Legendary journalist Andy Rooney passed away last night. He was 92. The 60 Minutes mainstay known to generations for his wry, humorous and contentious TV essays – a unique genre he is credited with pioneering – died just over a month after he announced his retirement from the long-running news program. “It’s a very sad day at 60 Minutes and for everybody here at CBS News,” said Jeff Fager, chairman of CBS News and the executive producer of 60 Minutes . “It’s hard to imagine not having Andy Rooney around. He loved his life and he lived it on his own terms. We will all miss him very, very much.” On October 2, he made his 1,097th and last appearance on 60 Minutes. “I wish I could do this forever,” he said, admitting he’s dreaded his retirement . Poignantly, but with vintage curmudgeonly humor, he closed that final segment by thanking his fans, of which there are millions, young and old. Robert Ross is suing Shaquille O’Neal for allegedly masterminding a plot to kidnap him over a sex tape Ross supposedly possessed that depicted the former NBA star and a mistress. It’s a complicated case and you can read more about it HERE . Now, in new court documents obtained by TMZ, Ross includes even more damning accusations against Shaq: he says O’Neal hired him to murder multiple people, including a gang member, a record producer, and a woman Shaq knocked up. Ross is a former gang member and acquaintance of O’Neal’s, who had falling out with the athlete over a record deal. The lawsuit reads : “For many years O’Neal requested and directed [Ross] to perform many personal favors and directed him to perform various tasks including, but not limited to: ordering [Ross] to kill a member of the Downtown Gangster Crips who had disrespected O’Neal in front of his wife Shaunie.” According to Ross, O’Neal also issued “an order to kill a woman whom [he]had impregnated and paid for her abortion” and “an order to kill a renown record producer, as well as “an order to break an NBA player’s shooting arm.” A lawyer for Shaq, who was hired this week as an analyst by TNT, has replied to these charges: “The outlandish claims by Robert Ross in his civil complaint are pure fiction.

Then Weezy switched up, telling XXL that he would be “gone by 31.” Now, Lil Tunechi, dropped his Sorry 4 the Wait mixtape on Wednesday, tells MTV News that he isn’t sure when exactly he will walk away from rap. “I’m not sure; I’m not gonna Brett Favre y’all,” Wayne said referring to the former Green Bay Packers quarterback who finally handed the NFL his walking papers in January after years of talking about it. “I’m not gonna draw it all the way out the whole year: ‘We wondering, is Wayne gonna do this?’ But the honest answer is I don’t know.” Wayne — who has already recorded eight solo albums, sold more than 10 million records and won four Grammy Awards — said he wants to focus less on making hits and more on his kids. His oldest daughter, Reginae, is a budding performer herself at age 12, and Weezy wants his little girl to eventually stunt like her daddy. “I’m so settled in my life right now,” he told us. “I have my kids; they’re wonderful. My daughter has her career ahead of her now. I have to focus on that, and I have to put the same focus that I put in my career. … I want to become a better father, I want to become a better man to my woman, and those things take time. and time takes away from this. So the honest answer to that [retirement] question is, I don’t know.
