Mischa Barton was hospitalized on a 5150 on Wednesday and she is being kept beyond the 72 hour hold to ensure her safety. Mischa is still considered at risk of hurting herself. For the last few months there have been various reports of Mischa engaging in extreme partying and other at risk behavior. It was reported that Mischa was placed on the hold after she went on a coke binge for 3 days and then alarmed friends who believed that she was suicidal. There are several rumors that Mischa is having financial difficulties and is trying to party hard to forget her problems. I could see this being true, because everything seems to have went bad since she left the (check coming in everyweek sitcom) ’The OC’. Sure, its cancelled now, but her leaving the show pretty much led to that, right?
