Shaniah: “As far as my modeling career goes, my dad’s not a vocal person, let me put it that way. Jacob Cox-Brown Brags About Drunk Driving Hit-and-Run on Facebook, Gets Arrested

Jacob Cox-Brown is not smart. The Oregon teen was jailed following the dumbest Facebook gaffe of all time – and that’s saying something, as 95 percent of all Facebook posts could be considered dumb. His blunder? Bragging about driving drunk AND committing a hit-and run. “Drivin drunk … classsic 😉 but to whoever’s vehicle i hit i am sorry. :P” was the early-morning post that quickly led to his arrest at home in Astoria, Oregon. Upon reading Jacob Cox-Brown’s post , two of the his Facebook friends contacted police; it became vital information in an ongoing investigation – go figure! The previous night, two officers responded to an incident in which a white Scion and an adjacent vehicle were damaged in their parking spots. After collecting pieces of a damaged taillight and bumper, police were informed about the Facebook post and headed over to the home of Cox-Brown. They arrested him on two counts of failing to perform the duties of a driver. No DUI charge was filed as nine hours had passed and he was not in the car. “Astoria Police have an active social media presence,” a spokesman said. “It was a private Facebook message to one of our officers that got this case moving, though. When you post, you have to figure that it is not going to stay private long.”  “We actually use Facebook to find things not unlike this.” At 18, he can be charged as an adult; surprising, as he clearly has the IQ of a three-year-old. Too bad there’s no surcharge for social media stupidity.

Babes and Donuts is the Best Car Ad Ever of the Day

My homeboy Mark, over at COPYRANTER sent me this video…. It is some Scion ad that dropped well over a month ago, but that no one sw, because I guess Scion wasn’t clever enough to email me and offer me 10,000 dollars to post the shit, so instead I’m gonna post it for them for free, because sometimes, commercials are exactly what I want to see, you know daring enough to probably never end up on TV, but to give me some sort of hope that ad agencies are still creative, interesting and not too scared of their Christian guidlines, making them willing to get sluts half naked in a car with donuts and milk while the car does donuts… Genius. Now I need to go out and get me a fucking Scion. I approve of this message: LIKE US ON FACEBOOK EVEN IF YOU DON’T LIKE US

Seth Rogen Based His ‘Green Hornet’ Character On Paris Hilton

‘We wanted to start out with a guy who was the last guy you would ever expect to be a superhero,’ actor tells MTV News of Britt Reid. By Eric Ditzian Seth Rogen Photo: MTV News The first time we meet the adult Britt Reid — the scion of a Los Angeles media magnate — he’s gleefully trashing a hotel, one part Keith Moon-style rock star, one part reality-TV celebutant. The party boy, of course, will go on to become the superhero who gives “Green Hornet” its name. But in the beginning, Britt is simply a hard-drinking, model-humping, spoiled brat. And, as Seth Rogen explained to MTV News, he and co-writer Evan Goldberg turned to some real-life inspiration to create the character. “We kind of based him off a male Paris Hilton, as embarrassing as that is to say,” he told MTV News. “That is what we looked at — those people who are the sons or daughters of people who have accomplished great things. We probably give them a little more credit than they’ve gotten in the past and we explore why they’re such jerks and why they act out. Maybe it’s because they didn’t get the attention they wanted.” That’s certainly the case for Britt. His dad looks at his son, who’s more likely to end up in the newspaper for his antics than his professional accomplishments, as nothing short of an embarrassment. It’s just that fatherly disappointment that fuels Britt’s transformation into the Green Hornet. “We wanted to start out with a guy who was the last guy you would ever expect to be a superhero and slowly make that guy a hero instead of starting with a guy who’s already pretty morally centered, just doesn’t quite have the idea yet,” Rogen explained. And who knows? Perhaps Hilton herself might get a few ideas about a new career path. “She’s going to become a superhero,” Rogen laughed. “I hope so.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Green Hornet.” For breaking news and previews of the latest comic book movies — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com .
