Just a few weeks ago YBN Almighty Jay  accompanied Dream Doll to Colombia while she got her tummy knifed up and took her on a helicopter date while she recovered. But now, it seems the teen is back being friendly with his ex-GF Blac Chyna. The pair was spotted visiting a Houston area restaurant together. Seems like Chyna was on Jay’s turf since (we assume) he lives in Houston. He is signed to Texas area music label Rap-A-Lot. Source: Spencer Platt / Getty Eric Garner Killer Daniel Pantaleo Suspended The man who killed Eric Garner , Officer Daniel Pantaleo, has been suspended while NYPD Deputy Commissioner and departmental administrative judge Rosemarie Maldonado decides whether or not he should be fired according to GulfNews . Pantaleo used a chokehold that had been banned by the department and ignored Garner’s pleas for breath while he was being arrested for harmless cigarette sales. NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill suggested Pantaleo be fired and the community is encouraged by better-late-than-never semblance of justice: “Today, we finally saw a step toward justice and accountability,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination. “And I hope that this will now bring the Garner family a sense of closure and the beginning of some peace,” he added. Firing is the bare minimum of consequences that Pantaleo should face. We’d much rather see him in a prison cell than on LinkedIn.

Stevie J Gets Arrest Warrant For Joseline Hernandez, Custody Battle Getting Ugly

A judge issued an arrest warrant for Joseline after she didn’t allow the producer and fellow reality star to visit his daughter. TMZ detailed the struggle: Stevie had a right to take custody of their 2-year-old daughter,  Bonnie Bella from July 28 to August 11. Joseline was in Miami shooting “Marriage Boot Camp,” so he traveled there on the 28 to pick up his daughter. According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, instead of turning Bonnie Bella over, Joseline took the child and flew to L.A. After Stevie’s attorney,  Adamma McKinnon ran to court, the judge in the custody case issued an arrest warrant Thursday, ordering Joseline to turn the baby over STAT or she would be taken into custody. We’ve learned Stevie J flew to L.A. late Friday and the stage is now set for a showdown. The judge made it clear … if Joseline doesn’t turn the child over, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. is ordered to immediately arrest her. And, there’s more … because Joseline violated the custody agreement — which gave her physical custody and Stevie J visitation — the judge switched it around and now Stevie has sole physical custody of Bonnie Bella … until August 15 when they’re back in Fulton County court. Fortunately for Joseline, she reportedly handed Bonnie Bella to Stevie’s adult daughter in Miami. She and the baby are now on their way back to Los Angeles. We’re going to guess the Love & Hip-Hop cameras weren’t around.

Fired Actor Jason Mitchell’s Character In ‘The Chi’ Will Be [REDACTED]

Source: Amy Sussman / Getty We now know the fate of Jason Mitchell ‘s character in Showtime’s The Chi series. The actor was dismissed after misconduct allegations on the set became public, so it really come as a surprise. But just in case, spoilers ahead, but not really. According to Deadline , Mitchell’s character Brandon will be killed off. The actor was fired after Season 2 wrapped, which put exactly how the character would be removed in limbo—and now we know. When asked by Deadline after the network’s TCA executive session, Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed that Brandon is being killed off. “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it,” Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine told Deadline when confirming the character’s demise. Back in May. Mitchell was accused of inappropriate behavior on the set with female co-star Tiffany Boone. However, he only got the heave-ho after multiple incidents and after it continued despite HR training. Executive produced and created by Lena Waithe, The Ch i is headed into its third season.

