Said the group in a statement: “This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour’s conclusion.” The Wanted formed in 2009 and released the debut album in 2010, which included smashes such “Glad You Came” and “All Time Low.” Their upcoming Word of Mouth tour is set to wrap in May. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 tonight, earning a trip to the Super Bowl against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on February 2. The game was up for grabs until a Colin Kaepernick pass that was up for grabs in the endzone with 30 seconds remaining… only for Richard Sherman to make an incredible play while defending Michael Crabtree and bat the pigskin away for an interception. And it’s safe to say Sherman was proud of himself afterward. In the cornerback’s postgame interview with Erin Andrews , he referred to himself as the best corner in football, while labeling Crabtree as “sorry” and going off in epic fashion. According to Seattle Post-Intelligencer: A Seattle man accused of underpaying and hiding a live-in maid was sentenced Wednesday to probation. Having pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, longtime Magnolia resident Romulo “Ome” Almeda Sr. will spend four years under court supervision for illegally employing the Filipina woman. Almeda, 73, shorted the woman $90,500 in pay over the four years she spent working as a live-in maid, landscaper and nanny for his family. He has already paid those back wages, and did not face jail time due to a plea agreement. Federal agents began investigating Almeda after the woman broke away with the help of a local pastor. According to court papers, the woman worked long hours for a few hundred dollars a month while living in near-complete seclusion. The woman was paid $400 a month, far less than the minimum wage she was due. She sent all but $50 to $100 a month home to support relatives in the Philippines. Partly because she no longer held a valid visa, the woman was kept from leaving the family homes she lived in. According to prosecutors, she wasn’t allowed to attend church due to fears she would be spotted and deported. She “did not do anything on her own; not shopping, the movies, having meals with friends,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Ye-Ting Woo said in court papers. “She did nothing but work for the family.” SMH. The holiday season is pretty stressful for people trying to buy the latest Furbie for their illegitimate kids… Sometimes you have to go to extreme measures, even a month before Christmas, to get the money you need to help carry your family/drug addiction through Christmas…This is a modern day “It’s a Wonderful Life”… This footage is from November 25, in Seattle, where a dude robbed people of their phones before one passenger, who probably hated his life and was ready to die, proven in that he was on the bus to begin with…reminding us to never fuck with a dude on a bus, you don’t know how much he hates his life…because buses are pretty much rock bottom. Either way, the rest of the bus jumped in, subdued the robber in a people, despite our differences, coming together, to do what’s right for man-kind, inspirational moment, that makes you think there is still hope for our species…even though there isn’t.
