‘Jersey Shore’ star teases his gig with Spears this weekend in Puerto Rico. He not only opened for her in Las Vegas earlier this year during the taping of her “I Am the Femme Fatale” MTV special , but he later hit the road with Spears for her Femme Fatale tour . So opening for the princess of pop as she wraps up her world tour this weekend won’t be too difficult for the “Jersey Shore” star. He’s slated to appear with her on December 10 in Puerto Rico. It’s the very last stop on the months-long, sprawling trek around the globe. Since Pauly last hit the road with pop’s ultimate femme fatale , he told MTV News that he has been keeping in touch with his pal. “Yeah [we keep in contact], oh yeah, for sure,” he said. “A lot of tweets.” While Pauly played it coy during our chat about the upcoming gig, he did give us just enough hints to let us know that the show is indeed all set for Saturday. “There’s rumors; rumors have it that I might be on that tour,” he joked. “I’m not sure. I’d love to. I hope so. I like Puerto Rico and it’s nice this time of year.” Is there any chance that Britney might make an appearance on Pauly’s in-the-works solo reality show while he’s out there with her? “She’s busy. She’s really busy and I’d love to link up with her and get her on this ’cause doing her tour, that was another dream for me, to do an artist’s tour. I’ve been a fan of Britney my whole life, so it’s been great for me.” “She was happy for me,” he continued. “She was like, ‘Oh you’re going to be fist pumping on the show.’ She gets a kick out of the fist pumping.” If that appearance doesn’t pan out, DJ Pauly D needn’t worry too much. He just announced his deal with 50 Cent’s G-Note Records , a step that should help to take his DJ career to the next level. 50 spoke to MTV News about the deal earlier this week, teasing some big things. “Pauly’s project is not all his performance on the actual records,” Fif explained of the “hit record” he hopes to make with the DJ, set for release in 2012. “It’s more like what you would get from a DJ Khaled or DJ Drama but also what you would get from David Guetta — so it’s a cross between those two worlds, and I think it’s exciting.” Fans of Pauly D are also pumped for the latest season of his hit MTV series “Jersey Shore.” Just this week, a season 5 trailer dropped and there seems to be enough drama, GTL and smushing to go around for everyone. “There was a lot of tension in [Italy], because we were away from our friends, away from our family, so all we had was each other — that’s it,” Pauly said. “So now we literally ran to Jersey, because we missed it so much, and we just shared that bond, because we’ve been there before, so we enjoyed it with everybody this year. It was really one of my best years , I think.” The fifth season of “Jersey Shore” premieres Thursday, January 5, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Unbroken singer tells MTV News that fans can expect Lady Gaga, Maroon 5 covers; hints at plans for 2012 world tour. By Christina Garibaldi Demi Lovato Photo: MTV News Demi Lovato has been hitting a lot of high notes lately. On Monday, the “Skyscraper” singer sang the national anthem at the World Series , she’ll be performing alongside Lady Gaga at Z100’s Jingle Ball concert in December and she’s gearing up to hit the road for 10 tour dates beginning next month. “[I’m] very excited,” Lovato told MTV News about heading out for the first time since leaving the Jonas Brothers’ tour to seek treatment for personal issues last November. The 19-year-old has already given fans a sneak peek at what can expect from her during two recent shows in New York and in Los Angeles. “We’re gonna do the same show, but a little bit different … better and bigger, and my fans just have to come check it out,” Lovato said of the dates beginning November 16 in Detroit. “We were just experimenting with the show and trying to see how it all played out and give my fans something that will bait them in for the tour.” Lovato will be performing songs off her Unbroken album, plus her fan favorite rendition of Lil Wayne’s “How to Love.” But Wayne won’t be the only artist she covers onstage. “I’m thinking of maybe a Maroon 5 or Lady Gaga cover,” Lovato revealed. “I like ‘Born this Way’ and ‘Moves Like Jagger,’ I’d want to perform one of those.” If Lovato isn’t heading to your hometown this time around, no need to worry, it looks like she’ll be back on the road sooner than expected. “I’m planning on a world tour next year,” Lovato told us. While it’s still unconfirmed when Lovato will kick off that world tour, she already has an opening act in mind. “You know who I did see the other day on the Internet was that little girl Sophia Grace,” Lovato said of the eight-year-old U.K. sensation who gained YouTube fame with her cover of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass.” “She’s so cute, maybe she can open up for me,” Demi said. Apart from singing skills, Grace and Lovato have at least one more thing in common: their love for Nicki Minaj. “I just love that she can rap and sing,” Lovato said of the Queens rapper. “You know, a lot of people can just rap and she can rap and sing and she has a really good voice. She’s fun; she doesn’t take herself too seriously. A lot of artists take themselves way too seriously. It’s hard to find artists that just want to have fun these days, and that’s what she does.” Does that mean Demi would want Minaj to hit the road with her? “She would be amazing. December 7 show at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom would set record for Most Shows Performed During a Single Album Cycle. To date, they’ve played shows on six continents, and now, all that touring will earn them a place in the “Guinness Book of World Records.” On December 7, 30STM will perform their 300th — and final — show in support of War, at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. And when that gig is completed, they’ll