At least Fred Willard is able to laugh at himself. Appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon yesterday, a week after being arrested for allegedly having his pants down inside an adult movie theater in Los Angeles, the veteran comedian kicked off his interview with one question for the host: “What do you want to talk about first?” From there, the actor made a few more jokes (“It’s the last time I’m gonna listen to my wife when she says, ‘Why don’t you go out and see a movie?’”) before admitting he did stop by an “exotic” looking theater and it felt like “a trip down Alice in Wonderland and down the rabbit hole,” where he was the “only awake and sober and conscious” person in the theater. But seriously, folks. “It’s very embarrassing,” Willard said. “It’s embarrassing as hell! But let me say this: nothing happened. I did nothing wrong, everything’s being sorted out as we speak.” The actor has been fired from his gig at PBS, but is unlikely to face prosecution “I have great respect for the authorities,” Willard added. “I mean, when we need a policeman, God bless ‘em, they’re there. But, if you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, everything seems suspicious. “But it’s very embarrassing. Very painful. And I’m trying to laugh it off. Each has apologized for his/her actions and photos of the actress and director make it clear they were engaged in a game of tonsil hockey. But an exclusive Gossip Cop report backs up Stewart’s labeling of her dalliance as a ” momentary indiscretion ,” stating the star and her Snow White and the Huntsman director only “kissed passionately.” They NEVER HAD SEX, a source tells the site. This clearly doesn’t get either completely off the hook. But will the information be enough for fans to ease up a bit on Kristen? Will it mean Sanders remains with his wife and two children? And, most importantly to Twihards, will it cause Robert Pattinson to turn around and move back in?

But although it wouldn’t be difficult to imagine the pain this actor is in regardless, he actually expressed his take on infidelity in the April edition of Italian Vanity Fair . “There’s a thing I’ve never got, that is, why do people cheat?” Pattinson asked in the article. “I can understand the impulse, but not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long. This usually happens to people with children.” Sanders, of course, does have two children. But Stewart claims her dalliance with the director was a one-time thing, a ” momentary indiscretion .” “I’m not the casual-affair kind of guy,” Rob also told the magazine. “If I choose to be with someone it’s because I really want it. In fewer than 140 characters, the 2012 Olympic dreams of Voula Papachristou have been dashed. Greece’s triple-jump champion has actually been removed from her country’s national team just days prior to the Opening Ceremony in London because she posted the following Tweet on July 22: “With so many Africans in Greece .. At least the mosquitoes of West Nile .. will eat homemade food!” With backlash building and rebuke of this tasteless joke strong, Greece has announced that Papachristou will not compete at the Games due to “statements contrary to the values and ideas of the Olympic movement.” She has since issued her own statement/apology: I would like to express my heartfelt apologies for the unfortunate and tasteless joke I published on my personal Twitter account. I am very sorry and ashamed for the negative responses I triggered, since I never wanted to offend anyone, or to encroach human rights. My dream is connected to the Olympic Games and I could not possibly participate if I did not respect their values. Therefore, I could never believe in discrimination between human beings and races. I would like to apologize to all my friends and fellow athletes, who I may have insulted or shamed, the National Team, as well as the people and companies who support my athletic career. Moments after Kristen Stewart issued an apology for cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, the director of Snow White and the Huntsman has come out with a statement of his own. “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” Sanders tells People . “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.” Sanders, 41 is married to a model named Liberty Ross. She actually played the young Snow White’s mother in her husband’s first feature film and she’s the mother to his seven-year old daughter and five-year old son. Ross reacted to Sanders’ infidelity by removing a photo of herself and Stewart from her blog and by sending out a couple of incredulous Tweets before deleting her account.

‘I think the corruption of power would be the second one,’ director Rupert Sanders told MTV News of his sequel plans. By Fallon Prinzivalli Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: Universal Studios It’s time to re-saddle those horses and take up your armor again, fantasy fans. “Snow White and the Huntsman” is returning once more. Universal is moving forward with their plans to make a sequel to Rupert Sanders’ edgy adaptation of the classic fairy tale, following the film’s box-office debut with $56.3 million last weekend . Deadline New York reports that David Koepp is already working on the script, and now the studio is in talks with Sanders about returning to direct. In “Snow White and the Huntsman,” the princess ( Kristen Stewart ) is helplessly locked in a tower by Queen Ravenna until an opportune moment helps her escape. She journeys into the Dark Forest, where she meets the Huntsman ( Chris Hemsworth ), and together they fight the evil witch to win back their kingdom. When MTV News sat down with Sanders last month to discuss the film, he revealed his initial ideas for the sequel, saying Snow White’s newfound supremacy may lead to her downfall. “I think the corruption of power would be the second one. I think we’ve created this very chaste girl who’s got to this position and now she’s in this position of supreme power,” he said. “We wanted to be contemporary with the theme here and I think in the next film we’ll do the same. There’s so many examples of people corrupted by power. When we were talking about it, myself and [producer] Joe Roth, there were so many things happening in the newspapers of these very powerful men abusing that power in hotels and sports locker rooms. People who get powerful sometimes lose their bearings and abuse that power and that’s kind of an intoxicating theme.” While the story line certainly sounds interesting, when we spoke to Stewart at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards , she seemed skeptical. “Well, I’m not saying anything. Nothing at all,” she laughed. “Let’s undermine our entire lead character in the very second [film]. It’s like, ‘No, that’s my whole [thing].’ It would be so weird to [make her darker]. It would break me, which would probably be interesting to watch.” “But then we have to rebuild you, which is exciting,” co-star Hemsworth added. The actress, however, has nothing to fear yet. While Sanders is attracted to this character arc for the fairy-tale princess, he’s not positive that we’ll see her go rogue in the sequel. “I’m not sure whether that’s what the second film will be,” he said. “But I like that idea at the moment.
