Why Small Moments In Your Life Can Mean The Most

See the article here:

When I’m thinking about what to write, I often find myself thinking of the small moments in life that tend to make me smile and reflect on the most. I tend to get my best musings when I least expect it, such as during my daily coffee run or while maneuvering down a busy walkway on my way to work. To put the reader in my shoes, you might be waiting in line at your local coffee shop and suddenly feel the hustle and bustle of the morning seemingly slow down as the cashier makes a mistake with the register. That moment of the day might make you stop for a second and begin to realize that the urgency of your surroundings could be internalized stress rather than the actual reality. On a completely different topic, perhaps you’re checking your phone and find yourself smiling from ear to ear due to an unexpected text message. While you feel your day brighten, the other person might not even realize that what they said left you beaming. It’s usually these situations that tend to have the most impact on every day life, despite the fact that they might be quite small in the scheme of events. It truly is the meaning you add to these events that gives them their authenticity and reverence. 5 Ways To Find Inspiration From Within Observing the people around you and enjoying life moment by moment is definitely the better way to be, as you gain perspective from positioning yourself as a moment-maker in the scheme of a big world. Time isn’t infinite and shouldn’t be wasted by letting larger events obscure your view of the smaller, more intimate moments in life. Even just initiating lunch with someone new at work or calling up an old friend can be small gestures that add happiness and fulfillment to your life. If you think of each moment as a movie trailer, the big picture is the product you are generating through the choices you make. By making sure each snippet of your life counts, you have to be present and willing to put yourself out there. This means being aware of the good points of every day and keeping your glass half full, even when you feel like it is empty! Don’t let opportunities pass you by, as taking risks, within reason, is an important part of living your life to its fullest potential. Take pride in each moment, as every second has the ability to change your life! Optimism is a bit part of this, so keep your head facing the future and your eyes open to the details! Amy Winehouse Falls Over, Forgets Words, And Mumbles Her First Performance Out Of Rehab [Video]

Despite several reports of Amy Winehouse cleaning up her act and performing a near flawless set in London’s Club 100 a few days ago , it seems like she has left way to early out of rehab. At the start of her European tour in Belgrade’s Kalemegdan Park, Amy appeared on stage opening with “Just Friends,” and showed the same Amy we’ve seen for awhile. Attempting to take off her shoes she immediately falls over, gets back up stumbles around, and finally mumbles some words to the song and attempts to shoutout her band members where she forgets most of their names. Wiz Khalifa Treated Like Thief At Barneys

Read the original post:

Wiz Khalifa was treated like a thief after purchasing over $16,000 in shoes for girlfriend Amber Rose at a Barney’s in Beverly Hills. A store clerk who observed the biased service said “After his spending spree on the shoes, Wiz went up to the ultra expensive men’s department floor, but instead of rolling out the red carpet for him they refused to help the poor guy! Not only did they fail to recognize him they actually thought that that he was a thief and treated him like one! It was only when somebody pointed out to them who the guy actually was that they back-tracked somewhat.” Spotted @ Necole Bitchie.com FACT OF THE DAY: Wiz Khalifa Was Born A Military Brat Amber Rose Gives Wiz Khalifa The Watch Kanye West Gave Her Flo Rida Busted For DUI In $1.7 Million Bugatti BLACK MUSIC MOMENT #55: Master P’s No Limit Records Founded FACT OF THE DAY: Wiz Khalifa Was Born A Military Brat

Eva Marcille (Pigford to the rest of you) was snapped modeling some $6000 Christian Louboutin Crystal Daffodil heels–and very little else. Beyonce sported them at a basketball game sitting court side with with Hov. The rest of us who don’t really care about shoes will just keep admiring Eva’s…um…body of work. Lady Gaga Feels She’s Been ‘Probed Endlessly’ About Who She Is

‘Judas’ singer goes on curse-filled rant in new issue of NME. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage Lady Gaga is on the defense these days. Fans aren’t sure how they feel about her Born This Way cover art , and in the new issue of British music magazine NME , the singer felt the need to let the world know that she’s not some gimmick and her shtick is the real deal, protruding face bones and all. “Let me tell you something. If you f—ing rip my hairbow and my wig off my f—ing head, my shoes, my bra, every single thing on my body, and you throw me on a piano with a microphone, I will f—ing make you cry,” she proclaims in the magazine, which hits newsstands on Tuesday (April 19). On the cover , Gaga appears in a see-through body suit, with zippers over her lady parts, wearing heavy eye makeup, her now signature “BTW” prosthetics and a wig she wore in the “BTW” video. “I feel I have been probed endlessly about who the f— I am,” she continues. “I have been quite open about it. And still nobody seems to have a clue.” Gaga recently unveiled her second single, ” Judas ,” off her May 23 album release. Parts of the song may pay homage to some of her past hits, but it is certainly not the type of pop song that Katy Perry or Britney Spears would record. “I’m not going to start churning out what you expect,” she said. “If you want me to be a manufactured act, you can f— off.” The star also defended her prosthetics recently in Harper’s Bazaar . “Well, first of all, they’re not prosthetics. They’re my bones,” she said in the issue. “They’ve always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am. They come out when I’m inspired.” She mirrored that sentiment on her Twitter page on Tuesday, writing, ” Born This Way is who I am. An artist in a constant state of half-fantasy/half-reality at all times.” Related Photos The Evolution Of: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga
