A Livingston County music teacher has been accused of stealing dozens of musical instruments from her school and selling them for drug money , New York State Police said Wednesday. School Music Teacher Caught Selling Tubas To Buy Drugs Via Democrat & Chronicle : Danielle Conner-Willowglade, 30, of Greece who allegedly told troopers that she stole at least 50 instruments from the Keshequa Central School District in Nunda in the last year and sold them to pawn shops in Monroe County because she needed cash for heroin, said Trooper Mark O’Donnell. She was charged this week with third-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, both felonies, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, troopers said. A music teacher at Keshequa’s elementary, middle and high schools, O’Donnell said Conner-Willowglade was allegedly taking instruments from the school for quite some time. State Police Investigator Chris Burns said Conner-Willowgate told troopers she had been taking instruments from her employer since at least June. She was stopped while driving north on Interstate 390 near Geneseo earlier this month and a trooper noticed she was acting “out of sorts” and had a tuba – not held in any sort of instrument case – in the back seat of her car, O’Donnell said. She reportedly told the trooper that she was headed to Rochester with the tuba in connection to her profession. State Police investigated her claim and contacted her employer, which has assisted with the investigation. Burns said troopers have been investigating Conner-Willowglade since October, first in connection with drug use. Twelve instruments and her district-issued computer, all school property, have been recovered from area pawn shops, he said. Her boyfriend Nicholas Bump, 32, of Henrietta was also charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with the incident, troopers said. Bump has been accused of assisting Conner-Willowglade, allegedly accompanying her to Monroe County pawn shops or going in her place, according to State Police. Additional charges are pending against the pair. Troopers continue to investigate. Maybe if they paid teachers a decent wage they wouldn’t have to steal to buy their drugs!
When will teachers stop fawking their students ?? Las Vegas Charged With Statutory Rape For Having Sex With Student Clark County Detention Center records confirm Tanikka Queen was booked into the jail on charges including sex assault against a child under 16, statutory sexual seduction, sexual act with a pupil and first-degree kidnapping. Via Fox 5 Vegas : Clark County School District spokeswoman Melinda Malone confirmed Queen, 22, was a substitute teacher at Hyde Park Middle School and that the case is under investigation. According to Queen’s arrest report, on March 11, after having been taken into custody, she confessed to police to having had sex with a 15-year-old male student and told investigators, “I am in love with [name redacted]. I have never been in love before.” Metro police first responded to a report about an inappropriate relationship between Queen and an eighth-grade student on Feb. 26. The student’s father had become suspicious when his son said he had been spending time with a girlfriend named Bella. The alleged victim was interviewed, confessing to having spent time away from school with Queen, but denying the two had sex. After police interviewed Queen, they extracted a series of text messages between her and the 15-year-old student from her iPhone: “You should know how I feel by now,” Queen wrote. “I’m serious, I’m putting my job on the line talking to you, so how can I not be serious?” On Feb. 24, Queen texted, “People are getting hella suspicious. We gotta cool it down.” Police interviewed another student on March 5 who said Queen had confessed to her that she and the victim had sex, and had been dating since Valentine’s Day. Some of the text messages between Queen and the teen discuss meeting up at restaurants and Lorenzi Park, leading police to charge Queen with luring a child and kidnapping. Queen is scheduled to make her first appearance in court on Friday at 7:30 a.m. She threw her away her teaching career and freedom for some teenage peen?!? SMH!!!

Mark Berndt, a former L.A. elementary school teacher charged with blindfolding students and feeding them his semen, is going to prison for 25 years. Accused of spoon-feeding kids cookies laced with his own semen, he agreed to plead no contest to all charges, an attorney for some of the victims said. Berndt plans to enter the legal equivalent of guilty pleas to 23 charges. Teacher Feeds Kids Semen, Will Plead No Contest The plea agreement, first reported by the Daily News of Los Angeles, calls for Berndt to be sentenced to 25 years in state prison for the offenses. John Manly, an attorney who represents 30 Miramonte Elementary School students and their parents, said he was notified of the plea by prosecutors. Manly called the agreement a victory for his young clients and said that the families appreciate being treated “with decency and dignity” by prosecutors. “He’s going to jail essentially for the rest of his life,” he said. “You can’t ask for more than that.” He said that prosecutors urged a plea deal for the disgraced educator because “they were concerned about re-traumatizing the children at trial.” Berndt taught at a south Los Angeles school for more than 30 years. The allegations against him came to light thanks to a drug store photo technician. After dozens of photos of blindfolded third-graders surfaced, he reported them to police. Investigators found a plastic spoon in Berndt’s classroom trash bin. Tests found traces of semen on it. According to prosecutors, Berndt used the semen-coated cookies for “tasting games” with students. He was removed from the classroom in January 2011. Berndt was fired and the Los Angeles Unified School District then paid him $40,000 to drop his appeal of the firing, a move that brought heavy criticism. The district said it was done to quell a threat and get him away from kids immediately, but the payoff was nevertheless controversial for obvious reasons. Dozens of lawsuits and claims were filed on behalf of victims. According to reports. 63 cases have been settled for a total of $29.5 million, and 71 are pending. “We’re focused on the civil cases and settling them in a manner that is respectful of the health and educational needs of students and their families,” he said. The case led to a wide-ranging overhaul of how the district handles allegations of sexual abuse after previous complaints about Berndt were ignored. It also showed how slowly state officials act to censure teachers and led to a flurry of allegations of teacher-student sex abuse in this district and others. Manly denounced the district and its administrators for allowing Berndt to continue teaching after there had been complaints about him in the 1990s. “For all intents and purposes this man murdered these children emotionally,” he said, noting all of the children are in therapy as a result of his actions. Shortly after Berndt’s arrest, the district temporarily removed all 76 of the school’s teachers, along with staff and administrators, putting them on leave. Six months later, when the new school year began, 43 returned to a restructured school with a new principal. The rest either retired or went to new schools. None was accused of any wrongdoing.
