Today, he’s the mayor of Sacramento and NOT to be f***ed with… Via ESPN A man hit Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson in the face with a pie at a charity dinner on Wednesday night, and an official said the former NBA star went on the defensive. The mayor had given a speech at the Seeds of HOPE dinner at Sacramento Charter High School before the man came up, pulled the pie from a bag and shoved it into Johnson’s face, according to the mayor’s chief of staff, Crystal Strait. She said the mayor defended himself against the man, but she would not give details. “The mayor was assaulted. I was standing right there, and I’m still pretty shaken up,” Strait said, speaking some three hours after the incident occurred. This what it looks like when Kevin Johnson “defends himself”. Looks a lot like an a$$-whoopin’, right? Police agreed. They arrested 32-year-old Sean Thompson on suspicion of assaulting a public official, which is a felony, the Sacramento Police Department said in a statement. Thompson was treated for a minor injury before he was taken to be booked into jail. It wasn’t clear if he had retained an attorney. Kevin Johnson got hands, huh? Getting kids ready and off to school on time is never easy, but this time of year, after having the tykes at home all summer, many parents look forward to morning drop-offs. Not Leah Messer. For Leah the morning drop-off is the ultimate test of parenting competency. Last year, she botched one so badly that she briefly held the title of Most Hated Teen Mom 2 Cast Member. (Fortunately for Leah and the other girls, Jenelle Evans is always quick to regain that title.) You may remember the scene and the social media firestorm that followed it. Leah rushed her girls off to school without feeding them breakfast first, and the young ladies were decidedly (and understandably) not happy about it. To make matters worse, it wasn’t the only time that Leah had trouble getting the kids off to school on time: Leah Messer to Kids: I’ll Get You to School Whenever I Want! In fact, things got so bad, that Leah actually lost custody of her twins to their father, Corey Simms, in large part because of her inability to get them up and ready for class in a timely fashion. It wasn’t until she was able to demonstrate that she is able to get the kids fed, clothed and off to school that Leah was granted custody again . We think it’s safe to say she’s not a morning person. Anyway, it seems that Leah is once again having weekday morning issues. Except this it’s not her kids who are cranky – it’s the other parents. Leah posted the following to Instagram earlier today: As you can see, she’s eager to apologize/clarify herself to a fellow parent who was clearly upset about the presence of a camera crew at their child’s bus stop. “There were NO cameras filming at my girls’ bus stop this morning,” Leah writes. “MTV follows my life and happened to be doing so this morning at my home. “HOWEVER, I personally have more than enough RESPECT for the other children & parents that I knew would be there to make it VERY clear to MTV that no cameras were to be filming at the bus stop.” She concludes: “I hope the person who seemed to be frustrated that the crew was following behind me in a car does see this and knows that my priority is my children, and our school, and my job on TV will never interfere with that. “If you have ANY questions or concerns feel free to contact me directly.” It’s unclear exactly why the offended party believed their child was being filmed, but we can’t help but think that Leah could’ve handled this in a more discrete fashion. Granted, she didn’t mention the person by name, but a kindly worded email or phone call probably would’ve been more effective than Leah addressing a situation regarding privacy in front of her 1 million IG followers. Hey, remember the 40,000 times you thought the 2016 presidential election couldn’t possibly get any more ridiculous? Well, it seems that you were wrong yet again, as Tuesday’s Pepe the Frog affair has been replaced as the controversy of the week, thanks to a dust-up over the email account of a former Secretary of State. No, not that Secretary of State (though we’re sure you’ll hear more about her emails after this whole ” Hillary is mere moments from death ” business cools off). We’re talking about Colin Powell, whose emails were hacked yesterday, revealing what could most generously be described as his strong dislike for both current candidates. Based on his correspondence, Powell holds a deep disdain for Donald Trump (whom he calls “a national disgrace and an international pariah”), but isn’t that crazy about the real estate mogul’s opponent, either. Powell has previously expressed frustration over Hillary Clinton’s handling of the investigation into