Case in point, Charlize Theron’s radically different new ‘do for her upcoming role in “Mad Max: Fury Road” and Anne Hathaway’s super-shorn pixie look for her turn in the star-studded film adaptation of New York magazine’s Vulture blog recently caught up with Hathaway, who revealed that she is very much enjoying the close-cropped hairdo. “I did it for a film, so it really wasn’t about me and my security,” she said. “I’m just so pleased with how I look, so I now quite like having short hair.” The short hair is a requisite of sorts for Hathaway’s role in the film, in which she plays Fantine, an ill-fated prostitute who chops off her hair to buy food for her child, Cosette. The “Dark Knight Rises” actress also spoke about the pressure of having to sing one of the play’s most iconic numbers, “I Dreamed a Dream,” live on set during filming. “Well, that’s actually the thing we talked about when I first came in to film,” Hathaway said. “I apparently looked like I was ready to face the guillotines. They just kept telling me and the cast to ignore the iconic nature of ‘Les Miz’ and of the song.” Hathaway went on to say that she had to attempt to sing it as if it had never been sung or heard before, despite the fact that she basically grew up hearing the song. “My mom was in the show when I was a kid. Ray J was almost physically removed from the Billboard Music Awards last night after an angry confrontation with Whitney Houston’s family members. Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law/manager, was seated next to Ray J, the person Pat believes was a very bad influence on the late music legend. Minutes before a tribute to Whitney, in which Jordin Sparks sang and Bobbi Kristina Brown accepted an award, Pat asked her security to nix Ray J. After Whitney’s ex-BF refused to budge, Pat’s security summoned hotel security, along with several uniformed officers to physically remove Ray . Just before it got ugly, security warned Pat that things would likely get physical and it would almost be caught on video, just as Whitney was to be honored. Sources say Pat then grudgingly recanted and Ray J stayed. Later, Ray reportedly complained to friends about the incident, saying “Pat ruined what was a great opportunity to honor the woman who I loved.” A rep for the Houston family later admitted they did ask Ray J to be moved from his seat because Billboard told them they needed that particular seat. Ray J had a ticket with the proper seat number, so he refused to budge, and security was called, but the Houstons deny any lingering feud with Ray. Okay, so I know that this story is old, but I thought I would share it with you anyways. My name is Elizabeth and I’m from Louisville, Kentucky and I’m 15 years old. When I met Justin, it was September 19th 2009. At the time I was 12 years old and in 7th grade. Every year, a local radio station puts on a “Birthday Bash” and they invite singers to come, usually 5 acts. In 2009, (when the only song Justin had out was ‘One Time’) I found out that he was coming. I was so excited because the tickets are only $5. That year we were going to see Jay Sean, Jessie James, Justin Bieber, and 2 more that I cannot remember. My mom drove me downtown alone since my friend would be late because she had dance. We were driving around for about 10 minutes just trying to find a parking spot and suddenly, I just saw Justin walking with his mom and the girl from OLLG. I screamed and my mom almost side swept a car. It was about 3:30pm and the concert didn’t start until 5. Right after I screamed, my mom found a parking spot, I couldn’t believe it. This kind of thing never happens to me. I hopped out of the car and walked over to him. Okay, just so you know I’m a pretty shy person and I had no idea what to do. I didn’t want to scream and attack him. You will probably think what I did was weird but oh well. So I ran a little faster to catch up with them as my mom locked the car. Before I knew it, they made a right turn and started walking down an alley way that was just the backs of buildings. I looked at my mom and she was like, “Just go and ask him for a picture.” Like I said before, I’m a shy person so I decided just to walk behind them slowly without saying anything. I said “Justin,” but not loud enough for him to hear. After he didn’t respond, I was like, oh well. But then his mom turned around and saw me. She nudged Justin in the arm and then he turned around. We were about 15 or so feet apart and I sort of just looked at him and asked quietly. “…Erm, can I get a picture with you?” Without any hesitation he said sure. My mom still hadn’t caught up so in order to keep a small talk, he asked, “So who else is performing tonight?” I assumed that he already knew this but he didn’t want things to be awkward. I told him and then my mom came with the camera. He put his arm around me and my mom took 3 pictures. In one picture you can tell Justin was reading my shirt. In the picture he is smiling because it said “Lustin’ for Justin” I didn’t come up with this, the radio host did so I decided to put it on there too. I warn you that the pictures are EXTREMELY ugly because I was really awkward and I had recently got a new haircut and she gave me a mullet. Later on we saw him perform live! My name is Budoor, I’m 18, and My Bieber Experience finally happened on April 27 th , 2012 at the Tribeca Film Festival! I’ve been trying to meet Justin for years