But it wasn’t as simple as walking up to the counter — before Obama came anywhere near the Budweiser tent, his security team descended in full force … casing the perimeter with bomb-sniffing dogs. Once the coast was clear, the user who posted the pics says BO shelled out cash for 12 beer tickets — two for himself … and ten for the next ten customers to approach the tent. Lindsay Lohan has been actin a damn fool in Holllyweird again : Lindsay Lohan isn’t okay with sharing the spotlight at her favorite Hollywood night club. A source tells Us Weekly that the Liz & Dick actress, 25, appeared to be back to her old, headline-making antics at Bootsy Bellows on Tuesday night — and put a wrench in E! reality star Francesca Eastwood’s birthday bash. “Francesca was celebrating her birthday with around a dozen friends in a private area when Lindsay came over and started screaming that Francesca should leave,” the source says. “She was yelling ‘I’m a star, she’s a nobody, get her out of here!’” The source continues, “One poor guy came over and tried to calm [Lindsay] down and she acted aggressively. At that point the security told her to leave and it was totally embarrassing. She is acting like some bad ’80s film star, and it is hard to watch because she needs help.” But before Lohan embarked on her journey home, she and her party made one more cringe-worthy snafu. “Lindsay’s friend was driving and they sped out and almost hit one of the valet guys,” a witness tells Us. The Mean Girls actress has spent the summer hard at work on her upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic, in which she stars opposite Grant Bowler as Richard Burton. In June, an on-set source told Us that Lohan made no buts about hiding her chain smoking habits to soothe her nerves. “Literally every time she finishes a scene she lights up another cigarette,” the source explained. “You can hear the crew saying, ‘That’s cut — get a cigarette for Lindsay.’ In between takes she would sit on the director’s chair puffing on her cigarettes. My friend and I had been looking for Justin so much this summer. We would go places we thought he would be at but we could never find him. I started getting really upset because I have been a fan for 4 years. My friend promised me we would meet him soon. On August 3rd 2012, at about 9 at night I got a phone call from my best friend who promised I’d meet him and said, “Justin is here! I’m standing right next to his car.” I told her that I would be there in 2 minutes. I started crying, begging my mom to take me even though she was with her friend. Finally I got there and my mom goes to park because she wants to see Justin too. She drops me off in the valet area. I see my best friend, my other friend and her sister. They are trying to be low-key because the security would end up kicking us out. I finally calmed down a little bit so we could make a plan. After going upstairs to downstairs about 3 times, we finally stayed upstairs right by the movie theatre where Justin was apparently at. Then a security guard said, “Why are you guys standing here” and my mom said, “Oh we’re waiting for a movie, thank you.” The guard goes, “You can’t be loitering around here,” so we went to sit down on a bench nearby. I was standing up in front of my friends while they were sitting down. I turn around and there’s Moshe walking out of the theater and right behind him is JUSTIN BIEBER. I couldn’t believe my eyes. He looked exactly how he looked like in pictures. He was so perfect. I didn’t even know he was as perfect as he seems. We asked to take a picture so he hangs up the phone. I took pictures of three of my friends and him. Then he starts to walk away, I was so speechless I didn’t say anything the whole time. But as he was walking away my friend said, “Wait, she wants a picture with you.” We pose and he took his glasses off for my picture and I was so shocked. Even more shocked than I already was. As we were going down the escalator, I didn’t notice that Alfredo was standing next to me. In front of me was Moshe and Justin. Further down was my friends. I didnt realize Justin was in front of me, until I accidently ran into him…on a escaltor. I don’t even know how thats possible. He turned around and I said, “Omg I’m so so sorry!!” and he just smiled at me. After he went down to his car and I just lost it. Once he left I started screaming and crying. On the 17th of July I got up at 4am and got mum to drop me in the city. I had no clue where I was going but Kyle and Jackie O said that Justin would be on at 8am, so I set off to World Square where the studio is. I got there and then found out that it was all pre-recorded. I was quite upset