The founder of the pizza franchise, John Schnatter, had to step down from his CEO position last year after he admitted to using the n-word during a conference call. Today, according to WJLA, Schnatter will be donating $1 million to a historically Black college, Simmons College of Kentucky. In exchange for his donation, the school’s president went to bat for Schnatter in an attempt to perfume the stench of racism. News outlets report John Schnatter announced the donation Wednesday at Simmons College of Kentucky. The college’s president, the Rev. Kevin Cosby, and its board of trustees chairman, Mark Lynn, emphasized that people should focus on Schnatter’s actions and not his words. Actions, not words. Got it… We just hope that this money goes to truly help students who want to get their education, but Papa John, we ain’t forget.

She spoke to the Associated Press about her journey. Abi, who was born JoAnn Kelly, claimed that she had seen the hellish part of the game and wanted no parts. But she couldn’t leave music alone. In the midst of everything she’s gone through, music has been a solace. And when your father’s R. Kelly, things can get rough. Abi explained when her father’s “sins” started seeping into her own life. “At home it’s normal, you’re living a life with your parents; your dad and mom aren’t going to go into all the bad things that might be going on outside of home,” she said, “but kids in school don’t necessarily care. Fifth and sixth grade is when I started learning the sore part of it, the not so good part. I think that was the hardest part for me because for so long I went with this image of who my dad (was) and what my family (was).” When her classmates started telling her stories about her own father, Abi said there were times when she considered suicide. I’ve definitely come across turmoil … being judged for really no reason at all, just based off associations. I’ve been pushing through it. Me making the art, it saved my life so there’s nothing really that would be able to stop me.” Abi released her debut project this past March with the help of her sister Jaah Kelly, who produced the album. He has made mistakes in his life and other things that he’s dealing with, but when it comes to that, I can’t take that away from him. That’s the one thing that will always keep us connected.” Abi believed that she could rekindle the relationship with her father. The two collaborated on a song called “Wanna Be There.” It appeared on Kelly’s 2015 album The Buffet. “At that time I was in a place where I was genuinely trying to have a relationship with my father. But it was so complicated at that time, as it always is. It was a great experience, I’m glad that I did it, but it just wasn’t like what everybody assumed, and that’s the part that sucks. It wasn’t this big kumbaya moment.” If it didn’t happen then, the likelihood of it happening now with R. Kelly being in jail as he awaits his trial in April is unlikely. This weekend get ready for of the release of one of the creepiest, wildest and longest movies of the year, “It Chapter Two” . It has a run time of almost three hours but you’ll definitely get your money’s worth as Pennywise prepares to sink his teeth into the children of Derry one more time. The Losers are all grown up and most of them have left town, all of them except Mike, played by Isiah Mustafa, he has stayed in Derry and realized Pennywise is back so he calls up his childhood friends and tell them it’s time for them to return to kill him once and for all and he knows the way to do it. It Chapter Two, was highly entertaining and had me jumping out of my seat on several occasions so it does the job, you want it to do. I had the opportunity to screen this movie for a room full of cool kids and fans in Atlanta, last month and they left scared out of their minds. The Silverado offers a street-performance appearance for the LT, with body-color trim, full LED lighting. Super bright fog lamps, headlamps, and taillamps in case Pennywise tried to come to drool all over me and up to 22-inch wheels in case things really go left. I wasn’t taking any chances. I did all of this so I could sit down with the cast of It in the town Derry… Even if it was on a lot in LA. This week’s episode of Extra Butter w/ Xilla Valentine is very fun and entertaining. You’ll see appearances from Jack Dylan Grazer, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacob, Bill Hader, Andy Bean, James Ransone, and Isaiah Mustafa who talk about It Chapter 2, Impractical Jokers, Snoop Dogg and share the wildest things they can imagine on the spot.
