Martin Bashir, left his MSNBC show after railing against Sarah Palin for her ignorant comment that compared the national debt to slavery. Check out what…
Martin, you got to watch what you say. Martin Bashir Resigns From MSNBC Before Martin told someone to take an isht in Sarah Palin’s mouth, he should have been warned to watch his. According to Mediaite: Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s**t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced in a statement Wednesday afternoon that he will be stepping down. Here’s the statement: After making an on-air apology, I asked for permission to take some additional time out around the Thanksgiving holiday. Upon further reflection, and after meeting with the President of MSNBC, I have tendered my resignation. It is my sincere hope that all of my colleagues, at this special network, will be allowed to focus on the issues that matter without the distraction of myself or my ill-judged comments. I deeply regret what was said, will endeavor to work hard at making constructive contributions in the future and will always have a deep appreciation for our viewers – who are the smartest, most compassionate and discerning of all television audiences. I would also wish to express deepest gratitude to my immediate colleagues, and our contributors, all of whom have given so much of themselves to our broadcast.’ MSNBC released Bashir’s statement, plus the following statement from MSNBC President Phil Griffin:“Martin Bashir resigned today, effective immediately. I understand his decision and I thank him for three great years with msnbc. Martin is a good man and respected colleague – we wish him only the best.” Maybe his comments were a little too much, but something needs to be done. The woman’s elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top.
Sarah Palin has no love for the father of her grandson Tripp. At all. Asked bt TMZ about Levi Johnston, the man who got Bristol Palin pregnant during the 2008 campaign, the phrase “deadbeat dad” escaped her lips in seconds. Check out the clip below and see Sarah’s disdain for yourself … Sarah Palin Hates Levi Johnston As you may remember from last week, Levi has filed legal documents asking for 50-50 custody of Tripp, now four, saying it’s in the kid’s best interest. Needless to say, Sarah and Bristol Palin do not concur. Levi is approximately $66,000 (!) behind in child support, which Bristol claims is the reason for his custody play – to get that amount lowered at all costs. The Alaskan also has a daughter with wife Sunny Oglesby, who he also got pregnant out of wedlock before making an honest woman out of her in 2012. Fertile, that Levi. Fertile and virile. In other Sarah Palin news, the former GOP political star recently compared the federal budget deficit and national debt to slavery. Is anyone at all surprised? Sarah Palin Likens Federal Debt to Slavery
Rick Ross and Sarah Palin have something in common. We don’t know why Ricky is so dumb. It’s not like this fat phuck cruised by in school on his good looks and never got a chance to learn anything. Porky phuckerz like him can’t get no kitty kat and stay with their nose in a book. Ya’ll forget. This was the same kat who went at 50 cent and got ethered because he said 50 gave him a look. We think Rick Ross needs Each One, Teach One.
Would you fight someone for calling your baby retarded?? Sarah Palin Beefs With Bill Maher After Calling Son Retarded Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blasted comedian Bill Maher on Twitter recently after learning of a slur he directed at her special needs son, Trig Palin. Via HuffPo reports: The Las Vegas Review-Journal relayed background Wednesday on the apparent incident from last Saturday, which saw former local TV personality Ron Futrell get escorted out of Maher’s show for criticizing the host’s decision to call the child “retarded.” Palin’s first tweet was of a Breitbart report on the same events that occurred, followed by two comments aimed directly at Maher. Maher doesn’t need to insult Palin’s child, she already did that by naming him “Trig”. Continue reading →
A judge has tossed out a defamation lawsuit against Bristol Palin brought by the man seen heckling her in West Hollywood last year – an incident which later aired on Life’s a Tripp . Bristol Palin Responds to Heckler With Gay Comment Stephen Hanks sued the reality star in June for defamation, invasion of right to privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and misappropriation of right of publicity. The court wasn’t buying it. Palin’s lawyer, John Tiemessen, says the suit was dismissed . Hanks famously ran into Bristol Palin at a West Hollywood bar and ripped her mother, Sarah Palin, and baby daddy, Levi Johnston. She then asked if he was gay. Parts of the exchange were caught on camera, and Hanks objected to clips of it that were used in promos for Life’s a Tripp , which briefly aired on Lifetime. A judge has ordered Hanks to cover Palin’s legal fees. The court victory is welcome news for the single mom, whose reality show was axed after less than a season, and who was voted off Dancing With the Stars … and who had to find out Levi Johnston and Sunny Oglesby married last weekend through the media like everyone else.
Julianne Moore won an Emmy for portraying Sarah Palin in HBO’s Game Change. That did not sit well with the former V.P. candidate’s daughter Bristol Palin . Why? “I don’t think she’s a good interpreter of my mom. I think my mom is way hotter than that,” she said. “I think she doesn’t have that accent. It’s kind of silly, but my mom’s awesome.” Sure she is. Do you agree with Bristol (who’s been receiving white powder and death threats in the mail) that Sarah’s hotter than Julianne? Tell us below, who’d you rather …
The results are in and Modern Family , Homeland , and Boardwalk Empire dominated at last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards . More Emmy nudes after the jump!
Are you f-ing kidding?? Somehow this bigot delegate got votes and now he’s one of many lawmakers trying to tell women what to do with their bodies. On Thursday, Virginia State Delegate Bob Marshall (R) spoke at a press conference against state funding for Planned Parenthood. He blasted the organization for supporting a women’s right to choose, saying that God punishes women who have had abortions by giving them disabled children: “The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children,” said Marshall, a Republican. “In the Old Testament, the first born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There’s a special punishment Christians would suggest.” Marshall is also fighting against health care reform, saying that “Obamacare” is trying to take “your soul.” Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has been pushing back against high-profile figures and entities who have been attacking people with disabilities. Will she speak out against someone in her own party? Sounds like his looney azz needs to work on his own soul and step down off of his soap box. Source Images via Facebook
Former Alaska Governor and V.P. nominee Sarah Palin will not speak at, or even attend, the Republican National Convention, she confirmed in a statement. “This year is a good opportunity for other voices to speak at the convention and I’m excited to hear them,” Palin, the star of the 2008 convention, said. “Everything I said at the 2008 convention about then-candidate (Barack) Obama still stands today,” the 48-year-old professional celebrity added. Palin’s apparent decision to steer clear of the convention marks a stark contrast from four years ago, when she took the presidential race by storm. Accepting the GOP Vice Presidential nomination, she electrified the party faithful and received widespread praise from previously skeptical pundits. That also turned out to be her high water mark, however, and her absence from this year’s event may indicate what a polarizing figure she’s become. Sources connected to both Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney’s camps said she backed out of the RNC altogether after not being offered a speaking slot. She said she supports Republican presidential candidate Romney and his running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan , but is focusing her efforts elsewhere. Big Republican names such as Chris Christie, Condoleezza Rice, John McCain, Marco Rubio and even Rick Santorum will speak at the convention. Romney will officially be nominated on August 30.