now! The first time, I went to his concert in Philadelphia November 14, 2010 when I traveled all the way from Bahrain (Middle East) to New York (14 hours worth of plane ride) and took a train to Philly to see his concert for a day. Although I didn’t get to meet him, I saw him in concert and ever since that day, I made it my mission to meet him. I recently moved to Toronto and have been trying to jump at any opportunity I would have to meet Justin. Being unlucky me, I would always miss his appearances in New York or Toronto by a day or by a week because I had to be somewhere else and there were no excuses to miss out on those personal things going on. I was devastated! So for days and nights, I would prepare what I’d say to Justin when I meet him, what pose I’d have in the photo, and what I’d be wearing. Ridiculous, I know, but I cant help it! ANYWAYS, it was the beginning of April 2012 when it was announced that Justin would be attending the film festival on April 27 th and I was going to be done with exams on the 23 rd . I booked a flight for the 26 th purposely so that I could go and see him , but I didn’t tell anyone about this trip just in case I wasn’t going to really see him because I was still unsure as to whether he would go to NYC. April 26 th at night, he tweets that he’s in NYC. After seeing my friends that night, I went to sleep at 4 AM and woke up at 8 AM to go and see Justin at NYU. Grabbed a Starbucks coffee, took a taxi there, and when I reached, there were only 5 other fans there. We stood outside waiting for Justin to come and the crowd got bigger but not as big as I expected. We were hardly 50 fans! Suddenly, Justin’s car drives from the front and goes around the building so he can enter from the back. All the fans ran to go and see him, but us, being the first ones there and first by the rail, decided to stay and wait until he leaves. We were determined. However, the security at the place told us that he wouldn’t be seeing us and that there was no hope. There was a young girl with us who cried loads for not seeing him and we tried to console her, but they kept on saying that it wasn’t sure anyways that we were going to see them . Our answer to that was why would he and Scooter tweet this exact address! It was heartbreaking but I will thank her EVERYDAY! Her crying made them feel bad and they suddenly took us 10 fans to the back on top of the stairs where Justin would first leave. I quickly got my spot and took out my camera. It was about 1 PM now. We were waiting and waiting and I was getting more and more nervous. I was focused on taking that picture with him! First, Kenny came out and I screamed his name. Then came Alfredo and I did the same, but they just walked past and into the car. We kept on waiting and waiting for Justin and random people would open the door and leave, which made it more and more frustrating! And suddenly at around 2, JUSTIN SHOWS UP! OMG, I DIED!!! I screamed so loud and kept on repeating “JUSTIN I LOVE YOU”! I didn’t know what else to do other than attract his attention to take that photo! He walked right up to the guy next to me and then I told him, “Justin, PLEASE A PHOTO!! PLEASE!!” So he comes up, grabs my camera, and takes the photo. Just as I was about to take the camera from him, he’s like “Hold on, let me check if the photo turned out alright”. DAMN THIS KID IS NICE!!! I was blown away at how kind he was.. I mean, I already knew but WOW, who does that?!?! Then he walked away and came back to the people next to me to sign autographs and I screamed to him, “Justin I came all the way from Canada” and he was like, “Canada? Really?! Wow”. And he walked away to take pictures with other fans! IT WAS AMAZING!! I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT HAPPENED!! Justin is the nicest person I have ever met in my life and also very generous. The same day he tweeted he was going to Fuerza Bruta for Usher and I went to look for him, but then decided to go back home to spend time with my friends and give Justin his space. My name is Linda and I’m 20. This is my Bieber Experience. May 2 & May 3, 2012: I won the Vevo Justin Bieber Biggest Fan Contest. I went to LA May 2 and I did this amazing video shoot with other great lucky winners. (It will be on YouTube in little over a month) While there, the lady running the shoot told me that they needed Beliebers over 18 to do this thing for Justin on MTV. Since myself and this other girl Cindy both being over 18, we went. It was great to be there. We had to wait a while. I brought two friends with me. As we waited for Justin to come, we got to chill and talk. They told us what to do when he arrives and all that. Once he showed up it was amazing to be right up front. After the live taping on MTV, we got to take pictures with Justin. I waited in line respectfully. Soon it was my turn to hug Justin, I walked up and he said hi. I said hi back and then we took a picture. I turned to him and asked, “Can you follow me on Twitter for my birthday”. Then the security guard told me to move on. Justin looked at me and said, “Sure what is you twitter?” I told him, he stood there for a second and tried to remember it. Then I said thank you and walked away. *Short story, click to watch full story in this video ! Susanna and I had heard that there was going to be a Boyfriend Music Video Shoot in Los Angeles on April 21, 2012 from 6:00am-11:00pm. We immediately planned