I have to say, I don’t do posts on her too often, but whenever I do, Alexa Vega definitely impresses. Here she is at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival honoring Oprah Winfrey (because apparently just being a billionaire isn’t enough), and showing off some amazing cleavage in the process. Katy Perry was definitely feeling the holiday spirit on Christmas. As was her boyfriend John Mayer, Santa costume and all. Katy Perry and John Mayer spent the day at home with her parents in Santa Barbara, and the “Wide Awake” singer gifted her 30 million followers this gem of a photo. “Santa Baby” reads the caption. You may hurl on cue. It’s the most public display of affection yet for Katy, who has been dating the 35-year-old himbo crooner for about five months (including a brief August split). Could be the first of many, too. “They are seriously in love and exclusive,” a pal says of Perry’s first long-term romance since she and Russell Brand finalized their divorce this summer. “John is surprised at just how cool and smart she is, while John has proved he’s matured and learned from his mistakes … Katy is blown away.” Hopefully she made Santa’s nice list this year, otherwise this naughty fellow might deposit some sexually transmitted diseases in her proverbial stocking. In other Saint Nick Impostor news … a grey Santa outfit angered a guest at a Swedish spa and conference center Tuesday. Wrap your head around that.

Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston got engaged recently, and he did well in the ring department, as evidenced by their Santa Fe, N.M. sojourn Saturday. The actress, 43, was seen touching her fiance’s face, giving onlookers a glimpse at her giant ring . Follow the above link for a better look at Aniston’s rock, which we’ll sum up as far from small. This summer, a source close to the pair predicted a “destination wedding” for her big day. “Kind of like eloping with a few friends,” is sort of Jen’s thing, according to family friends: “There will be the feeling of a vacation, since that’s their favorite thing to do [together].” Theroux proposed to Aniston in August while he was celebrating his 41st birthday. It will be his first marriage, although he was in a relationship with Heidi Bivens for 14 years. Jen was previously married to Brad Pitt before he coupled up with Angelina Jolie. #ThugLife Rihanna Seen Wearing A Gold Grill Over Her Teeth It’s a shame Rihanna didn’t wear these to the VMAs, because A$AP Rocky would’ve definitely appreciated the gold grill look. The popstar hit her favorite restaurant in Santa Monica for dinner last night rocking a pair of gold grills with her new pixie cut. We’re not sure that dinner is the best time to wear grills, but Rih seemed to be really feeling them for the evening. Lindsay Lohan Lies to Police About Car Crash; No One Surprised

Lindsay Lohan lied to police Friday, and not just about her brakes failing . The hot mess initially told them she was NOT driving the Porsche that she totaled when she slammed into a semi on the Pacific Coast Highway north of L.A. As a result, her probation could be revoked … what else is new. When Lindsay was in the hospital getting checked out after the serious car accident , cops from the Santa Monica Police Department paid a visit. Lindsay told police she was a passenger in the Porsche and her assistant was driving. However, the assistant said that Lohan was behind the wheel. Police are writing up a report that will include Lindsay’s lie. It’s unclear why she would lie … but she could be screwed. This is significant because it’s a crime to provide false information to a police officer, especially if it impedes an active criminal investigation, and doing so could trigger a probation violation in her shoplifting case. That could send her back to jail … again. Several eyewitnesses at the scene say Lindsay and her assistant both got out on the passenger side, which means Lindsay had to climb over the console. Lohan appears to have concocted the lie almost immediately after impact. She was not ticketed in the wreck, that we know of, but time will tell if Lohan faces criminal charges for her obvious lies to the authorities. [Photo: WENN.com]

Santa Claus Becomes A Superhero?!

Up until the point I realized Santa and my mom had the same handwriting, I wanted to know about his back story. Where did Santa grow up? How did he get the job of being Santa? Does Santa have superpowers? Back then, I was never satisfied with the answers I was given. Author William Joyce felt the same way and is releasing a series of young adult fantasy novels surrounding the origins of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. Joyce’s novels have been developed into an animated feature length film called ‘Rise of the Guardians.’ The film finds the aforementioned characters banding together to stop The Boogeyman from turning children’s hopes and dreams into nightmares. The project will feature the voices of Alec Baldwin, Isla Fischer, Jude Law, Chris Pine, and Hugh Jackman . A script for the animated feature will be written by David Lindsay-Abaire . Peter Ramsay is slated to direct as well as executive produce alongside William Joyce and Guillermo Del Toro. ‘Rise of the Guardians’ is scheduled for release on November 21, 2012.
