As crazy as this sounds, Amber Portwood should take some cues from Lindsay Lohan . The Teen Mom train wreck could end up in prison for up to two YEARS after she allegedly violated the terms of her probation – all of them, and repeatedly. Similar to LiLo, her probation includes ONEROUS tasks such as staying sober in public and not beating up people. Clearly too much to juggle all at once. Amber Portwood’s probation officer claims she committed these violations : Failure to obtain a GED. Failure to pay probation fees. Failure to set up a $10,000 college fund for her baby daughter. Failure to complete six months of anger control evaluation and classes. Our personal favorite: Failure to behave well in society. Presumably this includes drinking too much and hitting a person at a restaurant last month. The reason this is all a big deal is that Amber Portwood was given two years in jail after being convicted of beating the crap out of baby daddy Gary Shirley, however Amber’s sentence was suspended on the condition that she complete probation. Yeah. Amber’s due back in court for a hearing in January, when she’ll have the opportunity to explain herself. She may want to give Shawn Holley a call, STAT.

It’s difficult to get Robert Pattinson to talk about Kristen Stewart in detail, even though the actress finally came out and admitted the two were dating earlier this year. But get Pattinson out of the country, apparently, and all hesitance goes away. Just read what he told Brazilian magazine Capricho in a recent interview. “She’s ambitious,” Rob said of his costar on screen and in real life. “I like that obsessive determination she has to be herself. She’s amazing. She takes the things she says too seriously, kind of like the opposite of me.” And how did Pattinson think Stewart looked in her Breaking Dawn wedding dress? Like “a sexy goddess. She looked amazing.” AWWWW, no wonder these two just got married ! (NOT!)
‘Twilight’ stars, plus Daniel Radcliffe, Anne Hathaway and others, make ‘Hollywood’s Best Actors for the Buck’ list. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images It wasn’t too long ago that Forbes declared Eddie Murphy and Drew Barrymore box-office poison, but there’s better news this week for actors like Kristen Stewart , Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe , just to name a few. The young Hollywood heavyweights top the money magazine’s Hollywood’s Best Actors for the Buck list of stars, which weighs the actors’ salaries against their movies’ box-office return on investment. With three weeks at the top of the box office for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” it’s no surprise that the “Twilight” stars have landed on the list. Stewart, whose films earn $55.83 for every $1 she’s paid according to Forbes, sits at the top of the list. Pattinson sits at #3 because, the magazine argues, “he has branched out more, so only one of his ‘Twilight’ films is eligible for this list.” “Eclipse” was the only “Twilight” film the magazine counted for Pattinson, alongside films like “Water for Elephants” and “Remember Me.” His films earn $39.43 for every $1 he’s paid. Anne Hathaway sits in between the two “Twilight” stars at #2. For every $1 she’s paid, her films, including “Alice in Wonderland,” earn back $45.67. “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe ranks at #4 on the list. For every $1 he’s paid, his films earn back $34.24. Rounding out the top five is “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf. His films earn back $29.40 for every $1 he makes. Rounding out the top 10 are “Iron Man” and “Sherlock Holmes” star Robert Downey Jr. ($18.74 for every $1), Matt Damon ($15.83 for every $1), Cate Blanchett ($15.17 for every $10), Meryl Streep ($13.54 for every $10) and “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp ($12.48 for every $1). So maybe stocking that $799 replica of Bella Swan’s wedding dress from Breaking Dawn — Part 1 in your bridal store was not a great idea. TMZ reports that scheming single Twi-hards have been faking engagements just to score fittings with Kristen Stewart’s knock-off gown making it “extremely difficult to conduct business” in Alfred Angelo bridal boutiques everywhere. Hey, at least they’re not recreating the birth scene! [ TMZ ]
Even though you may not immediately recognize the name Warwick Davis, you are familiar with his work. That’s because the English actor has been involved with two of the most storied franchises in all of film history — the first being Star Wars , where Davis made his onscreen debut as Wicket in Return of the Jedi at the tender age of 13. Nearly three decades (and title roles in Willow and the six-part Leprechaun series) later, Davis helps close the door on the Harry Potter franchise, where he has played Hogwarts charms master Professor Flitwick and Gringotts goblin Griphook for 10 years.
Over at Entertainment Weekly, David Fincher plays coy joking about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ‘s Oscar chances. [Some spoilers follow, though they’ll come as no surprise to those familiar with Stieg Larsson’s book or Niels Arden Oplev’s 2009 film adaptation.] How likely is is that the Academy will be so turned off by the extremes seen in Fincher’s film that they’d pass it over come nomination day?
The Muppets are legendary TV and film characters, but there’s something about Sesame Street ‘s giggliest resident, Elmo, that makes small children perk up. Constance Marks, the director of the new documentary Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey , put Elmo’s appeal this way: “Kids sit up, pay attention, and turn on. There’s that bright red fur and adorable bulgy eyes, but it’s the soul of the puppeteer that people are responding to. It’s an amazing gift.”
