn Christy, the dude who’s been legally ordered to stay away from Sarah Palin, is causing a new wave of concern in Alaska with his planned visit to the state. Christy plans to travel to Wasilla in the hopes of removing a restraining order issued against him last year after Sarah and close friend Kristan Cole obtained it. Palin and Cole proved he sent them threatening emails and letters. According to TMZ, Cole is launching a preemptive strike through the courts in the hopes of blocking Shawn Christy from “dissolving” the restraining order. Cole filed documents explaining how he has continued to harass her and her family in the past few months and why keeping the order in place is needed. Law enforcement sources tell us Shawn, who lives in Pennsylvania, has not been seen in Alaska yet, but has already filed to remove the protective order. Dude, do us all a favor and back off. Regardless of your views on Sarah Palin, let her live her life in peace. Threats and violence get us nowhere as a society. Besides, if you really don’t like her, ignore her. Maybe then she’ll go away. Please?
