Mel Gibson Will Possibly Pay A Hefty $15K Child Support

cometo Hollywood’s film director producer and screenwriter Mel Gibson will possibly be paying a hefty sum for child support for daughter Lucia, 5,  mothered by Oksana Grigorieva. Alimony payments might be out of the question wherein marriage were not made between the ex-couple, according to a family law specialist.  Even under California’s famous Marvin palimony laws for unmarried couples, American-Australian actor Gibson (also in the midst of divorce with Robyn, wife for 30 years) won’t pay alimony to Russian pianist Grigorieva. “This is not dissolution of marriage action. The mother would have rights to child support, which in the case of Mr. Gibson, will be very substantial,” says attorney Steven Knowles, who estimates support of $12,000 to $15,000 a month. “He is what we call a high-income earner, and there is a high-income earner stipulation that says they must pay any amount reasonably necessary for the support of the child.” “Merely living together and having a child does not give the mother any rights to property and certainly no spousal support,” says Knowles, who’s not involved in the Gibson action. Russian Judge Who Convicted Neo-Nazis is Murdered

Yesterday, a Russian judge who had tried high-profile racist murder cases was shot dead in the stairwell of his home. Eduard Chuvashov had sentenced a group of ultra-nationalists, mostly teenage skinheads, to up to 23 years in jail for the murders of migrant workers from Central Asia. Chuvashov had faced threats on several radical websites, and authorities believe his killing is most likely related to the work he did. Three years ago, I went to Russia looking for the source of viral videos I had seen on the Internet showing neo-Nazi skinheads kicking and beating people in the streets with no apparent provocation. In the Vanguard documentary “From Russia With Hate,” I reported the attacks were coming almost daily in Russian cities. I was in Moscow on Hitler's birthday, April 20, and found foreign students confined to their dorms because nationalist fervor surrounding the anniversary was so high it wasn't safe for dark-skinned people to go outside. I filmed ultra nationalist politicians preaching hatred to crowds of disenfranchised youth in Moscow, and I interviewed a member of parliament who openly espoused using violence to terrify immigrants from former Soviet territories in the Caucuses and Central Asia. I also visited a secret, military-style training camp, where we watched neo-Nazis crawl through fire learning to become guerilla fighters. It was there I met the creator of many of the Internet attack videos, who proudly showed me his “propaganda films” of youth gangs setting upon and bashing nonwhites to terrorize the ethnic immigrant community. Not long after my visit, one of the leaders I interviewed was arrested and jailed, and I wondered if the Putin government was finally cracking down on the ultra-nationalists. Honeysuckle Weeks is an inspired choice as Foyle’s� More sidekick, a clergyman’s daughter posted from the Women’s Royal Army Corps to serve as his driver, and she plays the part with an admirable period style. Foyle’s War opens in southern England in the year 1940 – which may seem a strangely remote period in which to place a new detective, but the setting turns out to be a means of adding moral and dramatic depth to the storylines. Here is the summary of the episode: Foyle’s War Season 7 Episode 1 – The Russian House It is July 1945 and, as Britain settles into peacetime, Foyle looks forward to retirement, while Samantha is working as a housekeeper. But the detective has to put his plans on hold when Sam’s employer, eminent artist Sir Leonard Spencer-Jones, is found dead. Suspicion initially falls on Niko, a young Russian PoW whom the victim had taken under his wing. Niko flees the Sussex coast and heads for a sanctuary in London, closely followed by Foyle, who has been sent to track him down by the War Office. But the investigation soon brings to light a conspiracy and an international cover-up which, if exposed, could bring down the British government. Steven Seagal is under siege, as a woman named Kayden Nguyen is out for justice following allegedly heinous acts committed by the actor. According to TMZ, Nguyen has sued Seagal. The charge: Trafficking women for sex. A 23-year-old former model, Kayden says she interviewed with Seagal in February 2009 for the position of executive assistant. The good news? She got the gig. The bad news? “Mr. Seagal had been keeping two young female Russian ‘Attendants’ on staff who were available for his sexual needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” she says in the lawsuit. Because one of these “Attendants” had recently quit, Kayden alleges she was expected to fulfill those duties. Specifically, Seagal treated her “as his sex toy,” Nguyen claims, going into detail about how he shoved his hands under her skirt and pants, and attempted to fondle her boobs. A case of alleged sex trafficking? Sounds like a case for Steven Seagal Lawman! Along with these allegations of sexual assault, Nguyen accuses the actor of forcing her to consume illegal pills.

47 Nations Join Nuclear Summit in Washington

Today marks the largest gathering of heads-of-state in the US since Franklin Roosevelt hosted a gathering during WWII. The topic? How to stop the spread of nuclear weapons. President Obama called it, “an indication of how deeply concerned everybody should be with the possibilities of nuclear traffic,” adding “I think at the end of this we're going to see some very specific, concrete actions that each nation is taking that will make the world a little bit safer.” There's already been some progress. Ukraine's President, Viktor Yanukovich, vowed to get rid of all of his country's highly enriched uranium within two years. This summit comes on the heals of the signing of a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) between Obama and Russian President Demetry Medvedev.