but I soon found out the hotel he was rumoured to be at. I got to the hotel and there was no sign of him, just about 20 fans. I waited and waited until Scrappy and Dan came out, said hey and then got into the car. I stayed at that hotel for 10 hours and there was not one sign of the Biebs but we knew he was in there. I left that night and then went to a hotel in the city where my auntie was staying so I could be up early for his Sunrise performance (which I won tickets to). I woke up at 3am on the 18th of July and walked to the International Passager Terminal and waited in line until getting into the show . Everyone was all hyped up and at about 8am Justin came out. He sang acoustic to us and it was the most amazing performance ever! After this I got in a taxi and went to Justin’s hotel. No one was really sure but a lot of police came and they had barriers put up and all, the security was growing and so were the amount of people. At the start there were about 50 and then more and more started to come. We were all standing there waiting and at 12:03 Justin walked out of his hotel, we all tried not to scream but with about 300 people there it was hard. He started on one side and started coming closer and closer to me. People were pushing but that didn’t stop Justin. He walked to me and I held onto his hand and he grabbed mine back. Because of the crowd, we couldnt take a photo but he looked at me and said hi! This was the most amazing experience. My name is Pania and I have been with Justin since his YouTube days. I’ve gotten more dedicated over the years, Justin has inspired me to follow my dreams and he has impacted my life so much. Everyone told me to “get over him” or “you’re never going to meet him,” but Justin taught me to never say never, I stood strong . I knew that my day would come. It was the first or second day of school holidays when my friend told me Justin was performing at Australia Got Talent . Right then and there I just had this feeling that I was going to meet him. Since my Aunty’s work sponsors the show, she got me and my best friend Amilia VIP tickets! I had missed out on Justin’s My World Tour so I knew this was my chance to see him live. Preparing for the big day, I wrote Justin a letter in hope of maybe meeting him. The day had come, I was so excited. We saw so many cars coming in, we were all so confused as to what car was Justin’s. We saw Kenny come in a normal car so we knew Justin was coming soon! Even seeing Kenny was exciting and hard to believe . We found out later sneaky Justin came in a blue van and we didn’t even know. We got into our seats which were close and we saw Moshe on the side. I was basically right in front (but their was a massive security was in front of me) slightly blocking my view. Justin’s dancers came out and me and my friend screamed out, “You guys are so hot” and Luke (Justin’s dancer) smiled at us. The time had come, I heard the start of ALAYLM, the sliding doors opened, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Justin came out doing his sliding walk, he was so so perfect, I actually couldn’t believe it my idol was right in front of my eyes . He came and reached his hands out and I got to touch his glove. In the middle of the performance, Justin ran into the middle and got ambushed, the security guards in front of me were gone so I knew I had to go right up to the stage. After Justin got off the stage we ran outside for fresh air and Justin’s crew was out there. They had put gates up so we all just waited. We were singing the “Dan Kanter Song” to Dan and talking to his dancers. Finally Justin came out and saw us all. I was on the right hand side of the gates and he came directly to me first. Can you believe it?! I was so starstruck. I hugged him and I was too shocked to even talk, he put his arm around me to take a photo. My phone was frozen on the camera so thanks to my phone, he has his arm around me for like 30 extra seconds. We took 1 photo, and I just knew I needed one more, so I went for the kiss on the check & he winked in it, it just completed the photo! He moved onto other girls and I saw Alfredo behind him ready to film. I said, “Omg Alfredo.” He smiled and grabbed my hand, his hands are so so smooth and he is just so perfect. I asked him for a picture but he was filming so he said, “I cant right now” in the nicest way with his smile . The Jackson family feud has simmered down somewhat, but relations are still icy as four of Michael’s siblings are now banned from their mom’s house. Michael Jackson’s kids Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson – subjects of a bizarre custody feud – are currently staying at Katherine Jackson’s