We loved these two as a couple , but now even more so as a married couple: It’s true! Monica and Shannon quietly tied the knot on November 22nd at their home in Los Angeles and only HipHollywood spoke with the singing superstar to get the details. In an exclusive statement, Monica cleared up all the confusion and admitted that indeed, Shannon is her HUSBAND. “This is a very special time in my life. I am blessed to have married the man that God sent me, he’s loving, compassionate, strong and supportive of my children, family and career. I look forward to our lives together.” News of the couples alleged engagement began to spread in mid-october after Monica tweeted a photo of the massive diamond that Shannon put on her finger. Monica and Shannon originally met on the set of her video “Love All Over Me”, and she talked about her man, when HipHollywood spoke with her at the LA stop of her Passion, Pain and Pleasure tour, late last year. The couple still plans to hold a ceremony this summer, when the world will be able to see them exchange vows. In the meantime, Shannon is working hard on a possible 3peat and running all of his businesses, while Monica is excited about being nominated for 2 grammy awards and finishing her new album “New Life”, that’s due to be released in the summer. Lindsay Lohan cut a deal with the woman accusing her of battery in rehab, according to reports. When it went awry, so did her relations with Dawn Holland. Here’s how it went down. Lohan and Holland plotted to have a celebrity photo agency take pictures of them together, and for Dawn to pocket the cash. Dawn was expected to make upwards of $10,000 from the sale of the pics. This was BEFORE she decided not to pursue criminal charges against Lindsay. The familiar, pained expression worn by Lindsay Lohan . Sources close to the deal say the point was not for Dawn to get money in exchange for dropping her case, but rather for Lindsay to ” help her out .” In any case, it never ended up going down. Sources say the deal fell apart when Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor, put the kibosh on this. Dawn was pissed, felt Lindsay was “disrespecting” her, got a new lawyer and sources say may pursue the battery case against Lohan after all. The D.A. won’t let it go , so despite numerous reports that Lohan was clean and has passed many drug tests since, you never know. Stay tuned …

R&B star Monica and L.A. Lakers guard Shannon Brown are married! The ceremony actually took place quietly November 22 in L.A., with an “official” wedding and reception for friends and family scheduled for … June. Whatever works. Right around the end of the NBA Playoffs, perhaps? A third straight championship trophy would make for a nice centerpiece … The couple confirmed the news this week . “It’s true,” Brown said. “That’s my wife, I’m her husband, you know. We’re going to continue to make positive things happen.” Spoken like a true ball player. Monica, who also Tweets her love for Brown (and showed off a huge diamond ring in October), is mom to two young sons, Rodney III and Romelo Montez. She got engaged to Shannon Brown in October. Lindsay Lohan And E-Trade Settle ‘Milkaholic’ Lawsuit

By James Dinh Lindsay Lohan Photo: Mark Ralston/ Getty Images Lindsay Lohan seems to be having her share of trouble with the law lately, but there’s one battle she has won. According to TMZ , the actress settled a $100 million lawsuit against E-Trade , which ran a Super Bowl TV spot that Lohan felt mocked her tabloid reputation. Lohan’s attorney Stephanie Ovadia revealed that the lawsuit had come to a close in a statement to TMZ: “The case between Lindsay and E-Trade has been settled … there is no further comment.” While no other details regarding the settlement have been revealed, Team Lohan is reportedly pleased with the suit’s outcome, even suggesting that the actress received an undisclosed amount of money from the suit. Dina Lohan shared her two cents on the lawsuit, telling TMZ, “The family is pleased that the case has been settled.” Representatives for E-Trade admitted to TMZ that they were interested in putting the case behind them, saying, “E*TRADE has always maintained that the claims were without merit, which is why we moved to dismiss the case. With the case now withdrawn, we are pleased to have the matter behind us.” Earlier this year, Lohan’s lawyer filed the $100 million suit in New York claiming that the actress’ name was used without her permission in an advertisement. In the spot, a female baby character named Lindsay is deemed a “milkaholic” while in the midst of a baby love triangle. “That milkaholic Lindsay wasn’t over?” the baby girl says, questioning why the baby boy didn’t call her. “Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit,” Ovadia told the New York Post back in March. “They used the name Lindsay. … They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message.
