Jesus Take The Wheel: 13-Year-Old Boy Shoots His 6-Year-Old Sister While Playing Hide And Go Seek

Where were the parents? 6-Year-Old Shot By Brother According to NBC Miami Homicide detectives in Broward County, Florida are talking with a 13-year-old boy who they believe shot his 6-year-old sister. According to NBC Miami, the shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. in Oakland Park on Saturday night. “They were playing hide and go seek. I don’t know how it went down but he shot his sister,” neighbor Peter Milano explained. “They just carried her out in her hands and you can tell above her chest area she had a hole where she was shot,” neighbor Justin Latoutrrette told WSVN. Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Dani Moschella said that the two children were at home alone when the incident happened. “We just don’t know at this point if this was an accident or if it was intentional,” Moschella said. “It is very difficult when dealing with children, specifically children who’ve been through a very traumatic situation,” she pointed out. “This family will never be the same after tonight, no matter how it ends up.” Another neighbor told The Miami Herald that the “little boy just sat there rocking back and forth… It’s just so devastating. They had just moved in two weeks ago.” Under Florida law, the parents could be charged with a third-degree felony if police determine that the gun was “within the reach or easy access of a minor” and was used to cause injury or death. The 6-year-old girl was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Moschella reported that she was in critical but stable condition as of Sunday night. Something needs to be done about these parents who leave guns around for their kids to easily get and shoot somebody. We know we need gun control, but we need people control as well. Shutterstock

Caught Slippin’: Rapper Lil’ Reese Popped By One Time For Criminal Trespass While Sleeping In His Car

Lil’ Reese do better man. Rapper Lil Reese Arrested According to The Chicago Tribune South Side rapper Lil Reese was caught sleeping in a car early Sunday and arrested on a warrant. The arrest warrant was issued Friday in Champaign County for Lil Reese, 20, whose birth name is Tavares Taylor. He was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 4400 block of South Wells Street after a police officer on patrol saw him sleeping in a vehicle, according to Cook County court documents. Taylor has risen to prominence in recent years as a pillar of Chicago’s “drill” rap scene. He is part of local rap luminary Chief Keef’s Glory Boyz Entertainment clique and has a deal with Def Jam Recordings, a label whose clients include Rihanna and Ludacris. The arrest warrant issued Thursday is connected to charges of criminal trespass to a residence with persons present, mob action and battery that allegedly took place in February 2012, according to the Champaign County Circuit Clerk’s website and Cook County court documents. Officials at the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office would not give further information about the charges Sunday, saying they could not comment because Taylor is not in their custody. Taylor was being held in lieu of a $100,000 bail Sunday. He pleaded guilty to burglary charges in May 2010 and received two years of probation, according to Cook County court documents. He was stopped April 13 in the 6600 block of South Wentworth Avenue in Chicago and charged with driving without insurance, no driver’s license and not signaling, according to court documents. He sparked outrage in October after video footage purportedly of him beating a young woman went viral. The grainy video taken with a camera phone reportedly shows rapper Lil Reese attacking the unidentified woman. It was posted on various hip-hop websites and angered thousands on Twitter. The video, which lasts a little more than a minute, shows a man entering a residence and arguing with a young woman. The two then get into a physical altercation. Lil Reese acknowledged the video on his Twitter account before suggesting the incident occurred “years ago.” When your the type of n**** to always be in some mess, you got to be vigilante at all times. The po-pos stay watching. Cook County Sheriff’s Police

Stop The Violence: Man Fatally Shot In “Normally Quiet” Chicago Neighborhood

Ish is real in Chicago ! According to DNAInfoChicago A man died after being shot Monday morning in an area of Back of the Yards that neighbors described as quiet. The 22-year-old man was in the 1700 block of West 44th Street about 4:50 a.m. when he was shot, said officer Michael Sullivan, a Chicago Police spokesman. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Chicago Fire Department spokeswoman Meg Ahlheim said. He later died of his injuries, said a spokeswoman with the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. The morgue was not releasing the man’s identity pending notification his family. No one was in custody for the shooting, Sullivan said. Neighbors Gibron Lenero and Reyna Lenero said they woke up about 4:30 a.m. and heard arguing outside. Soon after, Reyna Lenero heard shots, she said. The couple, who moved to the area four months ago, said it’s a quiet residential street that’s well patrolled by police, and nothing like this has happened since they’ve been here. “It’s just families,” Gibron Lenero said. Reyna Lenero said she’s “a little bit” scared because the couple has two young daughters. “This was just a couple meters from our house,” Gibron Lenero said. Another local resident, Jose Gemenez, said he’s lived in different houses on the same street in this neighborhood for more than 30 years. He didn’t hear anything and was shocked when he saw cop cars and crime scene tape while getting his kids ready for school. “I’m kind of surprised because there’s a lot of police around here,” Gemenez said. “We don’t see the violence here usually.” He said the area was worse years ago, but things seemed to be getting better. “It’s not in this area, not on this side of the park,” Gemenez said. Jesus Take The Wheel: Abandoned Toddler Who Was Left On Stranger’s Doorstep With Note Reading “Call DFAC” Parents Arrested

