Not long after Caroline Wozniacki’s Serena Williams impression drew charges of racism, Rob Parker of ESPN has called out Robert Griffin III. The newspaper columnist, who is African-American, appeared on First Take this morning and said of the Redskins star rookie quarterback: “Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother? He’s not real. Okay, he’s black, he kind of does the thing, but he’s not really down with the cause.” “He’s not one of us. He’s kind of black, but he’s not really, like, the guy you want to hang out with because he’s off to something else.” Parker continued: “We all know he has a white fiancee. There was all this talk about how he’s a Republican … Tiger Woods was like, ‘I’ve got black skin but don’t call me black.'” ESPN didn’t waste any time in punishing Parker for his view, with spokesman Mike Soltys telling FoxNews.com that his network has suspended the journalist and is “conducting a full review.” Former Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy has made his opinion well-known on Twitter, writing: “Rob Parker may have had worst commentary I have ever heard concerning Robert Griffin III.” Do you agree? Courtney Stodden has booked her very first singing gig. Consider yourselves warned, patrons of the Abbey in West Hollywood. Described on posters as a “Pop Culture Icon,” Stodden will perform the single “Reality” (below) at that club on November 21, telling E! News of the gig: “I’m super excited, it’s going to be such a fun night! Courtney Stodden – “Reality” Stodden, appearing these days on Couples Therapy , was recently shot down by Playboy . But she says that publication is ready by the wrong demographic anyway. “Oh, my goodness, the Abbey is the biggest gay nightclub in the world! I love, adore and respect the gay community so much and can’t wait to meet everyone. I can’t think of anywhere else to spend Thanksgiving!”

Korean rapper Psy, also known as Park Jae-Sang, is being honored at the annual event as 2012’s new media honoree for his massive cyber success. He will also perform live at the event. He will receive a trophy for international smash hit single, which is now the second most-viewed YouTube video of all time after Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” The 40th annual American Music Awards airs Sunday at 8 p.m.

This is Serena’s third time winning the championship. Ending the year on a good note, Serena is bringing in yet another win after she kicked Maria Sharapova’s azz (again). According to ESPN : “Now that I can be honest, I really wanted to win,” Williams said. “I wanted it so bad but I didn’t want to say it … It was really important for me to end the year with this title in particular.” Williams ended the season with a 58-4 record. Since her first-round loss at the French Open, the American is 31-1, winning Wimbledon, the Olympic gold medal and the U.S. Open. But because she did not play as well at the start of the year following injuries and illness, Williams will have to settle for the No. 3 ranking despite dominating the tour in the past few months. She finishes behind No. 2 Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka, who ends the year as the top-ranked player in the world despite losing to Sharapova in the semifinals. “I had such a good year, it was important to end on a good note. It was good for my sanity to win,” Williams said. “I really wanted it although I didn’t need it.” “Today she had another great serving day against me,” said Sharapova, who never had a break point. “If I’m playing well and doing everything right, It’s pretty difficult to beat me, without trying to sound too full of myself,” Williams said. “And I hate to lose.” Williams also became the oldest player, at age 31, to win the year-end championships and has seven titles this year.
