“I [Slept] All The Time Because It’s The Closest Thing To Death:” Simone Biles Explains How She Coped With Sexual Abuse

Source: Eugene Powers/WENN.com / WENN Via Madamenoire : Olympic gold-winning gymnast Simone Biles has been open and forthcoming about the sexual abuse she experienced at the hands of former athletic doctor Larry Nassar. Biles sat down with Pryanka Chopra to speak about a variety of things, including striving for perfection, dealing with immense, internal and external pressure and how she began healing from the sexual abuse. The expectation of being perfect I feel like that’s the hardest part of my career. I don’t want to say job because I chose to do it. But I feel like, always meeting people’s needs, every single day, all the time is the hardest thing that I go through. I feel like if I don’t meet their needs then I failed, even at the Olympics, Everybody wanted me to win six golds or this or that and I didn’t meet those needs and I was really down on myself, especially after the beam even thought I still medaled. And everybody was like, ‘What the heck is a bronze?’ The best way of dealing with pressure Therapy. Therapy is everything. I feel like nowadays, if you say you’re going to therapy, nobody questions it anymore. But before if I said I’m going to therapy, they’re like ‘Oh you’re going to a cuckoo doctor. That’s why therapy today is so important and it needs to be more normalized. I’m still going through things in everyday life that I still have to go to therapy for. It all comes back to my childhood and everything that’s happened to me, being sexually abused and all that stuff. Sign Up For Our Newsletter! Close Thank you for subscribing! Email Submit When she realized she was being abused There was a time I asked my friend and I called her, and I asked her the definition of sexually abused because some of my other friends they had had worse than me. And they’re like, ‘No, if he did that and that then you’ve been sexually abused.’ I kind of brushed it off. I’m not willing to put that out there for the world to see. They’re not going to see me as Simone the gymnast. They’re going to see me as Simone as the sexual abuse survivor. So I denied it and I buried it. And I was very depressed. I never left my room. I was sleeping all the time. And I told one of my lawyers, ‘I sleep all the time because it’s the closest thing to death.’ I told my mom first. I had just read the story about my friend coming out and I was bawling and I called my mom and then I told her. Then we had detectives come and stuff like that and that was the moment I realized. It’s a lot better now. It wasn’t easy but I feel like I’m a stronger woman today and I feel like telling my story has helped younger girls. Cardi B Naked of the Day

https://drunkenstepfather.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Cardi-B-Naked-.mp4 Cardi B the rapper who drugs and rapes men…. My opinion doesn’t matter, but Cardi B, who I guess is positioned as a sex positive ex stripper who fucked her way onto TV, and from there made a rap career as some trashy novelty act that our kids should not be allowed to listen to, cuz they reduce our society to being even dumber than they are, without injecting or exposing them to culture or class or thought provoking ideas…you’re just breeding a bunch of trash raised by a fucking stripper.. Well in her feminist, sex worker, glory…she used to seduce dudes from the strip club back to hotel rooms where she’d drug and rape them like she was bill Cosby, only her rape was far worse than sticking dicks in them until they orgasmed…it was ROBBING THEM… So for Bill Cosby, he’s a predator…but for Cardi B…she’s a hero….when both are equally evil things to do…so Cardi B continues to exist, isn’t canceled, still gets brand deals and makes stupid money….she is even celebrated and inspiring, giving girls ideas of how to treat men, by drugging and robbing them, because the population is retarded and will follow her lead… Fucked up times. Selena Gomez: Can Justin Bieber STOP Talking About Me Already?!?

