Porsha Williams Speaks On Her Party For Duke Williams Remember when we told you that Porsha Williams got relentlessly roasted for giving her boyfriend Duke Williams a party and a “tropy man” award after just months of dating??? Well the RHOA star is responding to the criticism she received regarding her relationship, in particular from her friends and business associates. In her latest Bravo blog , Porsha was asked if she was surprised that her business partners weren’t supportive of her dating: “You know what, I have to say I was surprised. Because again, I feel like when I’m in a relationship, I’m at my best. I’ve always said, once I get my business in order, everything is good. If your personal life is good and you have a solid support system at home, you can go conquer the world. So, I really didn’t understand what they were saying. I think they were coming from a place of what would happen if I break up with that individual, and that could possibly be true.” She then commented on her friends and associates gossiping about her now ex at his going away party. During the celebration that included the 24-year-old meeting Porsha’s family, several of Porsha’s friends were seen laughing about rumors that Duke was DMing freaky flick star Mia Khalifa. Bravotv.com: Were you shocked to hear everyone commenting on the rumors about Duke? I was shocked as hell. Honestly, I didn’t know all that gossiping was going on. Later when I found out, I was pissed. I was really upset because, as you can see, I put a lot into that freaking party. I felt like I had prepped everybody, I had pulled all my friends to the side and told everybody, “This party’s for Duke, I’m so excited. We’re going to send him off, he’s going to go and kill it this season. I want him to feel love and support.” And later on when I see all this negative energy was in his party, I was really upset with each person, and I had to talk to each individual about how I felt. Poor Porsha, maybe gossip like that ultimately killed their relationship. What do YOU think??? Were Porsha’s friends wrong to gossip about Duke at his party???