Poor baby … Authorities in South Carolina have identified the toddler who was found abandoned on a stranger’s doorstep with a note on her diaper that read “Call DFAC” or Division of Family and Child Services, and arrested her parents. After four days of investigating, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that the child is 4-year-old Zoe Brown of Marietta, Ga. Brown’s parents — 31-year-old Alonzo Brown and 37-year-old Tongela Denise McBride — were arrested Friday night on charges of unlawful neglect of a child. Chad McBride, the public information office for the Anderson County Sherriff’s Office, said that having the girl’s story shared through social media and the news media helped lead to the discovery of the toddler’s identify and the arrest of her parents. According to Chad McBride, who is not related to Denise McBride, posts on the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page featuring Zoe Brown’s picture were shared more than 2 million times. “Just putting the story out there and all over the country, it was the media that led to the individuals that called us,” McBride said. “For a couple days we didn’t have anything.” Zoe Brown was found on a resident’s doorstep late Tuesday night in her stroller wearing a shirt adorned with the phrase “Auntie Loves Me.” Roy Campbell, the home’s owner, told the Independent Mail newspaper of Anderson that he found Zoe Brown after he heard the doorbell ring, but didn’t see anyone at the door. “I heard the neighbor’s dogs barking so I went around the back of the house to see if they might have gone there,” Campbell told the Independent Mail. “When I didn’t see anyone, I went back to the front door and noticed that there was a baby in the stroller.” After Campbell found the girl, the police were immediately called and she was taken to a local hospital where doctors determined she was in good health, authorities said. Although she is 4 years old, Zoe Brown wears clothes made for a 24-month-old and has scars on her chest and neck that are consistent with past heart surgery, McBride said. The girl is currently in a foster home under the care of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. McBride said she will remain there until the DSS can determine whether there is a family member who can provide her with a safe environment. We hope they find a home and a family who can love little Zoe unconditionally like she deserves. Clearly, her ain’t isht parents are not worthy.

Justin Bieber Accused of Battery, Involved in "Intense" Altercation

Justin Bieber returned last night for a brief rest from the international leg of his Believe tour. But it was anything but a happy homecoming. Sources confirm to TMZ that the singer has been accused of battery by his neighbor in Calabasas, California. Authorities are investigating the incident, but Bieber was allegedly involved in an “intense argument” with this unidentified man around 9 a.m. today. The altercation stemmed from the accuser walking on to Justin’s property and complaining that guests there had been throwing loud parties while the artist was abroad. L.A. County Sheriff’s spokesperson Steve Whitmore says the neighbor told deputies that Bieber got physical with him, a charge other sources deny. Those close to Bieber confirm he did get into it with the man, but only verbally, and that Justin eventually retreated to his house so security could lead the man away. This allegation follows another strange incident in the Recently Turbulent and Confusing Times of Justin Bieber: he went through airport security in Poland yesterday without a shirt on . And last month, of course, Bieber flipped the eff out on a cameraman in London. Expect a Tweet or two from Bieber later today regarding the situation and expect THG to provide updates as news breaks.

Shalamar allegedly had told Howard to stop the “rude and disgusting” behavior as she was about to eat dinner, according to an arrest affidavit from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. At that point, Shalamar told the deputy that Ronald got up from the couch and “started to get in her face,” yelling at her to “stop judging him,” the affidavit stated. The deputy determined the balls were in Shalamar’s court as Ronald didn’t have any visible injuries but Shalamar had a scratch on her leg which was consistent with her account the incident. Christopher Dorner Case: LAPD Alert Called Off, Officials Confident Manhunt is Over

The LAPD has moved back into a “normal state of police operation” after Tuesday’s Christopher Dorner gun battle, a signal that the manhunt is over. Cops won’t officially declare Christopher Dorner dead until the tests are run on the corpse believed to be inside what is left of a burned down California cabin. Still, every indication is that Dorner was inside when the cabin went up in smoke. A rep for the police department says the city is no longer on tactical alert. Dorner met his fate following a frightening shootout in which he exchanged fire with police and barricaded himself in a remote cabin in Big Bear, Calif. The former LAPD officer is accused of killing four people, including two police officers, one of whom died yesterday during the gun battle with Dorner. Authorities are working to examine the remnants of the cabin and ID any remains before putting out an official report confirming the death of Dorner. The manhunt for the 33-year-old spanned a week and much of Southern California before apparently ending in Big Bear yesterday afternoon. Early Tuesday, two cleaning ladies at a condominium in Big Bear discovered a man they say looked like Dorner, who was rumored to be hiding there. He took them hostage, tied them up and tried to escape, stealing a pair of vehicles along the way. Now law enforcement officials are confident they got their man. Acting on reports of a carjacking, law enforcement officials quickly tracked the man accused of targeting police officers and their families in February. “The suspect that stole the vehicle matched the description. He crashed the car and then took off,” San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said. As he barricaded himself in an empty cabin, the man believed to be Dorner fired a .50-caliber sniper rifle, shooting two deputies, killing one of them. Dorner tried to escape by throwing a smoke grenade at officers. Police also deployed smoke grenades as a screen so the wounded could be evacuated. The resort town of Big Bear had been the focus of the manhunt since last Thursday, when a burned-out truck belonging to Dorner was found in the area. Weapons, survival gear and a gas mask were also found. As media and SWAT teams descended on the town, police say Dorner hid in plain sight in an unoccupied condo across the road from their command post.