With barely any provocation this week,  Justin Bieber declared to the world that he’ll always love Selena Gomez . He said that. The dude is married. He also said that he loves his wife, but that has to rub Hailey the wrong way, right? According to a new report, Hailey’s not the only one annoyed. Selena’s pretty pissed, too. RadarOnline   reports that, according to an unnamed friend of Selena Gomez, she doesn’t get why he’s bringing her up at all. “Selena shut that door,” the insider characterizes. In other words, she cut the Biebs out of her life for the last time a year ago and she hasn’t looked back. “And,” the source continues. “She is in a good place.” The insider explains that Selena is only doing so well “because he is not a part of her life anymore.” “She wants nothing to do with either of them,” the source says. It’s not a petty thing. It’s not a mean thing. Selena is practicing self-care. “And,” the insider notes, Selena “doesn’t understand why he needed to bring her up.” But it doesn’t sound like Selena intends to reach out and tell Justin off. And we shouldn’t expect her to contact him indirectly through his wife, either. “She is avoiding him and Hailey at all costs,” the source reveals. Like anyone hoping to kick a bad habit and avoid a relapse, she has an entire support network keeping her on the straight and narrow. “And,” the insider adds. “Her family and friends are making sure of this.” Selena doesn’t need to get bogged down in Justin’s drama. “Selena has her own life to worry about,” the source reminds the world. She’s a talented actress and one of the most brilliant singers on the planet. She’s also in a fight for her life against the ravages of lupus. “And,” the insider says of Justin. “He is not her concern.”  Whatever impulses Selena may have once had to rush to Justin’s side because he’s clearly in distress are gone for one simple reason: That’s not her job anymore. “That is all on his wife Hailey now,” the source points out. “She took that oath,” the insider explains. “When she vowed to be there for him in sickness and in health.” That’s a great point. All of this hubbub got started when Justin responded to a fan’s accusation that he only married Hailey to get revenge on Selena. “I absolutely loved and love Selena she will always hold a place in my heart,” Justin wrote. That’s past and present tense. “But I am head over heels in love with my wife,” he affirmed. “And she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me,” Justin concluded. “Period.” Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber’s marriage got off to an awkward or even rocky start. From the rushed proposal, just weeks after they were dating again, to getting married out of impatience before a real wedding, it’s a little messy. Justin has also opened up about his struggles and asked his fans to pray for him . But that doesn’t mean that he and Hailey aren’t happy with each other or in love. Meanwhile, Selena can put that unfortunate chapter of her life behind her and move forward. View Slideshow: Justin Bieber Spills on Sex with Hailey Baldwin: It’s a Blessing from God!

Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club Season Finale Recap: It’s Finally Over!

Well, folks, whether it’s Mueller, or Jussie, or the fact that soon we’re all gonna be strangled to a slow death by our own noxious atmosphere, there’s a lot that might be bumming you out this week … and it’s only Tuesday. But fear not, dear reader, for we bring you tidings of great joy and reason to be hopeful about the future. The long national nightmare known as Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club has finally come to an end. Better yet, because the show’s ratings steadily declined throughout the season, and a lot of people were grossed out by the fact that it was basically a documentary set at a skeezy Mediterranean brothel, there’s reason to believe it’ll never be back. Obviously, this is fantastic news for defenders not only of common decency but of quality television. You see, the problem with LLBC is that it was bad, but not in a fun guilty pleasure way. As we noted in our recap of the pilot episode the show is (was?) the sort of trainwreck that it’s easy to look away from . From the start, the show failed to deliver what it promised — Lindsay in all her hot mess glory. Don’t get us wrong, Lindsay seems to be doing much better these days, but no one wanted or needed a 10-hour infomercial about how she’s reinvented herself as Lisa Vanderpump. (It’s an especially weird act considering that Lindsay is younger than most of Lisa’s employees on Vanderpump Rules, which just contributes to the feeling that LiLo’s attempting an unsuccessful Vincent Adultman.) Anyway, it wasn’t just the fact that Lindsay was obviously cosplaying from the start, or even the fact that her business partner Panos basically admitted that the staff is there to perform sexual favors for guests. No, the most off-putting part of the whole thing was how slapdash and confusing it all was. Was it a competition to see who can go the longest without getting fired or contracting chlamydia?  Or was it more of a “hang-out” reality show where the cast bonds over their shared experiences and struggles with chlamydia? We’re not really sure — and in the season freakin’ finale, it seems that the cast wasn’t really sure, either. All season, Lindsay and Panos have been threatening to fire people, and it often seemed that that was the point of the series — that Lohan would winnow down her staff to a few who would remain on with her full-time. But despite all the threats, very few “ambassadors” got fired — until last night, when two were let go on their last day in Greece. Hilariously, one cast member was canned for behaving inappropriately with guests, despite the fact that the entire cast was encouraged to bone for money all season. Another was let go for striking a co-worker, which would be a good reason — were it not for the fact that Jonitta hit Gabi earlier this season and was not fired for it. “At the end of the day, no matter what you guys do here, it’s my name,” Lindsay said, repeating her mantra about the importance of her brand for then billionth time this season. In the end, Lindsay invited 5 staff members to stay on with her, which might have meant something if the show had established what’s at stake from the beginning. In the end, we were just left with something that started out with promise but ended in confusing disappointment. Not unlike Lindsay’s acting career. Kris Humphries Swears His Marriage to Kim Kardashian Was Real

