John Perrine tweeted that the shooter is in custody and that two people were critically injured and en route to the hospital. A 17-year-old named Kyle Steven Bahner has been arrested for filming two of his fellow students having sex in a school bathroom. What was probably an impulsive decision could cost him big time and reshape his future for the worst. If convicted, he could spend years behind bars, as the video below will explain. Kyle Bahner is a Georgia teen who attends Harrison High School. It was at school, during lunch hours, during which he allegedly entered the men's restroom and overheard the tell-tale signs of sexual activity. What should have been an amusing anecdote to share with his friends became something else, as she held his phone above the stall in which the sex was taking place. There, he recorded two fellow students, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, having sex within the stall. He reportedly recorded all of this without their permission. To make things worse, he then distributed that video to a number of friends via social media. That, folks, is a crime. On a scripted teen drama, something like this might happen When the assistant principal learned that this video was being spread, Cobb County police were notified. According to the warrant, Bahner told administrators: “I took a video of a guy and a girl in a stall because I don't see how they should let that happen and I was showing it to my friends.” He is charged with eavesdropping surveillance, and has been released on $5,000 bail. If convicted, he could face 1-5 years in prison. A number of people are blaming the victims for this. To be clear, though having sex on campus is almost certainly against school rules, they were clearly trying to avoid being seen and did not in any way invite being recorded. (While not everyone engages in it, sex in bathrooms is a pretty normal occurrence in high school) Additionally, a lot of people are asking why he has not been charged with child pornography. After all, a number of teens have been charged with that hefty, life-ruining label for taking photos of themselves . The answer, quite frankly, is that the video did not show anyone's genitals. At least there's that. As you can see, Twitter was full of misinformed outrage among other responses. While it is totally normal for someone to have the impulse to share what they are seeing, it is not appropriate to film people having sex and distribute it without their consent. Especially when the students are minors. For that matter, if you're alone in a bathroom, a mirror selfie is fine. Beyond that … nobody needs to be photographing or recording anything in bathrooms. Bahner has also gotten into trouble with the school for this incident. “This incident has been thoroughly investigated by school administrators and school district police. In addition to the criminal charge, appropriate action has been taken in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.” Well … that was vague, but that's appropriate. Bahner, like his alleged victims, is a minor.
Getty Images Freshman Collapses During Gym Class And Later Dies A 14-year-old student collapsed and later died during his gym class at a New Jersey high school on Tuesday morning. The Franklin Township School district confirmed that the student was unresponsive following the incident, which happened on the school’s football field just after 9 a.m. After the student falling to the ground, the staff performed CPR, and the boy was then rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead a short time later. School officials have confirmed that counseling is being provided to both staff and students following the incident. The school district released the following statement: “At approximately 9:10 am during a physical education class on the field of Franklin High School, 500 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, NJ, a 14-year-old male ninth grade student became unresponsive. 911 was called and the physical education staff of the high school immediately began CPR.The Franklin Township Police Department arrived and the student was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick via ambulance.At approximately 11:15 am, we learned that the student had passed away. We are providing counseling to our staff and students.Our thoughts and prayers go out to the student’s family at this time.” The name of the student has not been released, an officials haven’t said what activities students were doing when the boy collapsed. The cause of death remains under investigation.

According to Rolling Out , the allegations are that recent members of the sorority were involved in a sex ring to pay for pledging the organization. The magazine alleges that customers included businessmen and politicians of the Fort Valley area. Alecia Johnson , the former Fort Valley State employee and graduate advisor to the AKA chapter has resigned in the wake of the controversy. Her lawyer says that her client is not a pimp, confirming the nature of allegations lobbied against her. “She’s not a pimp, and she’s not a madam. None of that,” Adrian Patrick, Johnson’s attorney told WSBTV . “She’s not guilty. She did not do anything.” He continued to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution , “She’s been demonized by social media, but not one piece of evidence has shown what’s happening.” Per the AKA website, “hazing will not be tolerated in any form.” Recently, the AKA chapter at the University of Pittsburgh was suspended earlier this year after a hazing incident during which 12 pledges were allegedly forced to eat rotten food and were beaten with a paddle in a basement located off-campus. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation also is investigation an alleged “sexual battery” incident that took place between an 18-year-old female student and a former campus police officer at the school.
