Chris Brown: Rihanna "Most Beautiful Girl in the World," Couple "Really Happy"

Chris Brown admits that although he and Rihanna have been through a lot over the years, they are really happy together now – oh, and she’s beautiful. Surprisingly, Brown has opened up about the relationship twice in the past week. First, he spoke to The Mirror (UK) about the night he attacked her in 2009. The R&B star called that “the deepest regret of my life , the biggest mistake” but added that she’s forgiven him, and that he “worked hard for it.” He also talked to the New York Post ‘s Page Six at Elton John’s Oscar party, saying, “I’m sad she couldn’t be here tonight; she is rehearsing for her tour.” “We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world.” Love ’em, hate ’em or somewhere in between, these two are leaving no doubts as to where things stand – regardless of any blowback they may get. Rihanna was recently featured on the cover of Rolling Stone and admitted that being with Brown fulfills her, even if the media can’t accept the relationship. “I decided it was more important for me to be happy, and I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake .” “After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash,” the singer admits. “I can handle it.” Rihanna and Chris Brown rekindled their romance late last year, but their public display of affection at the Grammys marked a turning point this month. What do you think of the couple being back on again? Tell us below!   Good for them! Love Rihanna and Chris together! I’m skeptical, but it’s their decision. Pathetic and just wrong! View Poll »

Chris Brown on Rihanna Interview: All Good!

Rihanna knew she’d be grilled about Chris Brown during her new interview with Rolling Stone, and he was reportedly both aware of this and supportive. According to insiders, she told him about the sit-down before it was published. “He already knew Rihanna was going to talk about their relationship before she even did the interview,” a source said. “It’s not like he was blindsided at all. “They already talked about that days ago. He already knew what to expect.” “You already know how Rihanna feels about Chris by now; she says it time and time again all the time. He feels the exact same way about her.” Brown wants to move on from the past, though, and focus on the present: “He good though, he don’t want to think about s**t that happened years ago. He’s done talking about that. He’s past it and is a better man because of it.” Rihanna was remarkably candid with RS, telling the magazine that even if you think Chris is a “monster,” he’s actually a fun guy who she loves and adores. The “Nobody’s Business” singer realizes there will be backlash, but says it’s her mistake to make , and wants the world to know one very important thing: Chris Brown really is a changed man! The Unapologetic singer, 24, concedes that her boyfriend “does not have the luxury of f*%king up” again, but that he has also “paid his dues.” “He’s not the monster everybody thinks. He’s a good person, he has a fantastic heart. He’s giving and loving and fun to be around,” she gushes. “That’s what I love about him. He always makes me laugh.” “All I want to do is laugh, and that’s really what I do with him.” That and post Chris Brown shirtless pics on Twitter. Obviously. Have you lost respect for Rihanna for taking Chris back?   Yes. She’s a bad role model setting a terrible example. No. I respect her more because she lives her own life! My opinion has not changed. So Sad: Families Of Jovan Belcher And Kassandra Perkins Are Battling Over Custody Of Baby Zoey

Apparently money may be a big factor . Via NewsOne : More than a month after Kansas City Chiefs player Jovan Belcher shot and killed girlfriend Kassandra Perkins, before killing himself at Arrowhead Stadium, the families of the couple’s daughter are engaged in a fierce custody battle… Currently, four-month-old Zoey Belcher is living with her maternal relatives in Texas, according to a lawyer for Cheryl Shepherd, Belcher’s mother. Two weeks prior to the murder-suicide, Shepherd had moved in with her son’s family. She also received custody of Zoey shortly after the shooting, and filed a legal petition to be named her granddaughter’s guardian and conservator of her estate in Jackson County Probate Court Dec. 14. However, Zoey is no longer in her paternal grandmother’s care, according to Gretchen M. Gold, Shepherd’s lawyer. “Cheryl agreed to temporarily allow the maternal relatives (to) take Zoey to Texas for her mother’s funeral,” Gold wrote in an e-mail to a probate commissioner. But Zoey has yet to be returned to her paternal family side. “The maternal relatives have now ceased communicating with Cheryl Shepherd and have refused to return her calls or return the child to her care.” That is because Zoey’s maternal grandparents have filed a lawsuit seeking temporary custody, the girl’s relocation to Tarrant County, Texas and a guardian ad litem for her best interests. The hearing for that case will take place Jan. 22. Gold says that if the hearing does occur, Shepherd will be present and ready to fight. “We intend to fight the matter in Texas on Jan. 22 if that hearing takes place,” she wrote. According to the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, Zoey’s legal guardian or estate is set to receive over $1,000,000. This includes $108,000 per year over the next four years. The fifth year would garner $48,000; $52,000 would continue coming in each year until she becomes 18. Should Zoey attend college, she would continue receiving that amount until she turns 23. Zoey could also stand to receive additional financial support from a trust by the Kansas City Chiefs and public contributions. Hopefully both families can work things out. Images via Instagram

Dirty Bolitics: U.S. Government Drops Criminal Charges Against Shady Druglord-Laundering HSBC Bank That Admitted To Funding Million Dollar Mexican Drug Cartels

Wooooooow Government Declines To Press Criminal Charges Against HSBC Bank Following Admission Of Money Laundering To Drug Cartels Think the alleged U.S. “war on drugs” applies just as much to corrupt corporations that make millions as it does to everyday piff-puffers? Well, you might want to think again. A recent settlement to the tune of $1.9 million between the U.S. Assistant Attorney General and big ballin’ financial giant HSBC has more than a few fans of that ooooo-wee giving the government a mean side-eye. via Rolling Stone If you’ve ever been arrested on a drug charge, if you’ve ever spent even a day in jail for having a stem of marijuana in your pocket or “drug paraphernalia” in your gym bag, Assistant Attorney General and longtime Bill Clinton pal Lanny Breuer has a message for you: Bite me. Breuer this week signed off on a settlement deal with the British banking giant HSBC that is the ultimate insult to every ordinary person who’s ever had his life altered by a narcotics charge. Despite the fact that HSBC admitted to laundering billions of dollars for Colombian and Mexican drug cartels (among others) and violating a host of important banking laws (from the Bank Secrecy Act to the Trading With the Enemy Act), Breuer and his Justice Department elected not to pursue criminal prosecutions of the bank, opting instead for a “record” financial settlement of $1.9 billion, which as one analyst noted is about five weeks of income for the bank. The banks’ laundering transactions were so brazen that the NSA probably could have spotted them from space. Breuer admitted that drug dealers would sometimes come to HSBC’s Mexican branches and “deposit hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, in a single day, into a single account, using boxes designed to fit the precise dimensions of the teller windows.” This is a shady azz situation if we’ve ever heard of it. People get popped and sent to drop the soap everyday for wayyyyy less than what this money-hungry company managed to pull off AND admit to….and they barely get a slap on the wrist?? That’s that isht we don’t like!
