Prescription drugs were present at the scene of Whitney Houston’s tragic death, and it’s possible the star drowned in the bathtub, according to reports. No illegal drugs have been found in the hotel room where a member of the legendary singer’s entourage found Whitney Houston dead on Saturday. When EMTs arrived, Whitney’s body was already removed from the bathtub. It will take an autopsy to determine if she overdosed, drowned or died from some other cause. The medical examination is scheduled to take place imminently. Beverly Hills police officers found various pill bottles in Houston’s room at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, where she died yesterday at the age of 48. There was no evidence that Whitney was drinking alcohol in the room. Houston’s body was removed from the room on a gurney and sent to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the official medical cause of death. Paramedics performed CPR on the singer when alerted to her unresponsiveness but it did not work. She was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. Our sources say there were no obvious signs of foul play, but a full investigation is ongoing. Whitney’s body was ID’ed by family and friends. [Photo: WENN.com]

Last night was another episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Yes, there were a lot of events that happened on this episode i.e. Kim and Kroy deciding whether to have their unborn son circumcised, Cynthia and Peter finally confronting Cynthia’s sister about her actions at their wedding, Nene confessing that she and Greg may have “rekindled” their old flame (if you know what I mean) and Sheree, Phaedra and Phaedra’s “big ol donky booty” (as she likes to call it) confronting the “construction” worker about not finishing Sheree’s house. Of all these events, I definitely think Kandi’s 35 th birthday party overshadowed everything in this episode. First, lets talk about Lawrence’s outfit for the night. I wasn’t sure whether to applaud him for his originality and bravery or be afraid. But I will say that he definitely stole the attention when he walked in the room, and who doesn’t want to have a gay best friend at a birthday party? Work it! Aside from Lawrence’s outfit, everything seemed to run smoothly until Nene walked into the party. Sheree and Phaedra were on one side of the room while Nene and Cynthia stayed on the other side with Kandi in the middle attempting to entertain both parties. Both groups kept going on and on about how they weren’t worried about what the other was doing and how they’re both so over the situation. And the drama continues… After a lot of trash talking, drinks and laughs between the girls, it was time for the main event: Phaedra’s gift to Kandi or as Kandi called it, “The Infamous Ridickulous” If you remember last season, Phaedra mentioned that she knew a male stripper that was rather “talented” and could actually pleasure himself. Well, in this episode, we finally got to see Ridickulous in action and I will admit, I was a little afraid and agreed with Lawrence when he said, “I’m not sure if that was a blessing or a curse!” Phaedra’s birthday present definitely brought a lot of life and laughs to the party, but judging the reaction of Kandi’s mother, Nene and Cynthia, I couldn’t help but to think that having a male stripper whip out his “male parts”, twirl it around like a towel and then plop it in Kandi’s drink was a little gross and enough to make you want to vomit. The Real Housewives of Atlanta had another party this week, this time for Kandi’s 35th birthday. Unfortunately, a surprise guest upsets Momma and THG is here to take you through all the drama in our +/- recap! First we get to recap last week’s drama when Peter and Apollo nearly came to blows at Kim’s baby shower . Kim’s ticked and rightfully so. Next time she’ll remember to “keep the ex-cons and a$$holes off the guest list.” But Phaedra steps up and earns a big Plus 10 showing up to Kim’s with a gift basket and an apology. She may not have been able to stop the men at the time but at least she did the right thing coming forward and saying she was sorry. Neither Cynthia or Peter bothered. Heck, they were five hours late and didn’t even send a gift. Minus 15 because that’s just beyond rude. Speaking of Cynthia, try as she might to mend fences they just seem to burn. She calls her sister over to talk to Peter about the incident at her wedding a year ago. Who could have guessed this wouldn’t go well? Minus 10 . You can’t force people to make up and nothing got accomplished here except for dredging up bad memories that won’t soon be forgotten. Later, Cynthia and her sister argue about Peter’s new bushiness venture. Unfortunately, Cynthia doesn’t know her sister is right. Bar One is in financial trouble before it’s even begun and Peter’s going to look to his wife to bail him out. Minus 9 because that’s just going to widen the divide between Cynthia, Peter and her family. Kim’s getting prepared for the big event. No, not another party. She talks to Phaedra about what it was like when she had her son. Phaedra says she had an epidural, morphine and was “crazy as a vampire in sunlight.” Plus 5 for being honest but let’s hope Kim has an easier time. Having had only girls, Kim’s concerned about having a boy and takes some lessons on diapering a circumcised baby. She’s nervous about what to do with a penis. Plus 7 to Kroy who already seems to be a pro with the diaper detail.