Kris Humphries would like you to know two important things about him: 1. He’s still alive. 2. He was totally and completely in love with Kim Kardashian. So the former power forward stated for The Players Tribune record in a surprising essay he penned this week. In a lengthy piece titled “I Never Wanted to Be That Guy,” Humphries opens up about his athletic past, his basketball career, his poor attitude over the years — and, yes, of course, his very brief marriage to Ray J’s former sex tape partner. (For those somehow unaware, Humphries and Kardashian were married for 72 days  back in 2011. Yes, 72 days. Due to the hilariously short length of this union, most observers have assumed that the relationship was a complete farce. They’ve assumed it was a mere PR stunt meant to bring the couple attention and money before they went their separate ways. But Humphries insists, all this time later, that there was nothing phony about the romance at all. “I met a girl who happened to be really famous, and I got married, and.…. Damn,” writes Kris in this article, adding that he “should have known what I was getting into” with Kardashian, and yet: “I was definitely naive about how much my life was going to change. But the one thing that really bothers me is whenever people say that my marriage was fake.” There’s plenty about the Kardashian universe that is not “entirely real,” explains Humphries, who should know because he appeared on plenty of Keeping Up with the Kardashians episodes. But his feelings for Kim? The vows they exchanged? His hopes and dreams for their future? “Our actual relationship was 100% real,” he emphasizes here, expounding as follows: “When it was clear that it wasn’t working … what can I say? It sucked. “It’s never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that — with your friends, with your family…. But when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world, it’s a whole other level. It was brutal.” Kris and Kim were all over the tabloids back then, with accusations of infidelity leveled against both parties and ugly rumors spreading about the relationship across the Internet. Continues Humphries: “I didn’t know how to handle it, because I never thought I was going to be famous in that way. “I remember having this moment when I was getting booed so hard in Philly, and I thought to myself, “Why exactly are they booing me, though? Is it just because I’m That Guy from TV? “Do they think I was trying to be famous? Is it because they think I disrespected the game of basketball?” Humphries played in 800 career games and averaged 6.7 points and 5.4 rebounds. He was a perfectly solid rotation player who played for eight teams. The Minnesota native exceled in college and only ever wanted “to be known for basketball,” he writes in this piece. But that hasn’t been the case for almost a decade now. “There was about a year where I was in a dark place,” he says of the divorce proceedings. “I didn’t want to leave my home. You feel like … I don’t know … the whole world hates you, but they don’t even know why. They don’t even know you at all. They just recognize your face, and they’re on you.” Humphries would even lie and tell strangers on the street that he was someone else when they approached him. It was really tough for awhile. “I didn’t want to be Kris Humphries,” he says, adding: “It’s the craziest feeling in the world, not wanting to be yourself. And I didn’t even want to say anything to defend myself, because it felt like I couldn’t win. You can’t go up against the tabloids. You can’t go up against that machine. There’s no point. “And even if I played that game, I felt like it would be disrespecting the game of basketball.” As for whether he’d ever get back together with Kim, who is married to Kanye West and who has three children? Humphries has already answered that question. And we’re sorry to break it to you, Kim .

