After Kourtney’s breast milk took center stage a week ago, the Kardashian family really got the competitive juices flowing instead on last night’s episode. Sometimes a little sibling rivalry can be fun, but when there are double-digit siblings named Kardashian and Jenner, things can get out of hand quickly. Come along for THG’s Kourtney & Kim Take Miami recap! Kris, Kylie, Brandon, Leah and Bruce Jenner all show up to be on Kim and Kourtney’s team in the annual Miami Dragon Boat Race for charity. Because Leah was feeling ill, Kourtney assumed her step-brother’s wife was pregnant. Not the case. Way to jump to conclusions Kourt. Minus 30 . Kourtney: “Kim has called a practice session on a conference table, pretending the table is a boat. Because she’s crazy.” Yes. Yes she is. Plus 40 . Tension is riding high. Bruce really wants to win this thing … it’s like he really wants to one-up his famous stepdaughters just once. Hard to blame the man. Scott: “That’s a bunch of people paddling around like lost people who fell off a big boat. I need some speed, baby!” Plus 20. Lord Disick didn’t want to participate in the race. Bruce tells him to “man up.” Plus 20 . Kanye West surprises Kim Kardashian with a visit and Kim has to back out of the dragon boat race, setting up the time-honored boyfriend vs. family tension. Kim insists Kanye comes before her family. Anyone believe that? Minus 70 . Kim: “That’s one of Kanye’s mottos: don’t f*ck with me.” How original. Minus 30 . Later, Kim said she could participate after all, but new team captain Bruce decided to teach her a lesson and not let her join. This guy is on a roll. Plus 50 . Kim then shows up on the day of the race with her own team, an idea she totally pulled off on her own and without the help of any producers. Minus 200 . “We’ll have fun, but you also have to realize that winning is fun,” says Bruce. Plus 40 for proving he’s still got some competitive spirit after all these years. The race was a close one, but somehow Team Bruce managed to win – and made sure that Kim never heard the end of it. Gotta give it up for the old man. Plus 40 . Scott: “My whole life I lived by myself, now I have to live with 90 of you people.” Plus 320 . Scott: “I truly do love every person in her family. Sad news today out of the world of professional basketball. Authorities have confirmed the death of Scott Sterling, the 32-year old son of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Details are still coming in, but detectives arrived at Scott’s Malibu home around 11:30 last night and reportedly discovered Scott’s body; it is believed he died of a drug overdose. Donald Sterling purchased the Clippers in 1981. The team has enjoyed little success ever since, but it currently owns the best record in the NBA and became just the third squad in league history to complete an undefeated month in December. Our thoughts go out to the Sterling family.
He may be a part of the Kardashian Christmas card , but will Scott Disick ever be an official part of reality TV’s First Family? It’s unlikely, according to Life & Style sources, who report that the father of Kourtney’s two kids tried to get down on one knee recently… but the attempt was rebuffed by Kardashian! Kourtney “does not want to be engaged,” the tabloid alleges, with a friend adding: “[She] really has been very vocal and told everyone how she does not want to marry Scott . She does not think their relationship is perfect and is scared of divorce. But Scott’s not happy about her never saying yes to a proposal.” Previous reports detailing the couple have claimed that Kourtney would consider a marriage, but only if Disick signed a prenup . Other sources, meanwhile, have claimed the twosome WILL get hitched someday, but a Scott Disick/ Kourtney Kardashian wedding would solely be based on ratings. Hmmm… we wonder where they would have gotten that idea from.
Tony Scott’s dramatic and still-mysterious leap to his death in August has grounded the Top Gun sequel . The New York Times reported that the film, which was being planned by the filmmaker, the star of the original, Tom Cruise, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, has “fallen apart” in the wake of Scott’s suicide . If there is a silver lining to the story, it’s that a 3D version of the original Top Gun may be released in February 2013. Earlier this year, Legend3D, which specializes in converting two-dimensional films into the more eye-popping format, completed a conversion of the film, which, the Times notes, “as a way to whet the world’s appetite for a sequel.” Since Scott leapt to his death from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles on Aug. 19, however, Paramount, the studio behind both the original Top Gun and its sequel, is “considering a release in February, perhaps beginning with a one-week exclusive showing on domestic Imax screens.” [New York Times] The paper also reports that the studio is treading carefully because it does not want to seem insensitive or exploitative. Although the Los Angeles coroner officially ruled Scott’s death a suicide, questions remain about his reasons for taking his own life. According to the Times , the filmmaker’s brother, Prometheus director Ridley Scott has asked a number of people who knew and worked with his sibling not to discuss his “life or demise.” Tony Scott’s last work appears to be the below Diet Mountain Dew commercial featuring Dallas Mavericks and HDNet owner, billionaire Mark Cuban . One of the better looking couples in Hollywood has called it quits. According to Just Jared, Teresa Palmer ( I Am Number F our) and Scott Speedman ( Last Resort ) broke up in late summer, with the latter already moving on to his ABC costar, Camille De Pazzis. He was spotted swimming with her in Hawaii this week. Palmer, meanwhile, has been linked in the past to suck hunks as Liam Hemsworth , Russell Brand and Zac Efron.

Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy Scott Disick left their 2-year-old son Mason in his Mercedes SUV with the windows up–on a day temperatures soared as high as 107 degrees–while he was browsing magazines at a newsstand, an eyewitness tells the ENQUIRER. “He was out of the car for at least five minutes and should have never left his son alone!” the source told the ENQUIRER of the August 10 incident which occurred in the Kardashian hometown of Calabasas, California. “The car was parked in the hot sun with the boy alone in the back. “The car was not running, so the air conditioner wasn’t on, and the windows were rolled up.” Kourtney, who by all accounts seems like a good parent, was livid with her partner about his carelessness, and suggested someone go along with him to supervise on visits so nothing like this happens again. “All she could think about is that Mason could have died. She read Scott the riot act, and so did her sisters Kim and Khloe,” the insider told the ENQUIRER. “They don’t want Scott taking the kids anywhere now unless someone is with him.” What a Moron.
