Here are 5 new Georgia laws you might not have heard of. 1. HB 657 – Firearms; providing to person on probation as a felony first offender; make unlawful This amendment makes it illegal to provide firearms to anyone who is known to be on probation as a felony first time offender. 2. SR 685 – Georgia Coast; bed of tidewater known as “Runaway Negro Creek”; rename to “Freedom Creek” This law renames the tidewater bed on the Georgia coast, known as “Runaway Negro Creek,” to “Freedom Creek. 3 . HR 279 – Single Parent Day; March 21; designate each year This law designates each March 21st as Single Parents Day . 4. HB 732 – Crimes and offenses; trafficking an individual for sexual servitude; provisions This law gives harsher and stricter punishment for anyone caught trafficking an individual for sexual servitude. 5. Source: Earl Gibson III / Getty Producer Detail Is Being Sued By A Sexual Assault Accusers One of the aspiring singers who is accusing music producer Detail of sexual assault has taken the next step with her claims and is now suing him. On December 27, Kristina Buch filed a lawsuit against Detail (born Noel Fisher) in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the documents–which were obtained by Billboard — Buch accuses Detail of sexually and mentally abusing her over a two-year period, also claiming the beat maker used his influence to keep her in line throughout their professional relationship. According to the lawsuit, after meeting, Detail impressed Buch with “promises of a music career, showering her with compliments and telling her she was going to be a star.” Their working relationship took a very dark turn, though, claims the aspiring singer. “This complaint, unfortunately, tells the tale of an aspiring musician who was manipulated, abused, and ferociously and repeatedly raped at the hands of a person she trusted, her supposed mentor, a critically acclaimed music producer,” the lawsuit reads. It goes on to claim that Detail, “viciously and violently raped Buch on seven different occasions,” and was “controlling and verbally abusive toward Buch, telling her that she needed to have sex with him and others to get ahead in the music industry. Fisher also consistently attacked Buch’s self-worth, breaking her down emotionally and maker her subservient to him.” These same claims were initially made back in May when Buch and another woman, Peyton Ackley, both claimed to have suffered abuse at the hands of the producer. At the time, both women were granted restraining orders by a judge. Detail has worked with the likes of Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Future, Rihanna, and more, producing huge hits including “We Dem Boyz,” “Sexy Can I,” and “How To Love.

Source: Steve Granitz / Getty Ariana Grande Pulls Out Of Her New Years Eve Performance Ariana Grande has officially canceled her Las Vegas performance just days before New Year’s Eve “due to unforeseeable health reasons.” Grande was originally scheduled to perform at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday. The hotel announced in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday that the she will not be performing after all. The hotel also said guests can receive refunds at their point of purchase. Ariana also posted her own message to her Instagram story on December 28, a few days before the scheduled performance, to briefly explain to fans why she won’t be making it to Las Vegas. The singer wrote, “vegas, I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry i won’t be able to see u this weekend. i love u and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to u next year.” Even though she won’t be performing on New Years, 2018 is probably a year that Ms. Grande is more than happy to put behind her. Although she’s had arguably the best year of her career, the singer’s personal woes have been just as public as her musical achievements. Her song “Thank U, Next” is spending its sixth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, she recently earned two Grammy nominations, and was also named woman of the year by Billboard. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Ariana’s year also included the end of her relationship with comedian-actor Pete Davidson and the death of her former boyfriend, the rapper Mac Miller. The pastor is telling his followers that K. Michelle is wrong after she “viciously attacked” a Memphis judge on her Instagram page. K actually blasted the judge for sexual assault accusations. She wrote, “Memphians, next year I will be standing fighting for the two women that this judge has beat, locked in the closet, and slipped something in her drink.” Kimberly told fans that the judge was unfair against Black women and need to be put in jail. But, the cussing pastor jumped to the judges defense. K.Michelle went on social media and viciously attacked a Memphis Judge with allegations that long been proven as lies.