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: I Prayed When I Learned Rosie O’Donnell Had a Crush on Me

Recently, Rosie O'Donnell confessed that she had a crush on Elisabeth Hasselbeck during their cohosting days on The View . Hasselbeck went on Fox & Friends and responded: “I read it and I immediately started praying.” She said similar things in an appearance on The View , and is getting dragged for coming across as downright homophobic. First, here were Rosie O'Donnell's exact words in her book,  Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of the View . Reportedly, in order to quash rumors that she and Hasselbeck were enemies back in the day, Rosie … overcorrected. She says that she “loved” her conservative cohost and admitted that she had “a little bit of a crush” on her. Rosie then suggested that there were “underlying lesbian tones on both [of their] parts” while they were on  The View . She then made reference to Hasselbeck's past as a softball player, implying Hasselbeck may not be entirely straight herself. Hasselbeck appeared on both Fox & Friends and The View to respond to Rosie's statements. Sunny Hostin asked Hasselbeck about this as she assumed the role of guest host on  The View . “That's the breath of the Holy Spirit,” Hasselbeck responds. “Like please, Holy Spirit, work through me right now, so I don't answer my own mind.” “This needs to be addressed both truthfully and … maybe where I wouldn't have addressed it with grace some years past,” Hasselbeck admits. When you finish hearing her response, you wonder how much worse it would have been years ago. “One,” Hasselbeck says. “I think what she said was reckless. Untrue.” That sounds fine, until she says: “Not only insulting — disturbing.” Hasselbeck tries to spin it, saying: “When it comes to … how she felt about somebody in the workplace.” “That somebody happened to be me,” she says. “But if you replace what Rosie said, and you take her name out, and you put in … 'Robert.'” “Then we would be in a situation where you would see the objectification of a woman in the workplace,” Hasselbeck claims. “And that's disturbing,” Hasselbeck claims. “Because when we may be really against that from a man to a woman.” “You don't get a pass because you're a lesbian,” she suggests. “The feeling was not mutual,” Hasselbeck insists. “But I did respect her as a cohost.” She adds: “As I think it should happen in all workplaces.” She emphasizes that, in very religious terms, she forgives Rosie for her statements. “Secondly,” Hasselbeck continues. “I think what she says about female athletes …” “If you're an athletic girl,” she says. “And you're competitive and you're gritty …” “It's a lie and it's reckless to attach a sexuality to that,” Hasselbeck asserts. “And I think it's selfish on her part,” she accuses. “And I would say it to my friend.” “Just because you're athletic,” Hasselbeck concludes. “Doesn't have anything to do with your sexual preference.” One, having a crush on a coworker and admitting it many, many years later is not the same thing as objectification. It should not in any way be equated with workplace sexual harassment. If Rosie had made lewd anatomical comments about Hasselbeck, or made it an issue while they were on  The View , that would be different. But as Joy Behar correctly points out, Rosie's comment about having a crush was not lewd or inappropriate. Hasselbeck refers to an alleged reference to Rosie trying to “take her under her wing.” Unless Hasselbeck is accusing Rosie of inappropriate behavior during their time on  The View , then it doesn't sound like anything inappropriate went down. Second of all, Hasselbeck is wrong to equate a crush from a woman to a crush from a man. Many lesbians are inundated with the idea that they are “predatory” by being attracted to women. That is massively unfair. In contrast — and I'm a dude writing this — we all know that, historically, men with crushes are much more likely to make it a problem. Anyway, there are non-homophobic ways of saying that you're straight. It would have been cool if Elisabeth Hasselbeck had found one of those instead of immediately resorting to prayer and stereotypes. However, Hasselbeck is absolutely right about one thing — and we don't say that often. Assuming that a person is gay because of their profession or hobby or degree of athleticism is absolutely wrong. It's misleading and, while not  insulting , certainly unfair. While softball is stereotypically associated with lesbians, stereotypes are inherently demeaning and dehumanizing. Rosie should know better than to perpetuate that kind of talk. Our favorite part of this whole dang interview was Meghan McCain telling Hasselbeck she's “been a fan of you my entire life.” Hasselbeck is only 7 years older than Meghan. If you ever really want to hurt the feelings of someone young enough to be your sibling, tell them that you've been a fan of them “your whole life.” We don't think that Meghan meant any offense by that.
