Nicole Richie failed to correct her lawyer when he referred to Joel Madden as her ‘husband’ during her restraining order trial. The 28-year-old was in court on November 16 to give her testimony at a hearing, where a judge issued her with a restraining order against two paparazzi stemming from a car accident . During the 15 minutes of her testimony, her lawyer Mark Geragos referred to her partner Joel Madden, 30, as her husband despite the fact that the pair, who have two children together, have never stated that they are married.

Here’s Chris Brown leaving court just moments ago! Flanked by a Los Angeles County Sheriff and his own personal security the R&B singer’s somber expression was the opposite of his flashy pin-striped three-piece suit.
We snapped Rihanna leaving the recording studio at 5:30am in NYC. While on the left coast, her lawyers are going to speak on behalf of the R&B singer during Chris Brown’s sentencing to ask them to remove the restraining order against her former boyfriend.