Parents Confront Children On Bus Every parent loves their kid, but dayum. According to NBC Philadelphia: Parents trying to confront their child’s alleged bully landed behind bars in Pennsylvania last week. Chris and Christina Gring of Montgomery County were arrested and charged for allegedly threatening students by climbing aboard a North Penn School District bus and yelling “Who made my son cry?” according to a police affidavit obtained by NBC10′s Chris Cato. Christina Gring is accused of heading to the back of the bus, questioning students and threatening physical harm if they continued to pick on her son. Some of the kids on the bus were as young as 6 years old. Shanice Garcia, who was one of those passengers, told NBC10 that it was terrifying. “They were crying and hiding under their seats,” Garcia said. The mother, who has been released from jail, told NBC10 that her 8-year-old son has been bullied since the beginning of the school year. Last week he got off the school bus in tears, shes said. The mother said when she asked the bus driver what was going on she was told her to talk with the student safety monitors, which is why she got on the bus. She said she never threatened the kids. “I think it’s because my husband has a record and they needed someone to take the fall for this, because the district wasn’t doing what they were supposed to be doing and the bus driver wasn’t doing what he was supposed to be doing,” Christina Gring said. The North Penn School District is conducting an internal investigation about how its driver handled the situation. The district says it has not received any prior bullying complaints from the family. Chris Gring is still locked up. The couple will appear in court on Nov. 5 to face charges of making terroristic threats. “We’re not monsters. We didn’t mean to scare kids. We love our child just like anybody else loves their child,” Christina Gring said. We understand their frustration, but they could have went about the situation differently. Shutterstock
This lady didn’t give a phuck. Teacher Has Angry Tirade Over The Term African-American Poor thang probably went off over her paycheck. These teachers don’t get enough money. According to Raw Story A Los Angeles teacher whose profanity-laced tirade was caught on an audio recording admits a student heckler got the best of her. The outburst took place Sept. 26 during a lesson on race and ethnicity at the Humanities and Art Academy in Harbor City, The Daily Breeze reported Wednesday. The teacher, whose name has not been released, said she was trying to explain that the term, “African-American,” is at least partially inaccurate. “You’re an American first,” she said, adding that her family came from Italy, but she doesn’t call herself an Italian-American. The teacher said one student repeatedly told her she was wrong and then used her cell phone to record the teacher’s angry reaction. “I know my f–-g s—t,” the teacher can be heard saying. “Don’t f—- with that. I’m tired of trying to educate you, and you guys resist every step of the f—–g way. Get the f—- out of here.” The teacher admits she lost her cool, but she said she was also hurt that the student had recorded her outburst and then turned the recording over to another faculty member with whom she doesn’t get along. “I was trying to explain the difference between race and ethnicity, and this girl kept poking the bear,” she said. She also pointed out that the student had broken school rules by using her cell phone in class. The teacher has been placed on paid leave while the Los Angeles Unified School District investigates the incident. Students told KTLA-TV that they had forgiven the teacher, saying that students at the school can be tough on faculty members. “It is wrong to be cussing, at students especially, but a lot of kids here aggravate the teachers,” student Aaron Taylor said. “She’s a good teacher. Everybody makes mistakes and she’s only human.” Another student pointed out the teacher had apologized. “Everybody forgave her,” Summer Washington said. “That’s our favorite teacher.” But another student told KNBC-TV that the 10-year veteran teacher should be fired. “They’re not supposed to react like that no matter what the situation was,” said student Carla Mateo. The student was wrong for “poking the bear,” but teachers should adhere to a certain level of professionalism. You have to watch what you say with today’s technology. Shutterstock

Look, Heidi Klum, we get it. You are very rich, famous and beautiful. Must you rub it in our faces?!? The super model took to Twitter this week and posted a picture of herself sunbathing on some tropical island. Shirtless! And while we’re never against any Heidi Klum nude shots, we can’t help but be reminded that: 1. We do not look like this; 2. We are sitting at our computer with two sweatshirts on at the moment. Klum, we’d imagine, is spending the holidays with bodyguard/boyfriend Martin Kristen , as this will be her first Christmas in seven years as an unmarried woman. Kristen may get to tap this any time he wants, but, hey, we can stare at Kate Upton bikini photos all day and night. That’s pretty much the same thing, right?