L.A. home. The kids’ cousin and temporary guardian, T.J. Jackson, has been advised by lawyers for the Michael Jackson estate on who should not be allowed in . As such, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Janet Jackson have been 86’d. T.J.’s lawyer Charles Shultz says he’s instructed the security team accordingly and his actions are “in compliance” with a judge’s orders, not arbitrary. Those on the not-allowed list were either present on July 23 “or in some way participated in the events surrounding that date,” Shultz stated. It was then that Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson arrived at Katherine’s home and allegedly tried to physically remove Prince, Paris and Blanket. Randy, Jermaine, Janet and sister Rebbie Jackson have been accused by some of being motivated by money to separate Katherine from the kids. Michael’s will, which left his estate to his children and provided an ample allowance to their guardian (Katherine), obviously stands in their way. Since Michael’s death in 2009, Katherine Jackson had been receiving a monthly allowance of $86,000 as guardian of Prince, Paris and Blanket. For the time being, that sum goes to T.J. Jackson. While the four siblings behind the failed family coup aren’t allowed at the house, Shultz said they aren’t forbidden from contact with their mother: “In addition, Mrs. Jackson is completely free to talk to whomever she chooses and is free to come and go with anyone whom she chooses.” Katherine Jackson was reported missing July 22, triggering the latest chapter of this bizarre saga. Her whereabouts at that time are still unclear. Just prior to that, five of Katherine’s kids sent a letter alleging their mother is being mistreated by the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate. This triggered rumors that they even staged her kidnapping, but separating truth from fiction in this particular story is a difficult task indeed. In any case, Friday, Katherine’s attorney, Perry Sanders, told the Los Angeles Times that the 82-year-old had reunited with her grandchildren. He said of her splitting custody with T.J.: “[Katherine] is eager to enjoy her great relationship with these children, while deeding over some of the stressors that go with being a guardian.” While Katherine was initially “devastated’ to lose guardianship, a family insider tells E! that T.J.’s temporary guardianship “is good news.” “It is not about taking [guardianship] from Katherine. They are trying to protect the kids from the other family. It’s hard to imagine most folks will be eager to rush into cinemas this weekend following the tragedy out of Aurora, Colorado, even those who’ve been anticipating the release of The Dark Knight Rises for months. While Matt Patches over at Hollywood.com thoughtfully wonders if audiences will return swiftly to theaters, The Wrap reports that Warner Bros. are themselves scrambling to figure out how to balance their multi-million dollar Dark Knight Rises roll-out campaign with common decency and empathy for the victims, their families, and a shaken nation. It’s not that audiences might recoil from Batman, presuming some direct link between the comics or the character somehow incited suspect James Holmes to allegedly pre-meditate his attack on the dozens of men, women, and children at Aurora’s Century 16, despite unconfirmed reports that he may have had hair dyed in the style of The Joker; violence in media doesn’t “make” people kill, though access to guns and combat paraphernalia helps sick people do terrible things. And though fanboy ire this week had reached alarming levels with the hate-speech and death threats lobbied at critics of The Dark Knight Rises , any true Bat-fan knows that the DC hero not only fights to protect lives, he’s staunchly anti-gun. (A scene in TDKR highlights this.) So let’s not even start to blame the movies for what happened in Aurora. Besides: When tragedy strikes niche communities , it reminds us that we’re not so divided after all. Fandom is what made the Aurora victims sitting ducks for the gun man, who burst through the packed theater’s emergency exit doors just minutes after the film had begun. These were people who had anticipated TDKR so much many of them likely bought tickets in advance, wanting to be among the first to see the film. The shooter seemed to be preying on fans, not representing them, though his motives have yet to be revealed. Writing in The New Yorker, Anthony Lane proposes doing away with midnight movies for fear of copycats, though his secondary reason somewhat condescendingly critiques the practice of the midnight screening altogether: “…those screenings, starting when most