New footage of aptly-named rapper Gunplay pulling a gun on an accountant has surfaced. The Maybach Music Group member was arrested for armed robbery earlier this week. Gunplay Robbery: Rapper Pulls Gun Gunplay (Richard Morales Jr.) allegedly stole a cell phone and a gold chain afterward. Rick Ross ‘ protege turned himself in to Miami-Dade Police after a warrant was issued. Gunplay also reportedly faces a second charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. He could face many years or even life in prison if convicted on both felony counts. This incident has nothing to do with the 50 Cent-Gunplay fight at the BET Awards. Mr. Play does not seem to shy away from potentially violent altercations, however.
Congratulations are very much in order for Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson. The actress gave birth to her third child on Sunday night, multiple sources confirm, a girl whose name and measurements are being kept a secret for the time being. But “Mom and baby are doing well,” a rep for the actress says in a statement. It’s Thurman’s first kid with Busson, a financier she started dating in 2007, split briefly with in 2009 and has been steady with every since. Busson has two children himself with Elle MacPherson – sons Flynn, 14, and Cy, nine-and-a-half – while Thurman plays mother to daughter Maya, 14, and son Levon, 10, with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
With rumors continuing to circulate regarding the death of Sage Stallone – did he overdose? Was his corpse lying around for three days prior to being found? – the 36-year old’s famous father has released a new statement. “When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain,” Sylvester Stallone tells TMZ. “Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.” As pictured above, the Stallones starred in 1990’s Rocky V as father and son and, by all accounts, were close in real life. Sage’s cause of death remains unknown, while sources say his case has been moved to the Robbery Homicide because it is so high profile. “This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives,” the actor concludes. “Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”
Kitty Litter Linked To Suicide in Women Kitty litter is some nasty isht. So nasty it can make women off themselves… Women infected with the cat parasite Toxoplasma gondii are more likely to attempt suicide than non-infected women, new research finds. The reason for this connection, however, remains mysterious. T. gondii is a protozoa that prefers to infect cats, but can make its home in any warm-blooded animal. Humans can pick up the parasite from contact with cat feces, or by eating undercooked meat or unwashed vegetables. Once ingested, T. gondii can make a home for itself inside the brain and muscle tissues, protected inside cysts that are resistant to attacks by the host’s immune system. Some studies have linked infection by this parasite with a variety of mental health and brain problems, including schizophrenia, neurosis and brain cancer. But scientists aren’t clear on whether the parasite contributes to these problems or is a mere side effect. Someone with schizophrenia, for example, might struggle to keep up good hygiene, meaning the mental disorder could increase the risk for infection. The new study linking suicide and T. gondii has the same limitation. Researchers can’t say for sure whether the parasite somehow drives people to suicide. But in women with infections, they found, the risk of an attempt is 1.5 times greater than in women without. “We can’t say with certainty that T. gondii caused the women to try to kill themselves, but we did find a predictive association between the infection and suicide attempts later in life that warrants additional studies,” lead researcher Teodor Postolache, a psychiatrist at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, said in a statement. “We plan to continue our research into this possible connection.” T. gondii infection is likely not a random event, and it is conceivable that the results could be alternatively explained by people with psychiatric disturbances having a higher risk of becoming T. gondii infected prior to contact with the health system,” he said. If the parasite is found to be a cause, the next mystery to unravel will be how, Postolache said. It could be that the parasite acts directly on the brain in a way that promotes mental illness. Or perhaps it triggers the immune system to attack the brain somehow. Either way, he said, infection by T. gondii isn’t necessarily a mark of doom. For one thing, even with a 26 percent infection rate, the number of women in the study who attempted suicide was very small. For those who may be at risk, there may be treatments. “If we can identify a causal relationship, we may be able to predict those at increased risk for attempting suicide and find ways to intervene,” Postolache said. A buxom bandit is on the run after holding up a petrol station on Queensland’s Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning. However, it’s likely that she won’t evade capture for long. The curvaceous blonde, who is believed to be in her 20s, made a series of schoolgirl blunders. Perhaps believing her ample assets would divert attention, her biggest mistake – which even the most amateur hold-up artist might have thought of – was failing to hide her face. She did remember to wear a glove to stop her hands from leaving fingerprint traces on anything she touched – but she put it on the wrong hand. The gloved hand clutched a knife, which she then took away with her after the robbery. Her tan was also a giveaway – if police eventually arrest her a study of her breasts (presumably by a policewoman) would help them in their line of inquiry, so to speak. She made no attempt to hide her hair style, either. Unless she decides to cut off those long locks they will help police compare a suspect with the woman captured on the security cameras at the Arundel filling station. No one was hurt in the robbery. But while the mistakes of the bungling bandit might cause some amusement, police weren’t smiling today. ‘There were a number of serious threats to harm the attendant and she fled with a small amount of money,’ a spokesman for Queensland police told Channel Nine news. Police said the store employee fought back by throwing items from the shelves at the woman as she fled outside, where a man was waiting for her in a four wheel drive car. It sped off into the night, but the woman left behind so many clues to her identity that police are hoping for an early arrest.

ATL rapper Yung Joc is denying allegations that he played a role in the robbery of his own studio. As we previously reported, Joc’s northwest Atlanta recording studio was robbed earlier this month. Joc’s brother and his brother’s girlfriend were in the studio at the time of the robbery and were bound with duct tape and forced into a bathroom while the thieves robbed the studio of over $70,000 of equipment. In an interview with WSB-TV, Joc denied rumors that he played a role in the robbery in order to collect insurance. Joc stated that he was actually in the process of choosing an insurance provider at the time of the robbery. He also said he lost songs that he had recorded with artists like Lil Wayne , Jazmine Sullivan and Pitbull.