On Saturday, August 3, the College Park, Georgia native announced that he was being honored with his own day in Chicago. Joining his most recent honor of being inducted into the 2019  X XL  Freshman Class , the rapper shared his latest bit of good news on his Instagram Story. The photo he posted shows the decry, which was granted on behalf of the Community Schools Initiative. “On Sat. Aug. 3, 2019, Chicago Illinois South Shore International College Preparatory High School would like to proclaim today Gunna Day!” the letter reads. “In tribute to your first ballot hall of fame music career on and off the stage and your wonderful work providing billions of youth around the world to have the audacity to hope against all odds.” The rapper finished off the post by writing “Thank you so much Chicago” over the image. @1GunnaGunna got his own day in Chicago #gunna #gunnamedia pic.twitter.com/6iqshSExHe — GUNNA.MEDIA (@GunnaMedia) August 4, 2019 Gunna’s latest honor coincides with his appearance in Chicago for his performance at Lollapalooza. He spoke to the media about his brave act and he made it clear that he wants no parts of the “hero” title. In fact, what he saw in Walmart this week will likely torment him for the rest of his life. C hicago-bred rapper Common is adding real estate developer to his repertoire. According to the Chicago Tribune , the music artist—whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn —is investing in the transformation of an underdeveloped property located in the city’s South Side area. Chicago rapper Common and a group of real estate developers want to convert the former U.S. Steel plant on the city’s south lakefront into a movie production campus. https://t.co/44yxW8ug3L — Chicago Tribune (@chicagotribune) July 28, 2019 Lynn is reportedly working with a group of real estate developers to transform a vacant piece of land which used to be a U.S. Steel plant into a large mixed-use development. He wants to convert the 415-acre site into a hub that will include homes, stores, entertainment and sports facilities, and a movie production campus. He hopes that the development of these new establishments will revive the surrounding community and provide job opportunities for people in the neighborhood. The cost to purchase the site will be nearly $71 million. The developers are working on bringing investors on board and the plans for the site would have to be approved by the city. Lynn has been dedicated to bettering his hometown and bringing authentic narratives about the city to the forefront through his artistry. “I felt a responsibility to be a voice for the people of Chicago, to represent their humanity,” he said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times . “We are human beings and that’s something many people don’t get to experience or witness because they hear about Chicago through its violence. We have a duty to make sure we tell the stories of these human beings.” The rapper isn’t the only one who is investing in their hometown. Earlier this year it was announced that Queen Latifah is creating an affordable housing complex in Newark to level the playing field when it comes to housing equity. The project—which is reportedly going to cost $14 million—will include a community of multi-family townhouses, a fitness center and commercial space that will be used by nonprofit organizations. Dead Wrong: Woman Allegedly Searched Obituaries To Rob Families While They Attended Funerals

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Woman Used Obituaries To Rob People That Were Attending Funerals According to the New York Post , a Bronx woman is being accused of preying on the grieving families by allegedly looking up the obituaries of their loved ones online and then burglarizing the homes of the family members while they were attending the funeral services. Latonia Shelecia Stewart, 26, was slapped with multiple charges connected to six different break-ins that were reported between fall 2017 and spring 2018. Prosecutors claim she targeted people who were attending their spouse’s wake or funeral services. She would allegedly look up the obituaries of the person who died and then track down where their loved ones lived  and assumed they wouldn’t be home during the funeral and steal jewelry and other personal items from the residences. Stewart was attempting to break into the home of a dead person on May 1, 2018, when cops caught her in the act. She allegedly had their obituary on her cellphone and her baby in the back seat. She is facing 22 counts of burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, criminal mischief, possession of burglar’s tools and three motor vehicle violations.

The three-time All-Star is considered to be the anchor that kept the Warriors steady during their five-year finals run. So, to prevent losing such a pivotal piece of their franchise, the Warriors decided to extend Draymond the biggest offer that they could. Just last month, the Warriors and Klay Thompson agreed to a five-year, $190 million contract during this summer’s free agency. Even though Green received the most money he could at this point in his career, if he had waited until free agency, he would’ve been able to seek out a bigger contract from the Warriors or another franchise. The choice he made–to not even consider another option–proves that star players like Steph Curry, Klay, and Draymond are looking to continue building something special as a unit.