people are in bed, often have a crazed and hallucinated air, which is all part of the game to those who enjoy them — anyone who has driven to a theatre to fetch teen-aged Harry Potter devotees, as they wander out in costume at three o’clock in the morning, can attest to that weary delirium — but which, right now, seems volatile, ominous, and redundant. Theaters around the country will be beefing up security this weekend, with police in NYC and elsewhere promising increased presences at TDKR screenings. But whether or not more officers and metal detectors and other security measures are enacted going forward, the fact remains that this was a lone gunman who entered through an emergency door and shot dozens of people in cold blood. How much can security help, except to encourage moviegoers to head to the multiplex, to not live in fear of tragedy striking again? Variety’s Josh Dickey reports ( via Twitter ) that WB is not considering pulling screenings, and given the financial investment and massive 4,400-theater release plans it’s hard to imagine they would. Cancelling a celebratory press event in Paris is one thing; letting audiences decide if they’re ready to head into theaters, with the unshakable specter of Aurora lingering in the hearts and minds of just about everyone, is another. Our names are Elana and Billie. June 15, 2012 was single handedly the best day of our whole entire lives. Justin Bieber had been scheduled to be at the Today Show , so we went to the city on June 14th, hoping that we might see him at his hotel or around town. We also stopped by the Today Show and it was so crowded that even if we had camped out, we wouldn’t have had a good view of the stage. We went home and the next day we woke super early, took the 6:50 train, and headed to the Today Show. We were in the back of the stage but we got to watch the performance on the TVs they had set up and we had speakers next to us and he did such an AMAZING job! We left the concert a little early to go to the hotel we heard he was staying at. When we were at the hotel, the security guards swore to us that he wasn’t staying there. We were so upset, we left the hotel and we were gonna leave the city. We walked to the Rockefeller Plaza with little hope that we could still meet him. Luckily we saw like 10 people in Justin Bieber shirts standing outside the parking lot at the plaza, so we went over to them and asked them what they were waiting for. They said that they didn’t think Justin left the plaza yet, so we stayed outside with them for around two hours. After two hours the police were all saying that he’s coming out in five minutes. WE WERE FREAKING OUT!!! All of a sudden a black car came out of the parking lot driving like 90mph. He waved to us but then quickly kept driving. Without even realizing what was going on, we sprinted down the street. The police officers had to stop traffic since we were gonna get hit by cars and lucky for us, his car got stopped at a red light. We ran to the car and started banging on the window. He rolled down the window, grinned at us and said hi. We told him how amazing he did at the Today Show and he said thank you. We got pictures with him and we were the only people to get pictures. When the light switched to green, he rolled the window back up and drove away. We literally sprinted to the sidewalk and broke down in tears. We were screaming and crying. So many people came up to us and asked us to see pictures. An interviewer came up to us and interviewed us for the NBC documentary that’s going to be on TV Wednesday and Thursday. It was actually the best day of our lives. Never say never, one day you will meet Justin, I promise. My name is Shantal. I’m from Connecticut, so my cousin Kasey and I decided to camp outside of the Today Show to see Justin perform . Throughout the week, my friends we’re trying to trend #BiebsMeetShantal , which I didn’t know the reason as of why, but it trended #1 worldwide on Tuesday. Nothing had happened during the trend, so on Thursday I went down to NYC with Kasey and my mom. We made amazing friends in line, and we had heard that Justin was at the Trump Hotel in SoHo, so we had left (without permission) and took a subway to SoHo. We had no luck, but on our way back we had learned Justin had driven by, greeting fans. We were all hurt we missed our probably only chance to get close to Justin. I told my parents we were chasing his car, and so we avoided the trouble of leaving. So time went by and apparently the same friends who has trended #BiebsMeetShantal, began to trend #BiebsMeetShantalAtTheTodayShow and it was #1 worldwide again. Nothing had happened, and then it was around 11:55pm