But a couple high from splashing out $220,000 on a Lamborghini soon came crashing down to earth – when they smashed the supercar into a wall within hours of its purchase. Cops found the car – with huge dents in its front-end and rear driver’s side – abandoned on the side of a road in La Jolla, California, Monday night. Documents inside revealed the 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago had only been bought hours before from a dealership in Newport Beach, Orange County. A man and woman were reportedly seen fleeing the scene, adds LaJollaLight.com. Witnesses said they saw the vehicle speeding on Interstate 5, before it flew off the La Jolla Village Drive exit and crashed into a wall. Police said there was no indication that the car had been stolen, but that they have not yet located its owners, and so it had been impounded. Women Shot By LAPD Only Get Money To Replace Truck VIa CNN reports: The two women shot and wounded by Los Angeles police during the manhunt for renegade ex-officer Christopher Dorner are “not doing well,” their attorney said Thursday at a news conference to announce a resolution to the loss of their bullet-riddled pickup truck. Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, will receive $40,000 to replace the truck, Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich said. Carranza and Hernandez were shot as police searched for Dorner, a former police officer who was wanted for killing several people in early February. The two women were in a truck similar to the one authorities said Dorner was driving. “They’re not doing well,” attorney Glen Jonas said. “Margie is still very emotionally impacted by what happened. Emma is suffering as far as her injuries are concerned.” Hernandez was shot twice in the back, and Carranza suffered injuries from broken glass, CNN affiliate KTLA reported. Trutanich told reporters that now that the issues with the truck are settled, lawyers can turn their attention to the personal injury issues. The lawyers said they had to find a creative solution to get the women a new truck because of tax laws. Essentially the $40,000 is for the value of the truck, Jonas’ fees, compensation for the time the women have gone without a truck and other matters. Jonas waived his fees, which would have amounted to about $25,000, he said. “We wanted to get this issue resolved because it is draining a lot of energy,” Jonas said. Where is the justice???

Despite the above, the company’s decision to pay Chris Brown an alleged whooping $1 million to be part of the official unveiling of the ‘Hope City Project’ which the latter failed to attend and also stage a mega concert in Accra have been enormously criticized. Many of the decision’s critics have over the few weeks leading to yester night’s concert questioned the corresponding benefits rlg as a brand would derive in giving out such a huge money to Chris Brown. We’ve heard the guys from rlg mention that Chris Brown would promote their brand via appearing at the sod cutting ceremony and also staging the concert. $1 million may not be huge to Chris Brown and he would probably use it to dye his hair but to a young Africa company established in a poor third world country which sometimes goes to seek an equivalent amount in foreign aid, it surely matters. Few hours to the Chris Brown concert, he showed up in Ghana with a frown face. The organizers were supposed to be the ones carrying the frown face since he failed to show up for the all important unveiling and sod cutting ceremony which the President of Ghana (John Mahama) even attended. Man Decapitates Woman In A Grocery Store A mentally ill homeless Bulgarian man has been sentenced to time in a psychiatric institution after he was convicted of an unthinkable and horrific crime committed back in 2011. via Huffington Post A man has been convicted of beheading a British woman with a knife inside a supermarket on a Spanish resort island and will be sentenced to spend time in a psychiatric institution. A court in Santa Cruz on the Canary island of Tenerife found that Deyan Valentinov, a 20-year-old homeless Bulgarian man, had committed the act of murder but was not criminally responsible for his actions because he has acute paranoid schizophrenia. Valentinov will later be sentenced at a later date to between 10 and 15 years in a secure psychiatric unit, court spokesman Gonzalo Perez said Friday. Valentinov entered the store in May 2011, grabbed a 9-inch (23-centimeter) ham-slicing knife and repeatedly attacked Jennifer Mills-Westley before running into the street still holding her head. We can’t help but wonder if this man will return and be sentenced to actual prison time in 15 years if he’s somehow “cured” of his mental illness during his time in the psychiatric facility because this was just an unimaginable way for someone to lose their life.
