Brody Jenner is not only retracting his allegation that Joe Francis beat up Jayde Nicole (Brody’s then-girlfriend), he’s apologizing to his former enemy. He’s obligated to, of course, as part of the settlement to their legal war over an incident that took place between the three of them in August 2009. Jayde Nicole said Francis pulled her hair and punched her in the face in a wild nightclub melee that ended with a chivalrous Jenner getting tasered. Bromance means being able to own up to it when you’re wrong. Their stories varied, but Joe was too close to his ex (and Jayde’s BFF) Abbey Wilson for the couple’s liking. Jayde sued the Girls Gone Wild founder. That’s all water under the bridge now. Brody and Jayde split last December, and after settling with Francis, he writes as part of this public apology: “I would like to acknowledge for the record that media reports that you beat up Jayde Nicole that night … were completely inaccurate.” Now with Avril Lavigne, Brody adds: “I have always known you to be a gentleman and I’m very sorry that you were wrongly accused that night.” And the always-polite Brody Jenner even ends by writing, “Please accept my congratulations and best wishes on your recent marriage.” Joe married Christina McLarty last month. We’re guessing Brody wasn’t invited to the wedding, but at least they’ve buried the hatchet.

Michael Jackson fans are not pleased with the idea of the late King of Pop’s autopsy being reenacted on TV, calling the concept an “affront to human dignity.” No arguments from THG there. The Discovery Channel is planning on broadcasting a gruesome reenactment of MJ’s autopsy in the UK next month, sending many Jackson fans into a tizzy. Fans have already gotten nearly 1,500 signatures demanding that the network nix the special , entitled simply and gruesomely Michael Jackson’s Autopsy . The fans behind the petition call the documentary offensive and add that “This type of sensational and unscrupulous reporting can only cause harm.” They conclude: “We ask the directors of the Discovery Channel programming to proceed with the outright cancellation of this indecent documentary.” Hopefully they succeed. Camille Grammer says she feels ” completely abandoned ” by ex-husband Kelsey Grammer. But that wasn’t always the case. A source says this Real Housewife of Beverly Hills once felt completely videotaped by the sitcom star. Yes, Star Magazine reports there are “wild sex tapes” of these two in Camille’s possession and she’s threatening to release them. “Camille fully intends on staying a very rich woman,” an imaginary insider tells the publication. “She wants a ton of money in the settlement.” But wouldn’t these tapes also expose and embarrass Camille? Not exactly. She is a former Playboy centerfold, after all, and she’s also appeared in a pair of erotic films, such as the moderate 1996 hit The Naked Detective . With this pair’s divorce settlement still being negotiated, Kelsey announced his engagement to Kayte Walsh last week. “Camille likes to remind Kelsey all the time that she has dirt on him. And she’s so upset over him dumping her for [a] young flight attendant last summer – plus the fact that they’ve already gotten engaged – that she’s been dropping plenty of hints she’s ready and willing to embarrass him if he doesn’t give her a huge alimony payment,” this source added.

The recession is hitting everyone hard. Even Jon Gosselin. The former reality star and d-list celebrity is looking for a new way to bring home the bacon. Limited in terms of options thanks to a settlement with TLC that effectively forced him to STFU legally, is currently on the hunt for career opportunities. Anyone in the market for an overweight, unemployed father of eight with massive child support and a harem of mediocre girls at his disposal? Anyone? “He knows he can’t do any other TV shows [because of the settlement] but would like to get out there and work to provide for his family,” a source said . Jon still pays ex-wife Kate Gosselin child support for their kids. While he has been approached to do several projects like invest in new companies or be the face of a product, Jon wants something more substantial. Even if that means working … wait for it … a 9-to-5 job again! Hey, it’s probably a better move in the event of a cash woes than stalking rich cougars . “Absolutely, 100 percent,” a source responded when asked if Jon would consider going back to a “normal” day job. “He’s considering different options.” “He’s not looking for something short term.” Jon, who used to work in the IT field before he hit reality TV fame, is simply looking for “something he can do well.” That alone may limit his choices. “He’s getting his life back together a little bit at a time. Radio magnate Howard Stern held his long-awaited beauty pageant for Tiger Woods’ mistresses Wednesday, with Jaime Jungers taking home the dubious honors. To the victor goes a $75,000 cash prize. And that to the hush money he likely paid to keep her from blabbing to the press or Elin Woods, and she did pretty well! Jamie Jungers ‘ win came after she answered most of the leering questions the radio legend threw her way, including those about Woods’ anatomical endowments. She’s a classy chick, no doubt. Also competing in the contest, which is simultaneously sad, absurd and hilarious, were Loredana Jolie and Jaimee Grubbs, who pocketed $15,000 as runners-up. Jamie Jungers takes home the prestigious honor. It was no surprise to see Grubbs taking part in the pageant , given that she shamelessly sold Tiger Woods’ voicemail and has given umpteen interviews about him. Loredana Jolie? No surprise there either. We would have loved to see a higher turnout, though. What else do you have going on, Cori Rist? Or you, Theresa Rogers? Jon Gosselin may be jobless, generally lame and stuck with a stubby package , but at least one burden is off his back. His legal dispute with TLC has been settled. “TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation,” the network said in a statement Wednesday. All terms of the settlement are confidential. “The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC,” the network said. Hmm. Wonder if Jon played his last available chip and agreed to pimp out his kids . While Jon & Kate Plus 8 remains dead, a source close to the situation says that the network “hopes they will soon be able to film the family again” in some form. FREE OF TLC : Jon Gosselin finally got TLC out of his hair. No worries, though – the plugs and copious amounts of gel are still firmly in place up atop that dome. The ugly legal battle started with TLC trying to phase him out of the show, which sparked his pulling the plug on the hit show citing an exploitation of his kids. That prompted a lawsuit filed by TLC against Gosselin for alleged breach of contract, claiming that he was making paid TV appearances without their consent. Which was pretty obvious. TLC sought and won an injunction effectively making Jon STFU. Later, Gosselin filed a $5-million counterclaim, saying that the network damaged his career. All water under the bridge now, though. Jon is free to go back to … whatever it is he’s doing. What’s the word for it … hmm … oh yeah, Morgan Christie .
