Chalk up another entry in our rundown of unexpected dog friendships . The video above features a German Shepherd named Sammy who is being very protective of his new pal, a lobster who Sammy's fellow dog would like to eat for dinner. But not on Sammy's watch! Check out the funny footage to see Sammy play some impressive defense in honor of the lobster, only (we assume) for him to later be disappointed when his family intervenes. Because, we hate to break this to you, Sammy… but that lobster is most definitely on your humans' menu.
