According to a new report, Tarek El Moussa has something in common with Ben Affleck. No, the Flip or Fop co-host has not been selected to portray Batman; nor is he good friends with Matt Damon. But Tarek has been accused of sleeping with the nanny of his children, an allegation that has surfaced just days after we learned Tarek is now separated from wife Christina. The HGTV stars confirmed their split last week after a scary incident between the couple in May finally went public. Following an argument with Christina, Tarek grabbed a gun and stormed off into the woods near his Orange Country home, prompting a 911 call from a frantic Christina, who feared Tarek was suicidal. Authorities arrived on the scene and confiscated a number of weapons inside the couple’s residence, with Tarek assuring everyone that he simply needed to blow off some steam. But the viral nature of this story forced Christina and Tarek to admit that they’ve been separated for several months. Via statement, the Flip or Floppers said: Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed. During the [separation] process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be. Since this admission, it has also come out that the stars have been dating other people. And not just random people, either. Christina is allegedly getting it on with Gary Anderson , the family contractor who actually witnessed Tarek’s aforementioned breakdown. Moreover, TMZ now claims that Tarek had a romance with 23-year-old Alyssa Logan, the nanny who was taking care of Tarek and Christina’s two kids, while also performing assistant chores for the family. HOWEVER, unlike Affleck, Jude Law or Gavin Rossdale – all stars who have reportedly screwed their nannies – Tarek is not accused of cheating on Christina with Logan. The relationship apparently started after he and Christina broke up. Tarek even let Logan go as a nanny once he started to develop feelings for her, making their dalliance a tad less shady. Still, though, that has to be sort of weird for everyone involved, right? According to TMZ, Tarek and Alyssa dated for about a month in October and that was it. “We have both dated other people following the separation, but neither of us is ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship,” the couple said in another joint statement after news of their separation made headlines. Tarek and Christina seem committed to the series as business partners, even if they are no longer life partners. Heck, perhaps they’re even faking this drama in order to remain relevant, although we somehow doubt it. They just don’t seem like the type. Do you hope Tarek and Christina get back together?
