An attorney involved in the sexual misconduct lawsuits against New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor Bishop Eddie Long told the AJC.com that the parties involved have settled the matter. Barbara Marschalk, who represents New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and LongFellows Youth Academy, told the AJC that she expects the lawsuits to be dismissed by close of business tomorrow (May 27). B.J. Bernstein — the attorney representing the four men who sued Long, New Birth and LongFellows — also confirmed to the AJC that the lawsuits had been settled. Brooke Mueller Will NOT Take a Drug Test!

The troubled Brooke Mueller just refused to submit to a court-ordered drug test. Anytime “refused” and “court-ordered” are in the same sentence? Not good. Sources say Brooke has fallen off the wagon lately, culminating when she was spotted at a pawn shop Friday trying to hawk a watch and a stereo. That would be sad enough, but under her custody settlement agreement with Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller is required to submit to drug testing. Brooke in more sober times. Well, presumably . A test was scheduled for 6 p.m. yesterday. The people came to her home with the test, but her lawyer, Ron Rale, told them she wasn’t taking it. It’s unclear if Brooke was present at the time, or if she is still MIA. But either way, under the settlement, a refusal is considered a dirty test. It’s also unclear what Charlie and his lawyer will do now. But he’s already warned her that you don’t mess with a Warlock and expect to win. The plan for Charlie, according to sources close to the situation, is to ask the court for the temporary custody of the boys if Mueller goes to rehab. He’s concerned for Brooke, but his first priority is the boys’ safety. Can you imagine Charlie Sheen as the SAFER of two options? Actually possible! Winklevoss Twins Lose Appeal of Facebook Settlement

Despite their claims that Facebook did not provide an accurate valuation, a judge ruled that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss must accept their $65 million settlement from the social networking behemoth and move on. SUCKS for them. A U.S. appeals court ruled that the settlement (depicted in The Social Network ) stands. The Winklevoss twins (seen here with the actor who portrayed them, Armie Hammer) claim Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea for the site. Zuckerberg and Facebook denied this, but settled 2008. The Winklevii have since tried to secure more $$ by claiming that

Whitney Houston reportedly wants to send her daughter Bobbi Kristina to rehab, according to Perez Hilton who quoted the National Enquirer. The decision came, of course, after alleged pictures of Bobbi Kristina snorting cocaine surfaced. Former Death Row Records head Suge Knight was in a huge fight at Las Vegas’ Aria Hotel & Casino over the weekend. The brawl was caught on video camera. If you remember Suge and Tupac were involved in a fight at the MGM Grand in Vegas the night ‘Pac was gunned down. The fight led to Suge Knight being incarcerated. From TMZ : It all went down on the casino floor at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas early Saturday morning. Suge can be seen throwing haymaker after haymaker … but it doesn’t look like he landed a single punch. According to an eyewitness … Suge flew off the handle when the little man approached him with a challenge … saying, “I can take you.” Eventually, the whole thing was broken up — and cops were spotted at the hotel soon after. Suge Knight and Kanye West have finally reached a settlement in an ongoing lawsuit filed by the Death Row head. As previously reported, Knight filed a $1 million lawsuit against West after he was shot in the femur during a 2005 VMA Awards after party where Ye was hosting. Clearly Nas’s accountants are about as bad as the divorce attorney who worked out his settlement with greedy a** Kelis. Rapper Nas, who has a home in the Eagle’s Landing subdivision south of Atlanta, owes more than $6 million in back taxes, according to the Detroit News’ Tax Watchdog blog, where metro reporter Robert Snell scours public records and reports details on famous people with big tax bills. Nas has had tax troubles for some time, with the IRS filing liens in 2009, 2010 and most recently, on Jan. 10. The address on the oldest lien was the property in Eagle’s Landing. Nas also owns property in New York. The managers of his Queens condo building filed a lien last fall and said he had not paid the $420 monthly assessment since January 2010, according to Tax Watchdog. Smarten up, Nas. Source