her use of a private email server, especially her habit of reminding critics that Powell also used a private email account when “engaging with Department officials” during his time as Secretary of State. His frustrations are clear in a number of the correspondences sent by Powell that were posted on the DC Leak website yesterday following a hack orchestrated earlier this week. “I have told Hilleary’s [sic] minions repeatedly that they are making a mistake trying to drag me in, yet they still try,” Powell wrote in one email. “Everything HRC touches she kind of screws up with hubris,” reads another , which was sent by Powell to Democratic mega-donor Jeffrey Leeds. Powell goes on to joke that he should “send [Clinton] a bill” for overcharging a university for a speaking engagement to the point that the school came under fire and had to cancel a scheduled speech from Powell. Then things really get interesting: First, Powell reveals to Leeds that the Obamas and Clintons have not gotten along ever since President Obama “kicked [Hillary’s] ass” in the 2008 Democratic primaries. (He even claims that Bill and Hillary refer to Barack as “that man.”) Powell then outlines his exact feelings about Hillary in brutal fashion and includes a new allegation about her husband’s infidelity for good measure: Well, it’s a nice that he calls her a friend, but we’re guessing Hillary would’ve preferred if her buddy Colin left out the part about her husband “dicking bimbos on the side.” It seems to us that there are three main takeaways from all of this: 1. Washington is basically your high school cafeteria. 2. “Dick” is a verb now. 3. Colin Powell will probably be staying home on Election Day. This story is something else… NYDAILY : A Virginia mother who smacked a defenseless black teen moments after her son had been pummeling him has been charged with assault. In the 40-second clip, a Northumberland High School student is seen charging at John Thomas, quickly taking him down, slamming the teen several times on the ground and unloading a flurry of punches at the young boy’s head. The boy’s mother, identified as Heather Lynn Sebra, joins in the beating, pulling off the teen and hitting him with a loud slap across his face. “You are not gonna call my son a n—–, do you understand me?” Sebra is seen yelling in the video. John, who never fought back the entire clip, was confused from the striking mom’s accusations. “What? Why would I call him a n—–?,” he said, just after she had smacked him. John’s mother, Nicole Thomas, was brought to tears watching the clip, and furious at Sebra. “For this woman to restrain my son as she did by his shirt, and stick her finger in his face, after slapping him and chastising him for saying something he did not, how dare you?” Thomas told WTVR. “To abuse, berate, belittle, intimidate and physically attack someone is disgusting.” John told the station he chose not to fight back, firmly believing he was in the right. “Plus, she was an adult,” he told reporters. “So I let her do it. Let her make that choice because in the end I’m going to win.” Northumberland High School principal Dr. Travis Burns told WWBT he was “deeply concerned” over the fight, which he said was between a ninth-grader on the junior varsity football team and an 11th grader on the varsity team. Sebra’s son had been embarrassed after being told to mind his own business when trying to jump in John’s conversation, WTVR reported. He left the room and then came back with his mother, a football volunteer before the brawl began. NYDAILY

One day, “they” invented a long-standing staple in black culture, the next, “they” hate on us for expressing that very same culture. SMFH. Via ABC13 A Baytown teen’s mother says her daughter is the victim of racial discrimination by her high school cheer coach. Fifteen-year-old Kemirah Jn-Marie is a flyer on the Ross S. Sterling High School varsity cheer squad. “The coach makes it hard to be on varsity,” she said, telling Eyewitness News the coach has been on her repeatedly about her hair. “She makes me feel bad about myself,” said Jn-Marie. This year, she says, she had special braids done in the hope of meeting cheer requirements. Her mother says things really got out of hand last week when the coach told Kemirah she wouldn’t be able to perform at Saturday’s football game if she showed up as she did at school – with her hair in braids. “I said, ‘If that’s the case, put it in writing. Just put it in writing,’” said Mayra Jn-Marie. She says the school district refused. What is in writing are these Sterling High cheer guidelines: Hair must be “pulled back in a secure pony tail” and hair “must not distract from the cheer environment.” The policy also states that an administrator will determine if a hair style is disruptive.
