Chris Harrison on Juan Pablo Galavis: I Still Like the Guy, But …

Juan Pablo Galavis’ decisions this season, followed by his comments on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special baffled everyone who saw them. Especially the man sitting across from him and forced to engage him. “I had like a pack of Tums and Pepto Bismol. I was just downing it during the show,” Chris Harrison joked to Access Hollywood in a new interview. “It was an interesting, bizarre ride.” “I know I say this a lot about being dramatic and controversial and all that, but literally, in 12 years, it was the most confusing, bizarre show I’ve ever seen.” Juan Pablo Interview with Chris Harrison Regarding the most awkward part, when Chris said that Juan Pablo had a surprise , only to have Galavis act like he had no clue what he was talking about? “Juan Pablo told us in St. Lucia, that [on] ‘After the Final Rose,’ I have a big surprise for you,” Chris said. “He said it to one of our executives at ABC.” “[We said] ‘Wow, OK,’ because we were all a little unsatisfied with the ending and the non-proposal [to Nikki] and the, ‘I like you a lot’ ending to the show.” “But he’s like, ‘Don’t worry. After the Final Rose, I have a big surprise for you,’” Harrison recounted. “We’re like, ‘OK, great, maybe he’ll do something big.” Even one day before the taping, he thought the surprise – most likely a proposal to Nikki Ferrell or at least some declaration of love – was still coming. “Someone got a text, I heard, yesterday, that reiterated, ‘I’m gonna have a big surprise at the show tonight,’ so I thought [it] would at least be, ‘I love you.’” But when Harrison asked Juan Pablo about the surprise after The Bachelor finale , the star said he didn’t have one, and appeared utterly clueless. “I think that was the mood he was in,” Chris said. “He was in a defiant, defensive mood.” Why? Who knows. Harrison also blogged about the interview on EW: Juan Pablo After the Final Rose Interview “The interview with Juan Pablo and Nikki was just a bit odd. I know it was orchestrated by him to not say how he feels about Nikki. The only thing I can’t figure out is why?” “It was a rough ride for Juan Pablo this season.the good news is … it worked! He found a great woman in Nikki and they are in love and happy.” “So of all things to hide I’m not sure why they chose that. I’m not sure what the endgame or goal was in not speaking about his feelings.” “I know it’s something Nikki was very uncomfortable with,” Harrison went on, adding “but I think she really felt like she needed to support her man.” “I’m not sure when or where along the way Juan Pablo decided to fight this process, but he certainly did. I was very sorry to see it end like that because it didn’t have to.” “That was a choice made entirely by Juan Pablo.” “I will wrap this up by saying, I’m not angry at Juan Pablo nor do I dislike the guy. Am I often confused and puzzled by his behavior and his thoughts?” “Absolutely, but that doesn’t anger me. I wish he and Nikki well. I truly hope Juan Pablo especially can find peace somewhere in his life.” “I hope he will see that there are many people around him who love him and are trying to help him, but in the end he must make the choice to listen and let them in.” You tell us: Was JP the worst Bachelor ever?   Yes. Grey’s Anatomy Stunner: Who’s Returning?

In a shocking announcement, Grey’s Anatomy producer Shonda Rhimes confirmed today that Isaiah Washington will check back in to her ABC series to help bid farewell to Sandra Oh in May. The actor departed the series at the conclusion of Season 3 amidst a firestorm he created by referring to then-colleague T.R. Knight by a gay slur. Washington’s character, Dr. Preston Burke, was written off the drama when he left Oh’s Cristina at the altar. Oh, meanwhile, said last year that she would be leaving the drama following Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 . Said Rhimes in a statement: “It’s important to me that Cristina’s journey unfolds exactly as it should. Burke is vital to that journey – he gives her story that full-circle moment we need to properly say goodbye to our beloved Cristina Yang.” No word yet on what brings Burke back into the fold or how Rhimes will send Yang on her way. But it’s been presumed for awhile now that the surgeon will not be killed off. Washington starred briefly on NBC’s Bionic Woman after getting the boot from Grey’s Anatomy, but will soon pick up his first regular TV role in years when he appears on The CW’s  The 100 .

Yeezus Concert Movie Trailer: Released by Kanye West!

According to a new report, Kanye West may help write a biopic about his life that would star Kim Kardashian in a major role. We cannot verify the accuracy of this information. But we can confirm that the rapper will soon release a concert movie using footage from his “Yeezus” tour, similar to the films made in the past by One Direction and Justin Bieber . “Yeezus film directed by Hype Williams coming to theaters,” Kanye simply wrote as a caption to the following trailer. American Idol Results: First Finalist Gone!