Since when does a baby shower include brawling house husbands? It looks like that’s the way they do things in Atlanta, or at least on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “Shower the Baby” gave Kim a baby shower to rival most wedding receptions and we’ll break down the drama in The Hollywood Gossip’s weekly +/- review. But first we have to sift through the boring stuff … Looks like Sheree’s building herself a new McMansion but she’s being practical. It will only have the necessities: a ballroom, a spa area, a space for the DJ and a theater. Just the basics. Plus 8 because she’s planned ahead. There’s enough room to expand later if 8,000 square feet becomes too cramped. NeNe and estranged husband Gregg have a quick and awkward chat when he comes to pick up their son. NeNe wants to know if he’s dating anyone. He says no but then she won’t answer the same question. Minus 5 . If you’re going to ask the question, expect to have to answer it. Once he’s gone, NeNe admits she doesn’t think she can sign the divorce papers. Minus 7 . Well where does that leave them? They certainly don’t seem happy so will they continue to live in limbo or head back to a miserable marriage? Apollo’s on edge these days and even adorable little Aiden can’t seem to make it better. He got pulled over and roughed up by the cops. Sounds like it was all a case of mistaken identity and he was let go but that hasn’t stopped the gossip from spreading all over town. Unfortunately, his criminal record is something he’s always going to have to deal with. What I can’t handle are Phaedra’s sweatpants: hot pink with HIS printed across the butt. Girl, that’s just tacky. Minus 5 . Cynthia gets a visit from her daughter’s daddy, Peter and Plus 10 for everyone getting along so well but I have to wonder how long it will last. Peter just doesn’t seem the type who goes out of his way to get along with people. Which brings us to Kim’s baby shower. She says she wants to make the shower special for Kroy. Really? How many guys are that interested in baby showers? Of course this was no ordinary shower. Wasn’t Kim the one who said that Phaedra’s shower was over the top. Pot … meet kettle. Minus 8 . With 130 guests this baby shower rivaled most wedding receptions. But I’ve got to throw in a Plus 5 . I loved that cake. Prior to the shower we saw the entire family getting ready. How cute was Kroy doing the girls’ nails. Plus 10 . Just plain adorable. Overall, the baby shower is quite an event. Minus a mildly embarrassing incident where Kim’s father gives Phaedra a hard sell on his business (awkward), everything is gorgeous and classy. Plus 13 . That is until Cynthia and Peter show up. First off, they show up five hours late. Minus 11 . What was the point of coming at all and without a gift, no less? Had to agree with Phaedra on this one. “Were they looking for refreshments? Were they out of snacks at their house?” And it only gets worse from there. Turns out Peter trashed the ladies in a magazine interview. Minus 10 . Honestly, what man talks about his wife’s friends in an interview? One who knows that’s the only way he can grab the spotlight and more than willing to stir up trouble. Phaedra was the first to bring up the gorilla in the room and things went down hill from there. Peter walked in with a chip on his shoulder and Apollo looked like he was more than willing to knock it off. If Peter keeps poking that bear he might find it bites back and I don’t think he can take on Apollo. After some loud words and male posturing, it looks like Apollo walks away first. It may have been a lot of drama for a normal baby shower but the Housewives of Atlanta need to take a look at The Real Housewives of New Jersey if they want some real drama. Here, we had no cursing, table flipping, punches thrown, or children sent screaming from the room. Minus 15 because in comparison you can’t really call this one a brawl. Atlanta needs to step up their game. EPISODE TOTAL: -15 . SEASON TOTAL: +11 .

In an interview conducted shortly before he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, Dr. Conrad Murray says he doesn’t feel guilty about Michael Jackson dying. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” the cardiologist insists. The Today Show aired portions of an intense sit-down interview with Murray that was conducted before the guilty verdict was reached by a jury earlier this week. In it, he completely contradicts what he told police. Dr. Conrad Murray Documentary: Part 1 During the interview, Murray says he put Jackson to sleep that fateful day, then left the room to talk on the phone, because he didn’t want to wake Michael up. How courteous. Except MJ was on a hospital-grade anesthetic and shouldn’t have been unmonitored … and he told cops he only went to the can for two minutes.
