Daniel Craig Hints At 007 Exit, While Javier Bardem Turned Down Bond

Ahead of Skyfall ‘s theatrical roll out last month in the U.K. and this week’s release in the U.S., Bond star Daniel Craig has said he’s committed to two more 007. But in a recent interview, Craig held out the possibility he is holding out the possibility of departing the role as the debonaire British operative. The film screened in NYC and L.A. last night to packed crowds. The Secret Screening of the latest Bond packed Grauman’s Chinese Theater Wednesday night at AFI Fest . “I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it,” Craig told Rolling Stone . “But they won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more, but let’s see how this one does, because business is business and if the shit goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with.” [ Related: ‘Skyfall’ Premiere Gallery – 007 Mingles With Royalty On The Red Carpet ] It is not quite clear whether his descriptives were said ahead of Skyfall ‘s theatrical release in the U.K. and other territories. The latest installment is one of the most successful in the 50 year-old franchise. The Sam Mendes-directed film also starring Judi Dench and Javier Bardem is expected to pass the $400 million mark internationally and that does not include the U.S. where it’s tracking to have a robust debut. Javier Bardem, who is winning accolades for his role in the latest Bond film playing villain Raoul Silva, told Cinema Blend that he was once offered to play 007, telling the publication, “Years ago, I was. I don’t remember what movie it was for. But yeah, it was just not that time. I didn’t feel it was the time for me to do something like that. And also, I was doing something else, so I passed. This time, when I read it, I felt that it was very powerful material, and I wanted to join.” Bardem said that he doesn’t regret the pass because it gave him a chance to pursue other things, even if some of them weren’t always “beautifully executed.” Given the success of Skyfall , it is highly unlikely anyone will – err – foul Craig’s contract as 007 for at least two more features. But speculation, nevertheless, ratcheted up a couple weeks ago that Bond’s next manifestation may possibly take an ethnic change. Bond girl Naomie Harris recently hinted at the possible news, saying that the next 007 may be Idris Elba. If so, the star of The Wire and films Prometheus and Thor would become the first non-Caucasian James Bond in his 50 years. Harris hinted that Elba met with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli about the possibility. Skyfall had advanced screenings in L.A. and New York Wednesday night. The film packed in a full-house as AFI Fest’s “Secret Screening” at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Rumors swirled that perhaps some of the cast would make an appearance at the screening since they were in town doing press. The red carpet was seen getting a good vacuuming hours ahead of the screening and the AFI Fest Step and Repeat was in place, but as the 9:15 start-time neared, the photo backdrop was covered up and star-watchers were not gathering behind barricades as they’ve done nightly at the festival ahead of nightly Galas. They will likely return, however, for Thursday night’s Closing Night Gala, Lincoln [ Sources: Rolling Stone , Cinema Blend ]

Jessie Andrews, Adult Film Star, Films Music Video with Miley Cyrus

Jessie Andrews is making headlines tonight, but she’s doing so with her legs closed. The adult film star and reigning AVN Awards winner for Best Actress will actually star alongside Miley Cyrus in an upcoming video. How did that random association come about? Andrews is dating Israeli DJ Borgore, with whom Miley collaborated on the track ” Decisions .” So, naturally, both women appear in the song’s music video. Go behind the scenes of it here: Borgore Music Video: Behind the Scenes “She doesn’t want to be Hannah Montana anymore; she wants to be her own person,” Andrews told MTV of Miley’s steps toward adulthood over the past couple years. “The way she’s dressing, the hair, the music – everything is outside of the box. It didn’t really surprise me.” As for what fans can expect from the “Decisions” video? “That sh-t was crazy!” Miley told Rolling Stone last month. “[Borgore] walked into his hotel room, and it was people in the weirdest clothes you’ve ever seen. My fiancé [ Liam Hemsworth ] was dressed as a unicorn. We make out in the video, which is very funny. It’s just the most random group.” Ok, you got us. We can’t wait to watch it.

Shooter Jennings on John Mayer: KING Douche!