We kicked off the first American Idol results show of Season 13 with a group sing and a promo for this summer’s tour. Okay, not the strongest opening. But, hey, there are 58 minutes to kill before we find out the initial finalist eliminated, isn’t there? After learning Ben Briley , Alex Preston and Jena Irene are say, Malaya Watson is sent to the Bottom 3. Up next? Dexter Roberts is safe. Majesty Rose and Sam Woolf are as well. But MK Nobilette is off to the Bottom 3. C.J. Harris, Caleb Johnson, Emily Piriz and Jessica Meuse? On to the next round. Kristen O’Conner? To the Bottom 3 – and there you have it. We then learn that O’Connor earned the least number of votes and her attempt at a judges’ save (“Turning Tables”) falls on deaf ears. KRISTEN O’CONNOR IS THE FIRST AMERICAN IDOL FINALIST ELIMINATED. Her name is Rosalind Lipsett….I follow her on INSTAGRAM …I’ve talked about her before…you know who she is…and if you don’t you’re an idiot…but we already know that… That said, she is an Irish bikini model, who lives in LA and who stripped down into a bikini for a Spring Break themed shoot…that unlike actual spring break, that is is happening in colleges across the nation the next few weeks…don’t smell like all the date rape and new herpes outbreaks that happen when half naked and drunk idiots come together for organized parties…during a season that tarnishes the genitals of many young people, the season that accounts for a lot of Plan B sales, the season that guidos work out all year for….but rather smell quite lovely, like a dream, and not just because she is an Irish girl who looks amazing in a bikini…and who is tanned….and lovely…when all the Irish girls I’ve seen are fat, scary, booze soaked monsters, while Rosalind…is a fantasy…the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow…the leprechaun I only see when I do narcotics…the fantasy that based on these pics…is a fucking reality… I hope to see a lot more of this one… FOLLOW ROSALIND ON INSTAGRAM

The Bachelor Promo: Hometown Dates, Fantasy Suites and Heartbreak … For Whom?

Juan Pablo Galavis is on to the hometown date portion of The Bachelor, which can only mean heartbreak and high drama for at least one of the remaining women. Maybe all of them, from what we know from The Bachelor spoilers , and even just the promo which aired after Monday’s episode, which looks pretty intense. The hometown dates and fantasy suite episodes will air on back to back nights next week, and from the looks of this sneak peek … better hold onto something: The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 8 Promo NOTE: Remember to watch The Bachelor online at TV Fanatic to catch up on last week’s crazy episode! Andi Dorfman takes Juan Pablo to Atlanta, Clare Crawley meets him in Sacramento, Nikki Ferrell brings him to Missouri, and Renee Oteri romances him in Florida. And she was once a witch. And she may be anti-semitic, according to Kim. Grey’s Anatomy Signs Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey For Two More Seasons

Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey have signed two-year contracts to stay with ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy through the spring of 2016, according to reports. The actors who have played Dr. Meredith Grey and Dr. Derek Shepherd since the show’s debut in 2005 will keep the actors on the show through Season 12. ABC has yet to officially pick up the medical drama beyond Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, but it seemed more than likely before this and even more so now. Fellow Grey’s original Sandra Oh won’t be joining them, however. The perennial Emmy contender announced in August that this spring is her swan song. Six originals in all – Oh, Dempsey, Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr. – came into the current season with expiring contracts. The future for the others is unclear, but with Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey , plus a bunch of newcomers on board, the show will go on … for awhile it appears. Trace Adkins Fights Trace Adkins Impersonator, Checks Into Rehab for Alcohol Abuse

Trace Adkins has checked into a facility for alcohol abuse. The country singer, who had been sober for a dozen years, reportedly fell off the wagon this week while headlining a cruise to Jamaica. According to TMZ, the artist actually got into a physical altercation during that trip… with a Trace Adkins impersonator who was doing karaoke, no less. “Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism,” the star’s rep says in a statement. “As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family’s privacy will be respected.” We wish Adkins the best of luck in dealing with his demons.

Kaitlyn Jackson Blows Away American Idol Judges with Original, Personal Song

Kaitlyn Jackson got American Idol Season 13 off to a very strong start this week. The 15-year old New Jersey native sang an original song she wrote in honor of her grandfather, who suffered a heart attack while watching the aspiring singer perform at a recent county fair. Jackson’s grandfather survived that incident, but passed away before Kaitlyn could blow away Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban with “Another Angel.” “I can start the voting process by saying 100 percent absolutely,” Connick said in response, to which both other panelists agreed.
