Suge Knight Taken Out Of Court By Ambulance Poor Suge just keeps collapsing and having medical issues left and right. The former mogul had to be carted away by a medical team from an LA courtroom once again on Thursday for undisclosed ailments. Oddly enough, this court appearance had nothing to do with the hit-and-run death case he’s also facing, bur rather the September incident in which he and Katt Williams were accused of stealing a fan’s phone. Via PageSix : Former rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight was taken from a Los Angeles courthouse for an undisclosed medical issue. Knight was scheduled to appear in court Thursday for arraignment on a criminal threats charge and for a scheduling hearing in a robbery case, but he never appeared in the courtroom. Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman Mary Hearn says Knight was taken away by ambulance but there was no information on why. The Sheriff’s Department did not have any immediate information on Knight’s condition. Knight was charged with robbery after a photographer reported that Knight and comedian Katt Williams stole her camera in September. Knight has pleaded not guilty to robbery and prosecutors recently added a criminal threats charge. Suge Knight Involved In Hit And Run Death Suge Knight just can’t seem to stay out of sticky situations . After a particularly rough 2014 (getting shot, getting sick, getting arrested), he’s starting off the new year with possible murder charges under his belt. Via TMZ : Suge Knight got into a fight on the set of a film project in Compton, ran over a man who later died, and then fled the scene. Multiple witnesses tell us a movie shoot was going down with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre when Suge pulled up in his car. We’re told security told Suge to leave and that’s when trouble began. A fight broke out between Suge and 2 men. Suge got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse … and ran over a man who suffered fatal injuries. It’s unclear at this point if the victim was connected to the film project. Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ … the 2 men who fought Suge were the instigators. Our sources say Suge was scared because he’s in frail health — in addition to being shot 6 times last summer, he recently almost died from a blood clot. The victim is Terry Carter, who we’re told is a friend of Suge’s who arrived with him at the scene. Our sources say Carter was in the process of walking to the passenger door of Suge’s vehicle, but happened to be in the rear when Suge gunned it. Two other men were also hit … including Cle “Bone” Sloane — who’s appeared in “Training Day” and “End of Watch” — and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both men are in the hospital. This could mean some SERIOUSLY bad news for Suge. TMZ reports that Suge’s lawyer is currently arranging for him to turn himself in to the Sheriff’s Dept. At this point, it isn’t clear if he’ll be arrested for hit and run, manslaughter — or if he’ll be free to go because it was all an accident that resulted him running from a legit threat. Once again, Chris Brown finds himself in the middle of a criminal investigation, but this time, the troubled star is the victim for a refreshing change. When Brown was jailed for getting kicked out of rehab back in April, he was taken across the country to Washington D.C. for his assault charge case. He spent the better part of a few months in jail early last year, as you may recall, but this bizarre ID theft allegedly happened when he was in transit. Before officials put Chris Brown on Con Air , one of his first stops was the San Bernardino County (Calif.) Jail, where he stayed for around a day. Even for brief stays, procedure requires a photo ID created for the inmate, and when the R&B singer moved on, that identification was left behind. Eight or nine months went by until this week, when the prison ID showed up online , on sale for $10,000. Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, went ballistic. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dept. launched an investigation, tracing the ID to someone in the area. Police seized it and grilled the suspect. The guy denied stealing it, playing the old “got it from a friend who got it from a friend” card. Police are still unclear how the thing got out of custody. An investigation is ongoing. Ironically, but not shockingly, Chris may have another of these photos taken any day now after his probation was revoked again .
Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke Slams Al Sharpton And “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” Protest Ready. Set. OUTRAGE! Via DailyMail A sheriff appeared on Fox News to blast Reverend Al Sharpton on Thursday night. Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke was interviewed by Steve Doocy on Fox & Friends and said; ‘Al Sharpton ought to go back into the gutter he came from.’ This in response to Sharpton’s support of Michael Brown and the Ferguson protesters. Sheriff Clarke also said that he found it ‘unlikely’ that federal charges would have been brought against Officer Darren Wilson, saying that the ‘hands up’ narrative was contrived. Furthermore, he accused Shaprton of purposely stoking the flames of racial division by claiming that what Officer Wilson did was racially motivated, when it truth ‘facts are facts’ and that Brown was in the wrong. ‘The grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri, got it right,’ adeed Clarke. ‘Officer [Darren] Wilson has been exonerated. Father Throws Daughter Playboy-Themed Bash For 18th Birthday A San Diego dad is behind bars today after throwing a Playboy Mansion-themed bash — complete with drugs, liquor, and lingerie — for his own daughter on her 18th birthday . Apparently he thought it was all approriate since he was there to “chaperone” the debauchery… Via KTLA : A father was facing charges Wednesday in San Diego County after throwing a “Playboy Mansion” themed party for his daughter’s 18th birthday. As many as 200 people attended the party at the home dubbed “Liv’s Playboy Mansion” last Friday night, most of them underage, according to KGTV in San Diego. Pictures posted to social media by some partygoers showed teenagers wearing lingerie and bunny ears including the birthday girl, Olivia Lake. Deputies responding to complaints from neighbors found two unconscious, intoxicated boys in the house, the station reported. The girl’s father, attorney Jeff Lake, was at the home when deputies arrived, according to San Diego County Sheriff’s officials. What kind of father not only approves of his daughter running around drunk, high, and nearly naked with a bunch of horny teenage boys…but fronts the money for the supplies and send out invites?!? Tuff gong would be proud… Bob Marley’s Family To Launch Marley-Brand Cannabis Line Via NYDN : The family of reggae icon Bob Marley and a Seattle-based private equity firm said Tuesday they were launching the first global cannabis brand with marijuana products sold under a name long tied to a plant he lovingly called “the herb.” The brand, dubbed Marley Natural, marks the first time the family’s name will adorn packages of cannabis products. They’ll range from strains similar to those Bob Marley might have smoked in his homeland, Jamaica, to concentrates, oils and infused lotions sold in countries and U.S. states that have taken steps to decriminalize and legalize pot use and sales. Marley, credited with helping to spread Jamaican music to a worldwide audience with hits like “No Woman, No Cry” and “I Shot the Sheriff,” died of cancer in 1981 at age 36. “He viewed the herb as something spiritual that could awaken our well-being, deepen our reflection, connect us to nature and liberate our creativity,” Cedella Marley, Bob’s daughter, said in a statement announcing the deal. The agreement came weeks after two states voted to legalize marijuana for recreational use. Retail shops selling such products already operate in Colorado and Washington state. The sale of cannabis remains illegal in much of the world, but countries mainly in Europe and the Americas have decrminalized it by varying degrees. The Netherlands permits the sale of marijuana in “coffee shops.” Israel, Canada and nearly half of U.S. states have allowed its medicinal use. And Uruguay has legalized its use. Blaze up, then!
