Estelle Recalls Losing Her ‘V-Card,’ On ‘When I Was 17’

‘Looking back, it was nothing like I thought it would be,’ she says on upcoming episode, airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV. By Sara Waber Estelle on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV English R&B singer Estelle shares a very personal milestone in her life on this week’s episode of MTV’s “When I Was 17,” airing Saturday at 11a.m. ET/PT: She recalls losing her virginity, and it wasn’t exactly what she hoped for. “I didn’t have a boyfriend, per se,” she says in the episode, which also features Mike Posner and AnnaLynne McCord. “I definitely fancied a few guys. There was one particular guy that I fancied. He was cute, he was short, he had a gold tooth.” Like all good friends, Estelle’s mates blabbed to him. “My friends told him I fancied him, and then he knew where I lived, and he would just start hanging out outside my house,” the “American Boy” singer recalls. “So this guy was, like, my first full-out crush, all that good stuff.” Maybe she didn’t like his baggy jeans, but she was about to find out what’s underneath them. “Eventually, I lost my V-card. Looking back, it was nothing like I thought it would be. It was horrible.” Needless to say, Estelle and her mystery man didn’t have a fairy-tale ending. “We actually got along as friends, and then we did it and it was … ehh. And then we split up. “In hindsight I should have waited,” she added. “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Estelle, Mike Posner and AnnaLynne McCord — airs on Saturday at 11a.m ET/PT on MTV. Sean Kingston Wanted His Bro’s ‘Beautiful’ Girl, On ‘When I Was 17’

‘Beautiful Girls’ singer says he didn’t know the pretty lady was his big brother’s GF on Saturday’s episode. By Sara Waber Sean Kingston Photo: MTV Somebody call 911! Sean Kingston pulled a robbery on his big brother, he reveals on this week’s “When I Was 17.” According to the “Beautiful Girls” singer, though, he had no idea he was making moves on his brother’s girl! “I remember one time I tried to hit on my brother’s girlfriend,” Kingston says on the episode airing Saturday at 11a.m. ET/PT on MTV. “[I] didn’t even know it was his girlfriend. She must have been hotter than the sun in the south of Spain because Kingston was smitten as soon as he laid eyes on her. “She came over to the apartment and it was like 2 o’clock in the daytime,” the pop star recalls. “As soon as I opened the door I was like, ‘Man, she’s so beautiful.’ ” Kingston’s brother, unaware of his little bro’s charm, suspected nothing at first. “I left the two [of them] in the living room and then I went to go get some food,” he says. Kingston, of course, took advantage of the opportunity. “And that’s when I made my move,” Sean explains. “I just tried to hit on her. I was like, ‘How you doin’ sweetheart?’ You know, we were talking about different things. I was telling her what I was doing with the music thing and she was telling me she was trying to get into the modeling thing. So we had a great conversation.” Until they were interrupted: “I remember my brother coming around like, ‘Hey, what you doing, man? That’s my girlfriend, man.’ ” “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Sean Kingston and Mark Hoppus and Tiffani Thiessen — airs on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV. Tia And Tamera Mowry Had ‘No Friends,’ On ‘When I Was 17’

‘Having a show and going to school was horrible,’ twins say on next episode, which premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. By Lauren Kearney Tia and Tamera Mowry Photo: MTV It’s easy to assume that having a major television show while attending high school would make you the most popular kid in class. But for twins Tia and Tamera Mowry, stars of the ’90s sitcom “Sister, Sister,” it was a serious bummer to their social life. “Having a show and going to school was horrible. Really, really bad. We had no friends,” the twins say on the next episode of “When I Was 17,” premiering Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. The girls’ childhood friend Jessica blamed their lack of friends on their busy schedule. “They didn’t go to school all the time because they were working on the set, so I’m sure it was difficult for them to form friendships,” she explains. But the girls had a different side of the story. If anyone doesn’t remember, “Sister, Sister” was about twins who were separated at birth, run into each other in a department store and move in together with their adoptive mom and dad. “I can remember the kids picking on us. They would literally scream at us and say, ‘Your show sucks!’ ” Tamera recalls. Tia wasn’t about to take that lying down. “Then I would say, ‘Well, the checks don’t!’ ” she laughed. And who has the last laugh now? The twins do, with their current reality show, “Tia & Tamara,” bringing Style Network its highest ratings ever. Bet they wish they were your friends now, girls! “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Tia and Tamera Mowry, Jamie Foxx and Chris Bosh — premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. T.I.’s First Post-Prison Track Is ‘Hot,’ DJ Drama Promises

Tip’s friend and collaborator tells MTV News he’s ‘excited for the fans to hear it sometime real soon.’ By Rob Markman T.I. Photo: Robyn Beck/AFP/Getty Images T.I. is almost home. On Thursday, the Trap Muzik MC will have completed his current prison bid for a probation violation that stems from a September 2010 arrest for drug possession . His longtime collaborator DJ Drama looks forward to brighter days. “Me and Tip have been friends, working together for almost a decade now, so we know what we gotta do. It’s really time to get to work and get to the music,” said Drama, who has present during T.I.’s recent recording sessions that he’s been allowed to hold since being in a halfway house. “So I’m just happy when I was in the studio with him to really see where his focus was at musically and I was excited for the fans to hear it sometime real soon.” T.I.’s imprisonment was not only a blow to the hip-hop community, but it also left a void in his hometown of Atlanta. “It’s always a good feeling,” Drama said of the prospect of having Tip free yet again. “When somebody like Tip, who is so influential in the city, isn’t around, we all feel it in a lot of ways. I look forward to it; I’m happy, man. Bottles on me.” Drama couldn’t confirm whether the Grand Hustle CEO will make an appearance at this Saturday’s taping of the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. It would be fitting that he make his return on BET’s stage, but it’s also where T.I.’s legal drama began , when he was arrested on federal gun charges in October 2007 just hours before that year’s ceremony. The DJ, who is preparing the release of his own album, Third Power, was able to talk about Tip’s first post-prison track. The song, which is produced by rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T., was supposed to drop Monday but has not yet surfaced. “The record is hot,” Drama teased. “Big K.R.I.T. deserves it. He’s been working for a long time. So they’re both fans of each other, so sh– is definitely gonna be a nice sound for the ear.” What are you expecting from T.I.’s new music?