when I had received a direct message from Scooter Braun saying: “See u tomorrow.” I began to hastily direct message him back wondering what he had meant. I had gotten no response so I turned my phone off, and I turned it back on, I had seen a direct message from Kenny, asking for my number and telling me to meet him at 30 Rock at 6:30AM for an arrangement. I literally began flipping out, hyperventilating and just completely fangirling. At around 5:30, they began to let people into the show. I began to get nervous, because I didn’t want to be stuck inside the barricades when I have to meet Kenny. I was on the verge of crying at this point, because I was so confused as of what was happening. I was frantically messaging Kenny, trying to find out what was going on. Finally, I had received a call on where to go, and who to meet there. I met a guy Joe who took me into RockerFeller Plaza, downstairs to where Justin’s entire crew’s dressing room would be. We waited and we had met Kenny, Scrappy, DJ Tay James, Alfredo, and a few of the dancers, even Big Sean! Finally, I saw Justin coming through the door on my left, and I literally froze. He was past us when we finally decided to say Hi, and he gave us a peace sign before going into his dressing room. We waited around a bit, and Scooter came over to us, and we talked to him for a while, and he told us that Justin hates when he tucks his shirt into his pants, so Scooter tucked in his shirt and Justin called him a cowboy . After like 20 minutes Justin came running out of his dressing room with his microphone in and everything and was like, “HEY GUYS!” and we were like, “Hi Justin!” and he gave us a hug and told us he had to do soundcheck and he’d be down to hangout and take pictures after. We agreed and he started to walk away with Big Sean and Justin turned around and was like, “Aren’t you guys coming?” and we’re like “What?” and he’s like “Come on! Walk with us!” We couldn’t believe it, so we went after him and walked up the stairs with him and the crew, like an entourage. We reached the top of the stairs and honestly the room erupted into screams as we walked out the doors. Kenny handed us our passes and put us right next to the stage with the entire crew! Big Sean and his security were right next to us, and we wished him luck, he was honestly so nice. We watched Justin perform ‘Boyfriend’, ‘Baby’, and ‘As Long As You Love Me’. He got off stage for ‘All Around The World’ and let the dancers perform while he went back downstairs. Kenny told us to follow him and so we went downstairs. We talked to Scooter again, and he asked us how we were enjoying the show, and we we’re like, “It’s unreal.” Then Alfredo came over and was like, “It’s crazy up there,” and we talked to him, and then out of nowhere, Justin appeared behind Alfredo and was like play-choking him, and me and my cousin literally jumped against the wall, he scared us. Justin saw us and then copied us, going against the wall like us, and was like, “So I guess we’re gonna chill here right? And we all laughed. We were like thanking him for taking time to meet us. He would always smile at us, and was so genuinely happy. He asked us why we didn’t say Hi when he walked in and we were like, “You were the one who didn’t say hi!” and he was like “NO NO NO I SAID HI.” and we were like “LIES,” and Alfredo pointed at Justin’s bandana like you have this thing on bro, they can’t hear you. We we’re all joking around with each other. I asked him how his eyebrow was and he was showing us how it wouldn’t move, and I was moving one of my eyebrows mimicking him, and he was like, “Stop you’re faking it, you’re making fun of me.” He’s just so normal around his fans. We took pictures on his phone, we made thug faces in one picture , and it was funny because my cousin was like, “Let’s do thug faces,” which is a serious face, and he just knew. He laughed at it though, he was like “Thug faces haahhaahahahahah.” We continued talking for like 15 minutes, and I had told him about this awesome t-shirt design my friend had made, and I wanted to show him, but I didn’t have it on my phone. He had put his arm around me and was like, “Stay in school and I’ll design my own clothes, how about that?” and I was like “Fine I guess,” and then he gave me a huge kiss on the cheek and my face dropped. I couldn’t stop smiling. Afterwords we took a bunch of pictures, and Justin seemed upset he had to go perform. He gave us one last hug and told us he’d see us when he performs, and we were led outside to a spot near the stage. We watched Justin perform AGAIN, and honestly, it was amazing to see Justin give his all on stage. It was the best day of my entire life.
