Guess Which Movie is Flirting With a Rare 0% on Rotten Tomatoes?

Of the hundreds of films reviewed and ranked each year at Rotten Tomatoes, only a handful make it into theaters with the spectacular disapproval of every critic who laid eyes on it. And tomorrow, after a long summer of bashings , trashings and general eviscerations , one such film may arrive tomorrow in the season’s grand finale of futility — a 0-percent rating. Any guesses?

Meet the Fockers Trailer: Even More Projectile Spurting Than The Exorcist

There is a moment while watching the international trailer for Meet the Fockers (Spanish-subtitled, because why not) where you may think, “This looks tolerable. Hey, Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller aren’t at odds anymore. That’s good, maybe they’re doing something different with this franchise.” Then Stiller’s son projectile-vomits in his face, and Stiller himself squirts blood on his entire family.

‘American Idol’ Contestants Want Lady Gaga, Harry Connick Jr. To Judge

Season-nine singers Lee DeWyze, Siobhan Magnus and more chat about their dream “Idol” panel for the show’s upcoming tenth season. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by James Lascina Lee DeWyze Photo: MTV News The rumor-mill has been churning non-stop about which big-name celebs will step behind the “American Idol” judges’ table for the upcoming tenth season. Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in the running, alongside Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and country diva Shania Twain. Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Paula Abdul and Usher have also turned up on “Idol” judge wish lists. One group of people that has had firsthand experience with the judges’ feedback is the “American Idol” contestants. On the Los Angeles stop of the “Idol” summer tour on Friday (August 13), the season-nine contenders spoke with MTV News about their dream judging panel. “I think Harry Connick Jr. would be really good because he was amazing [as a mentor] on the show,” said Katie Stevens. “Supposedly Elton John was talked about. I think that would be really cool too. Hey, maybe J.Lo, J.Lo’s cool.” Aaron Kelly is also on Team Connick but said that with “Idol’s” newly-lowered age minimum, contestants and fans could benefit from the perspective of an artist who has scored success early on. “I think a young judge would be a good idea. Taylor Swift or somebody that got started young,” Kelly observed. “There’s a lot of teenage fans that watch the show … so also a young judge would bring in that audience.” Spunky singer Siobhan Magnus suggested the show should incorporate celebs outside of music for the next judges’ panel. “I think the best choice, no question, would be Pee Wee Herman. I’m pushing for it. I’m advocating every chance I get to say it. I think that Pee Wee Herman should be a judge on ‘American Idol,’ ” Magnus declared. She did have some musicians in mind for the gig, who would also make the show a big adventure. “Maybe Ozzy [Osbourne]. Just [because] how fun would that be? Everyone would be like, ‘What did he just say?’ [Or] maybe someone zany like Lady Gaga who’s huge now and just so creative.” Other season-nine contestants are feeling the idea of bringing a little comedy to the competition. In addition to suggesting his fellow “Idol” contender Michael Lynche and ’90s hip-hop duo Kid ‘N Play, Andrew Garcia rattled off names like Carrot Top and Tony Danza as stars he would put on his dream judges’ table. “[Tony Danza is] a cool guy and it’d be cool to have him on the show,” Garcia reasoned. Lee DeWyze also mentioned Danza and threw in Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider as potential celebs on his ideal panel, but admitted that he didn’t wasn’t married to a particular lineup. “I don’t know. I’m just throwing random names [out there],” the “Idol” champ shrugged. “But who knows, it could be anybody.” Lynche said he would keep a connection to the original judges’ table but also switch it up with some fresh faces. “You gotta keep the dawg [Randy Jackson] because [he’s] so classic. I thought J. Lo was a good pick. I heard that she was rumored to be one of the people up for it,” Lynche said. The singer also suggested that he has the chops to dole out feedback to “Idol” hopefuls. “Why not just pick me for the last one?” he said. “Put Big Mike up there.” Casey James said he would keep the final decisions about who moves on each week to the fans. “Three random people from the crowd that were clapping really loud for me,” is who James said he would snag as judges. Didi Benami said celebs such as Bret Michaels, Tyler, Twain and Lopez would make good judges but also mentioned that star power isn’t the most important thing when it comes to picking “Idol” critics. “I don’t really have a dream panel,” said Benami. “I just want them to be good and help with the contestants.” Who would be on your dream “American Idol” judging panel? ‘American Idol’ Wannabes ‘In It To Win It’ At New Jersey Tryouts

‘I’m going all the way to Hollywood this time,’ one repeat auditioner tells MTV News. By James Dinh An “American Idol” auditioner Photo: MTV News “American Idol” might not have announced the final judges’ panel for the upcoming 10th season, but that hasn’t kept the show from kicking off the search for new singers. On Tuesday, MTV News caught up with a few “Idol” wannabes at the East Rutherford, New Jersey, auditions to get an idea of who we’ll be rooting for next season. “I did make it to the next round,” Stewart Taylor told MTV News. “I’m very, very, very excited, and I’m not stopping here, baby. I’m going all the way to Hollywood this time, because I did this last year and almost made it. You’re in it to win it.” Gregory Higbee explained the preliminary audition round, which isn’t quite the wacky tryouts you see at the start of the season. “You stand up there, one at a time, in front of the judges and sing your song. It’s usually 20 or 30 seconds long, so after everyone sings, they’ll call you all towards the desk, and they’ll tell you whether you’ve made it or not,” Higbee explained. “There’s no feedback. There’s no ‘You should work on this.’ It’s just ‘I’m sorry, you didn’t make it.’ ” While some contestants, like Heather Snare, were confident they’d make it through, others were surprised when they heard the judges give them the boot. Erik Mason waited about an hour to see the judges but was not picked for the next round. “I was a Disney Dream Ticket holder , and I thought I was good enough, but I guess I’m not what they’re looking for,” he said. Another contestant, Gabrielle Gorman, told MTV News: “I thought it went well, but obviously it wasn’t good enough for this season.” But Gorman kept her head high as she revealed she’ll “have to come again next year and try again.” Marvin Black had already envisioned what it would be like to receive his “golden ticket,” but reality set in when he didn’t make it. “I thought I was going to make my way through, going to sing, get the golden ticket, run with the golden ticket to the backstage,” Black said. “But about after 30 to 45 seconds of singing, they cut my wristband and told me to get out.” Brianna Sent, who dressed up as a life-size banana, believed that if “American Idol” really wanted viewership, they would have let her though, noting, “Everyone was digging it, and it was happening.” How do you think this season of “American Idol” will fare compared to previous ones? Tell us what you think in the comments! Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.

Guess she couldn’t hang with the wild times of Snooki, J-Woww, The Situation and friends, who will now bank an impressive $30,000 per episode. That’s up from $5,000 per episode in Season One. The Situation was the first to re-sign. The rest followed. All water under the polluted bridge now. Let the Jersey Shore quotes , club-hopping, fist-pumping, hair-oiling, fake-tanning and boardwalk brawling begin.