John Mayer is a douchebag. Everyone knows this. According to country music bigshot Shooter Jennings, he’s more than that. He’s “King Douche,” and the reasons for that are abundant. He writes on Twitter: “I love how the ‘neil young of our generation’ self-naming king douche grows his hair out + buys a place in Montana just to do [Rolling Stone] article.” “Claims he’s ‘done w hollywood game’ and has ‘roots’ and then immediately cuts hair, goes back to hollywood clubs + starts banging Katy Perry .” It’s true, he did return to his douche “roots” awfully quick. “And don’t anybody say he’s a great guitar player,” he adds. “Gary Clark Jr & [Lukas Nelson] wipes their asses with this dude. That’s enough, John Mayer.” Shooter, a powerful country music DJ and the son of the late Waylon Jennings, does not have any personal beef with Mayer that we’re aware of. Just felt like going off on him. We can sympathize. He later apologized … for $h!t talking. Not to Mayer specifically, but for flying off the handle after reading the narcissistic drivel in Rolling Stone .

Taylor Swift Covers Rolling Stone, Denies Kidnapping of Conor Kennedy

Taylor Swift covers the latest issue of Rolling Stone and makes something very clear in her feature: She never kidnapped boyfriend Connor Kennedy ! Responding to an odd story that alleged Swift missed her man so much that she flew him out of Nashville unannounced, Taylor tells the magazine: “You can’t kidnap a grown man! These are serious accusations, now! It’s an interesting way to spin something into a story. See, this is why I don’t read stuff.” This stuff also includes charges that Swift falls in love way too quickly and easily, to which she replies: The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks. It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I’ll talk myself out of it.” This issue of Rolling Stone hits newsstands on Friday. In the meantime, take a listen to Swift’s new single, ” I Knew You Were Trouble .”

GALLERY: Unseen Beatles Footage From Magical Mystery Tour Webcast On The Space’s Arena Hotel

If you thought that the Beatles have been so pored over that there couldn’t possibly be anything new to see, hear or read about them, guess again.  The former Fab Four’s business concern, Apple Corps has granted the BBC TV arts series  Arena  unseen footage of the band.  Arena has cut this footage to make a short for its  Arena Hotel  online project with the digital-arts website The Space.  Arena Hotel  debuted the short exclusively on Tuesday.  A spokesman for The Space says the footage was shot during the making of a documentary about the Beatles 1967  Magical Mystery Tour  film and features the band on “a coach trip to a classic British  fish-and-chip shop, en route to Newquay, the final destination of the tour.”  You can watch it  here , but also be sure to check out Movieline’s gallery of stills from the footage , along with shots of the band performing “I Am The Walrus” and “Your Mother Should Know.”  (Really, she should.)    Magical Mystery Tour  was first broadcast by the Beeb on Boxing Day in 1967.  At the time, the trippy film confused stodgy audiences and critics, but appreciation of the groundbreaking production has appreciated considerably since then. (That said,   Magical Mystery Tour  has been broadcast only one other time,on BBC Two in 1979.) The music to the film got a much better reception (and a Grammy nomination), although Rolling Stone magazine’s review of the album in January 1968 consisted of a single quote from John Lennon:  “There are only about 100 people in the world who understand our music.” MOVIELINE GALLERY:  UNSEEN ‘MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR’ ERA PHOTOS OF THE BEATLES Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Money Mitt’s Bailout Looks A Lil Shady To Us

If you didn’t believe it before..we’ve got proof now. Mitt …you’ve got some explaining to do. To uncover the true story behind the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s $10 million bailout of Mitt Romney and Bain & Company, Rolling Stone made a Freedom of Information Act request that forced the FDIC to release more than 500 of pages of records. (The government, which was owed more than $30 million in all, had become a creditor to Bain when it took over the failed Bank of New England in early 1991.) Prior to releasing the documents, the FDIC allowed Bain & Company to scour and redact the records. Dozens of pages were blacked out entirely, on Bain’s claim that these nearly two-decade-old records contain secret “commercial or financial information.” Most pages looked something like the image at left. After Romney took over and a ‘recovery’ was put in action…it began to fail. Bain’s revenues continued to decline, and the company was soon bleeding red ink. By March 1992 — barely nine months after the initial restructuring — Romney was hitting up the government and Bain’s other creditors for a bailout, asking that the firm be allowed to repay its debts at just 35 cents on the dollar. The documents reveal that Romney had perverse leverage: The terms of the 1991 deal gave Bain the authority to reward its executives with massive bonuses, regardless of performance. If creditors refused to allow the firm to pay down its debt at a fraction of the legal value, in other words, Romney could begin to loot the firm’s cash reserves by doling out unmerited bonus pay. Mitt…it’s time for you to come forward, release your taxes, and show us all…for once, that you’re as shady as they come. Source Images via WENN
