The parents of students at Lincoln High School in Indiana have been put on blast for hanging a candy-filled effigy of a black player from an opposing school according to a report on Fox59 . The azzhole Assistant Superintendent of the Western Wayne School District was all caped up to defend this bulls#!t: “Only after the picture was sent out did the Lincoln supporters learn that the number on the Tri-High uniform was that of an African American student. It clearly was not the thought or intent of the Lincoln supporters or football players that this incident was anything more than a school rivalry. This incident was not racially motivated.” How the hell does he know what motivated “this incident”?! SMH. Other folks (who aren’t azzholes) don’t quite see it that way: “Parents? That’s even more shocking. If in fact that’s the case then the parents shouldn’t be allowed to come over here all year, period,” says Dave Southerland We absolutely refuse to believe that grown folks, parents, could somehow miss the fact that the hanging of a black man could be “misconstrued” as racist. Teacher Fired For Interracial Relationship A white Florida woman was canned from her teaching job after the school’s racist discovered that she had a romantic relationship with a black man. Apparently that Via HuffPost : A white Florida teacher claims she was discriminated against for having a black boyfriend and associating with black staff members. A lawsuit filed by former Edgewater High School math teacher Audrey Dudek against Orange County Public Schools last week alleges that she was fired in 2013 after school administrators found out she was dating a black man, to whom she is now married. A copy of the lawsuit obtained by WESH says that at the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year, principal Michelle Erickson learned that Dudek’s boyfriend was black. “Upon encountering Dudek with her boyfriend, Principal Erickson appeared shocked and offended,” the lawsuit said. “After that encounter, Principal Erickson treated Dudek differently.” The lawsuit also claims that on another occasion, then-vice principal Anthony Serianni berated Dudek until she cried. When Dudek confided in a black security guard after the incident, Serianni allegedly complained about the teacher being associated with “those” people, referring to black staff members. Dudek also says that during a talent show, school staff members, including Erickson and Serianni, took part in a racist skit in which staff wore “black face,” “weave hair extensions” and gold teeth in a “pejorative display of ‘black’ culture.” Dudek was fired in 2013 on the basis of her race, gender and who she associated with, the lawsuit alleges. Sounds like this school district is about to have to pay up!!

Principal Accused Of Plagiarizing Commencement Speech SMH…really?! WPBF reports: West Boca High School Principal Mark Stenner took the stage on May 22 at the South Florida fairgrounds expo center and started the commencement address. “Commencement is life’s great ceremonial beginning with its own attendant and highly appropriate symbolism…” Stenner can be heard reciting before hundreds of parents and graduates in this video posted to the Palm Beach County School District’s website. But there’s another commencement speech recording that may sound familiar to Stenner’s speech. Massachusetts’ English teacher David McCullough, Junior addressed the class of 2012 at Wellesley High School. A speech written three years earlier; a speech Principal Stenner repeated almost word for word, but never mentioned McCullough. McCullough’s speech went viral, uploaded to YouTube with more than 2.5 million views. It became known as the “You Are Not Special” speech and landed him a book deal. WPBF 25 News went through both speeches line by line. Other than slight word changes here and there and different location examples when necessary, the majority of Stenner’s speech seems to echo McCullough’s without giving credit. WPBF 25 News reached out to both Principal Stenner and the Palm Beach County School district. Neither could comment. Berzinski was told an investigation is currently underway and the matter cannot be discussed. Dallas Teacher Caught Bragging About Genital Size To Middle School Students GTFOHWTBS! Via NYDailyNews A dirty-talking Dallas teacher is in timeout. The middle school instructor was suspended after he was caught on tape cussing out a class full of sixth graders and bizarrely referencing the size of his penis, officials said. “If you don’t give a f–k, then I don’t give a f–k,” the teacher said in the recording. A 12-year-old student recorded Monday’s seven-minute tirade and showed it to her mother. The outraged mom shared it with CBS DFW after she claimed the principal of Holmes Middle School refused to do anything. The foul-mouthed rant went from bad to worse as the teacher began talking about his penis. “Some people’s d–k, they only go that far,” he said, adding improbably “My d–k goes all the way to that fence.” He promised to show them when students laughed. “I’m gonna show you what a d–k is,” the teacher said. “I’m gonna d–k your a– over.” The mother of the student who filmed the diatribe claims she took the tape to the school’s principal and was told to delete it, but she refused. Principals ain’t isht…SMFH “I want him to be out, and I don’t want him to be at any school,” the mom, identified only as Diana, told CBS DFW. School officials condemned the teacher’s language. “We’ve listened to the tape, and we’re horrified by it,” Dallas Independent School District spokesman André Riley told the Daily News. “We’re going to take steps to make sure our students are not exposed to that ever again.” Under the jail. Parents Sue After Bullied Teen Commits Suicide via Jezebel The parents of a teenage boy who committed suicide after being targeted by bullies filed a lawsuit against district where he attended school, alleging officials knew their son was being targeted but did nothing to protect him. Matthew Burdette’s parents are suing the San Diego Unified School District after a video of the teen masturbating went viral, leading to severe bullying that caused their son to take his life. The Burdettes allege school officials at University City High School where Matthew,14, attended knew about the video and the bullying yet did nothing to intervene. Matthew killed himself during the Thanksgiving holiday in 2013. He left behind a suicide note for his family that shed light on the harassment he was enduring from classmates. “He said, I can’t do school anymore,” Matthew’s aunt Laura Burdette Mechak said to ABC 10. “I have no friends. I don’t want to kill myself but I have no friends.” After his death, family members turned to University City High School looking for answers. What could have happened at school to drive their son, a Boy Scout and member of the wrestling team, to kill himself? Mechak said school officials refused to give them any insight into what was going on with Matthew. “Kids came forward to help them figure out what was going on,” she told ABC 10. It was then that the family first became aware of the video. After months of investigating, this is what the family knows so far. On Nov. 15, Matthew was kicked out of a classroom for eating sunflower seeds. His teacher gave him no direction on where to go or what to do (she didn’t send him to the principal’s office; she just told him to leave the class). That’s when he went to the bathroom and reportedly began to masturbate in one of stalls. At that point, another student entered the bathroom and peered over the door. He used his phone to record Matthew masturbating. Video taping someone engaging in a sexual act without their consent is disturbing and completely horrifying on its own, but don’t forget this is the age where everything gets shared on the Internet. Sure enough, the student immediately shared the footage via Snapchat and other social media sites. That’s where Matthew’s nightmare began. I don’t think we have to explain that high school students and sexually explicit material are a bad combination which only seem to lead to brutal torment from teenagers. As you can imagine, Matthew was relentlessly teased about the video. Mechak detailed the extent of the teasing, which went way past a few schoolyard bullies. “It went viral. It went beyond his school,” she said. “It went to other schools in California. Kids in the neighborhood who didn’t go to Matthew’s school had heard about it and seen the video that was taken of him. After two weeks of the bullying, Matthew reached his breaking point. His body was found on Nov. 29.
