Is Shaq Involved In Sex Tape Robbery?

Continue reading here:

Shaquille O’ Neal just retired from basketball after 19 seasons, but the famous center isn’t out the “game” yet. Shaq is allegedly involved in “a criminal case in which 7 gang members allegedly kidnapped, beat up and robbed a man who claimed to have a tape showing Shaq having sex with other women while he was married to Shaunie.” A member of the Main Street Mafia Crip gang tells TMZ.com that Shaq and a band of six entered a man’s home to search for the tape allegedly owned by Robert Ross. TMZ.com reports: Once there, Rowles allegedly pistol whipped Ross and demanded that he turn over the sex tape. Ross said he would get the tape and bring it back to them. The seven men then allegedly took Ross’ Rolex, diamond chain and earrings, along with $15,000 in cash — then let Ross go. The seven men have been arrested and charged with robbery, kidnapping and other crimes. They are currently in the middle of a preliminary hearing and being held in jail. We’ve learned LAPD detectives interviewed Shaq to determine what, if any, involvement he had in the alleged crimes. When the case file went to the D.A. Shaq was not listed as a suspect. Now here’s the interesting backstory. Ross has a history with Shaq. Shaq and his business manager, Mark Stevens, have a record label and allegedly told Ross they would give him a 50% cut in any artists he brought to them. Ross claims he delivered Ray J to Shaq but got cut out of the deal. 3-Teens Charged In Cragslist Set Up Killing: Suspect’s Mom “My Baby Isn’t Violent!!” [Video]

An 18-year-old college student died from a bullet to his chest as he chased three teens who robbed him and his girlfriend when he was buying a computer advertised on Craigslist for $600, a prosecutor said Friday. Details of the killing emerged at an arraignment for three 17-year-old males who were charged as adults with murder, robbery and shooting at an occupied vehicle. Superior Court Judge Joseph Brannigan entered not guilty pleas on their behalf and set bail at $5 million each — $3 million higher than the amount sought by prosecutors. Prosecutors have said Garrett Berki died late Wednesday after he and his girlfriend met suspects Rashon Abernathy, Seandell Jones and Shaquille Jordan in San Diego to buy an Apple MacBook Pro. One teen pulled a gun and robbed the couple of cash and their cell phones, authorities said. A car chase followed, with Berki pursuing the assailants on a freeway and city streets before he was shot as he tried to box them in on a dead-end street, prosecutor Kristian Trocha told reporters. Abernathy is suspected of firing a single shot from the back seat, shattering Berki’s windshield, Trocha said. Police said Berki, a San Diego community college student, was trying to read his assailants’ license plate during the pursuit. Officers found him slumped over the steering wheel, and he died less than an hour later at a hospital. All three suspects were arrested within minutes of the shooting, hiding in back yards after crashing their car in a cul-de-sac about two blocks from the shooting scene, authorities said. Patricia Dykes, Jordan’s mother, told reporters her son was “hurting” because someone got killed. She said he was a straight-A student preparing to graduate from high school. She emphasized that he was not accused of pulling the trigger. “He told me he’s going to write a letter to the (victim’s) family that he’s sorry for whatever happened, but that he didn’t … do anything violent to anyone,” Dykes said. Shearese Johnson, the mother of Jones, said her son didn’t kill anyone and called the charges unfair. Jones is suspected of being the getaway driver after the robbery. “All I’m going to say is I love my son, and I’m here, and this just isn’t fair,” Johnson said. If convicted, the three teens could face maximum sentences of life in prison, prosecutors said. Trocha told reporters all three were equally responsible for the death, even though Abernathy is the only one accused of firing a gun. “All of them participated in the robbery. The murder was part of this robbery in trying to escape,” Trocha said. “It’s as if they pulled the trigger themselves.” Trocha said all three defendants were gang members — a claim met with skepticism by the two mothers. Kevin Milmoe, a public defender, said Abernathy and Jordan had no criminal record. The judge said he would appoint a public defender for each of the three teens. Source 1 Source 2

In Dumbazz Criminal News: Thief Attempting To Get Away With Sticking Up “Shinki Nail Salon” Caught Thanks To GPS

Man, this Kevin Cheeks character is a dumb motherf*cka: A dim-witted robber was quickly captured after fleeing in a distinctive getaway vehicle — his GPS-equipped ambulette that helped cops track him down. Repeat offender Kevin Cheeks — who was convicted yesterday in Queens Supreme Court — had been employed by the Sigma Transportation Inc. for two months when he used his day off to hold up the Shinki Nail Salon in Oakland Gardens, Queens, in December 2009. Pretending he had a gun in his pocket, Cheeks herded four customers and three employees into the back of the store. Then he stole the group’s valuables, as well as $300 from the cash register, according to testimony at his weeklong trial. Before making his getaway, the anything-but-master criminal realized he’d left his cellphone behind and went back for it. That gave an employee the chance to sneak out and report the robbery to patrons in a nearby diner. Moments later, Cheeks walked past the diner, where the employee saw him jump into a van marked “Sigma ambulette number 16.” By the time police arrived, Cheeks had sped off. But the officers knew something the hapless crook apparently had forgotten — ambulettes often are equipped with GPS tracking devices. Tracking records showed his van had been in the vicinity of the salon at the time of the robbery. It then traveled first to The Bronx and then to Cheeks’ home in South Ozone Park, before returning to the company garage in West Hempstead, LI, where Cheeks was busted. Cheeks was also caught on the store’s surveillance video wearing the same clothes found in his home. Jurors took only two hours to convict him. At sentencing next month, he faces up to 20 years in prison. “The defendant will have a long time behind bars to ponder how a simple GPS vehicle-tracking device and a few mouse clicks led to his arrest and conviction,” said DA Richard Brown. Defense lawyer Russell Rothenberg refused to comment. Wow. How dumb can you really be though??? This guy deserves to be locked up…not only for trying to stick up a nail salon and using “Sigma ambulette number 16″ as a getaway car, but for being so god-awfully STUPID!!! Source