officially set the record for Most Shows Performed During a Single Album Cycle. That’s according to a press release issued Monday (October 17) by the band’s spokesperson, which touts the show as “a special Tribus Centum Numerarae concert” and promises that “the band is also planning a special week of unique shows celebrating this milestone, beginning on December 5.” “We have been on the road for an incredible and insane two years and thought what better way to celebrate the end of this phenomenal journey than with a week of special shows in New York City,” 30STM frontman Jared Leto said in a statement. “We thought documenting this for posterity with the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ would be fun especially as we aren’t any good at growing our fingernails very long or cultivating the world’s largest squash.” Don’t downplay a giant squash, dude. I went to Justin’s concert on March 16th, which was the best concert I have ever been to. After the concert, my mom said, “Okay well you’re lucky you saw him tonight cause you’ll probably never see him again”. This made me so depressed! I was like, “Mommmmm how could you say that, of course I’m going to meet him one day!” So everyone finds this so hard to believe, but I actually met Justin by coincidence TWO DAYS after the concert! I mean of all people to bump into Justin Bieber, me?! An insanely huge fan of his with posters all over my wall and the one known at school as the Justin Bieber-obsessed girl? It happened six months ago and I still can’t believe it. My friends and I went to Oxford Street (a big shopping street in London, UK) after school on a Friday and my friend and I weren’t sure if Justin was still in London. We really wanted to find out, but we were pretty sure he had left for Manchester already. We were both so desperate to see him. My friend saw someone tweet that Justin was at this hotel, which was really close to where we were on Oxford St, so we decided to go have a look. We walked to the hotel and saw a big group of beliebers outside. We asked one of the girls if he was there and she was like, no sorry Justin’s gone…(bitch!). We were walking around the hotel area and bumped into RYAN GOOD! He was awesome and I was shocked but we got a group photo with him. I asked if was Justin around, he was like I honestly don’t know! We went back to Oxford St for a while and then it started to get late, so we went to this pizzeria. We met up with my friend who got me the Justin Bieber doll which sings OLLG. While in the restaurant, we were all imagining if Justin were to walk in. We finished dinner and headed to the tube station. On the way to the tube, we passed by the hotel. Suddenly we noticed that most beliebers had left but there were still like 7 or 8 standing behind the banners. Then we noticed someone familiar standing outside. It was KENNY HAMILTON! We started casually walking down the road and went right up to Kenny. We asked if Justin was here and he said, “Yeah he should be down in sec”. I started freaking out. I mean words can’t describe how much I love this boy, he is my whole life right now. Justin came out shortly with Jaden, Alfredo and some other people. Then he walked over and came straight to us for some reason, which pissed off some of the beliebers who were screaming in his face saying they’d been there since the day before or something ridiculous. I was there standing on the road holding my JB doll because it didnt fit in my bag. Justin was the sweetest person ever, he was like, “Are you guys together? Do you wanna have a group photo cause I have to be real quick!” Nothing came out of my mouth cause I was so shocked bit my friends were like Yeah! Alfredo took our photo, it was amazing. After we took the photo, I did something really weird and crazy. I touched his face! You could say it was a mini slap but I didn’t mean it, I just did it without thinking. It was like I was checking if he was real. I was just thinking is this actually happening? Is this actually Justin Bieber? He gave me a weird look but I’m sure he gets fans doing crazy things like that all the time. He was just so nice! In the photo I kinda look like I’m grabbing his jacket but I was about to put my hand on his face. Lol. He said bye and smiled at us, got into the car and drove off. I tried to act cool but as soon as his car was out of sight, I was running down the road screaming with my hand in the air like, I JUST TOUCHED JUSTIN BIEBER! It was the best night of my life and after that experience with him, it’s encouraged me to help other beliebers meet him, so now whenever people ask for help I’ll help them, whether that is signing twititions or tweeting Justin and the crew. I know I’ll see him again one day and hopefully get to say more to him, and maybe apologize for randomly putting my hand in his face. Beginning October 2, the G.O.O.D. Music MC will begin his I Am Finally Famous Tour, a 30-city run that concludes November 25 in Los Angeles. “I’m embarking on my first solo tour this fall, and I passed up a lot of good opportunities, but I’m still gonna be a part of those opportunities one way or another,” Sean told MTV News. “I really thought it was important to do my own solo tour.” The Detroit rapper most recently was out on the road with Wiz Khalifa as part of his Rolling Papers tour, and in the past he talked about the possibility of joining Jay-Z and Kanye West on their Watch the Throne run. Sean didn’t confirm or deny that he’ll hit the road with Hov and ‘Ye, but judging from the already announced WTT dates, Sean’s involvement in it looks unlikely. For this run, Sean tells MTV News that he’ll be hitting smaller venues so he can build a closer relationship with his fans. “I think that’s really important for my first time out. Building my tour base I really wanted to have something intimate, something people will remember forever,” he said. “I’m gonna put on a hell of a show.