to go. When we got there, we accidentally walked onto set and no one was telling us anything! After walking around and snooping for a little, we decided to try and get on the top of the parking structure that JUSTIN BIEBER was on. When we almost got to the top of the stairs the security guard didn’t let us through. We stayed on the floor right below Justin’s shoot and eventually got yelled at by more security! We went downstairs to these open gates to see if we can see anyone we would know. Thats when we met Jade and Asia, two other beliebers! We stuck together for the rest of the day as well. There were two parking structures right next to each other. One full of the paps and a couple fans, and the other with the crew and music video stuff. You could see EVERYTHING from the parking structure we were on! Long story short, Justin didn’t want to film or get out of his car because of the paps, so Scooter was yelling over to us that if Justin gave them a couple shots for a picture that we would all have to leave. They agreed and Justin came out and started posing. This is when Selena had just gotten to the shoot as well and they were so cute being a couple and all. This SUPER nice lady, Patsy, who was part of Justin’s crew or the filming crew was so nice to us, she kept letting us back on the roof, and ONLY us! Justin even saw us a couple times! We watched him sing and dance and record the video for a long time and got some good pictures! Me, Sue, Jade and Asia were getting kinda tired and was just talking to each other when we look down on the 4 floor of Justin’s structure and notice that JUSTIN WAS TRYING TO TALK TO US BUT WE WERE TOO TIRED TO EVEN NOTICE! Before he got in the elevator we yelled “WE LOVE YOU JUSTIN!” and he smiled at us. So we ran downstairs as fast as we could to go and see him. When he was walking back from his trailer to quickly go back on set to record, only 5-6 fans were outside and he was walking and saying, “I promise I’ll come back and take pictures and meet you guys! I have to finish this shoot, just give me a couple minutes, I promise!” OMB. I died. We waited for about 2-3 hours, and more and more people started showing up. There was about 30 people now. After a little while I heard, “THATS A WRAP!” and bunch of yelling and excitement! All the extras and cast started coming down, and then we saw the Range Rover. Justin jumped right out and started signing and was being TRAMPLED by these crazy people. We stayed back to give him some space but was eventually pulled into the crowd. Susanna gave Justin her phone and he took a picture with her and then looked at me, came over to me, I held his jacket (people were shoving me) and smiled , he was kinda rushing so he didn’t know where to put the phone, so I grabbed his hand and I took it from him. He legit looked me in the eyes 4-5 times and SMILED AT ME. MY HEART, AH! I told him, “Justin, you are so sweet!” and he said, “Aw thank you!” He had jumped right back into his car with Selena, but the car wasn’t moving. My friend Asia was crying because she didn’t get to meet him. Me, Susanna, and Jade ran over to Scooter and was like, “Scooter, shes been here since 9am! Police close their investigation into the singer’s death after concluding it was accidental. By Gil Kaufman Whitney Houston Photo: 20th Century Fox/Getty Images Police investigators have concluded their probe into the death of Whitney Houston and concluded that she died of accidental drowning. According to CNN , the probe by the Beverly Hills Police Department was officially closed after investigator found “no evidence of foul play.” In a statement from the department, police said, “Based on the findings of our investigation and our review of the coroner’s report, we have determined that this is not a criminal matter.” The Los Angeles County coroner released its autopsy report last week in which it determined that Houston’s February 11 death was an accidental drowning with the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use” as contributing factors. The conclusion of the police investigation was followed by the release of the 911 emergency call about the incident, in which a hotel security officer told the 911 operator that the woman who called for help from Houston’s room was “irate and pretty much out of it.” The security officer did not identify Houston as in the call. “I need paramedics, apparently I’ve got a 46-year-old female, found in the bathroom,” he told the 911 operator. “That’s all I’ve got right now, but they’re requesting paramedics.” The autopsy report said that Houston’s assistant found the singer, who is actually 48 years old, face down in a bathtub of “extremely hot water.” “I’m not sure if she fell, or if she was in the bathroom with the water,” the security officer said in the call, adding, “apparently she wasn’t breathing.” When asked if the guard could get the 911 operator into the room to give CPR instructions, the security officer said “no, because she [the woman who called from Houston’s room] kept hanging up on us.” The coroner’s report did not detail exactly what happened to cause Houston’s death, but addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky told CNN he had a theory. Pinsky examined the autopsy report and suggested that Houston might have suffered a seizure brought on by the use of cocaine, possibly combined with a withdrawal from alcohol and a prescription sedative.
