According to US Weekly: Miley Cyrus’ bad month just keeps getting worse. The “Wrecking Ball” singer, 21, was hospitalized on Tuesday, April 15, because of a severe allergic reaction to some antibiotics she was taking, a press release stated. The release — from Kansas City’s Sprint Center, where Cyrus was supposed to perform her Bangerz tour show on Tuesday night — said that the pop star had been “placed on medical rest by her doctors” and would not be able to go on as scheduled. Cyrus herself tweeted a message to fans from her hospital bed, apologizing for the canceled concert. “Kansas I promise I’m as heartbroken as you are. I wanted to badly 2 b there 2night,” she wrote. “Not being with yall makes me feel s—tier than I already do.” A follow-up tweet included a photo of the singer in a hospital gown, with a toy octopus partially covering her face. “Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me,” she wrote alongside the pic. Cyrus has been under the weather for a few days now. Jordan – and the topic turned to some personal issues for the hunk. Savannah Guthrie decided to jump right into questions about Efron’s recent history, asking him about reports that he checked into rehab last year . “I know last year was a little bit hard. There were reports that you’d gone to rehab . Anything you want to share about that? I think mostly your fans just want to know how you’re doing and that you’re OK,” Savannah inquired. Rush Limbaugh Compares Boston Marathon Bomber To Trayvon Martin Babbling bigot and right-wing enthusiast Rush Limbaugh is back on his best bullish in the wake of last week’s Boston Marathon bombing that rocked the nation . In true idiot fashion, Limbaugh took to his nationally syndicated radio show to voice his douche-bag opinion that the media coverage of the bombing suspect mirrors that of the media portrayal of slain teenager Trayvon Martin. via Think Progress Conservative radio prognosticator Rush Limbaugh used his nationally syndicated show on Tuesday to try and tie Dzhakar Tsarnaev, the captured suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings last week, to murdered teenager Trayvon Martin. Last March, weeks after 17-year-old Martin was shot and killed, Limbaugh and the rest of the conservative echo chamber spent a considerable amount of time attacking Martin’s character and pushing back against a widely circulated photograph of the teen, claiming that the media was trying to gin up sympathy for the murdered boy. On Tuesday, Limbaugh compared the media’s portrayal of Trayvon to the treatment of the captured Tsarnaev, citing the media’s use of slightly outdated photographs in both instances: He said that showing images of Tsarnaev at 14-years-old is an effort to humanize him and frame him as a “normal” or “mixed-up kid,” rather than an accused murder[er] and terrorist. ‘The news media are doing to Dzhokhar what they did to Trayvon Martin,” Limbaugh observed. “They’re regularly showing a photo of Dzhokhar that was taken when he was about 14. Soft, angelic, nice little boy. Harmless. Cute. Big, loveable eyes.” “Not at all what he looks like today,” Limbaugh added. “The way, when we’re shown Osama bin Laden, it’s in his shepherd pose with his walking stick, walking through the mountains or whatever.” It’s so interesting how this guy is so quick to point out alleged “similarities” between minorities who are accused of violence but makes no mention of similar media portrayal when the suspects in question are white (see: Sandy Hook gunman Adam Lanza , Batman Massacre gunman James Holmes,etc.) And by “so interesting,” we mean blatantly racist. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe Photo: MTV News Daniel Radcliffe made the jump to Broadway star shortly after ending his run as the world’s most famous boy wizard, but on Saturday, he’s taking an even bigger step: He’s hosting “Saturday Night Live.” Radcliffe knew that’s not something you do without some careful consideration, and he told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz that he had to give it some thought before agreeing to host. “I had to think about it a little bit, because it’s the real deal. You live or die on that show,” he said. “Ultimately, it was a no-brainer because I was working with John Larroquette [in ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’] at the time as well. He hosted a bunch of times when he was younger.” Not that it took a lot of convincing. Radcliffe also just really wanted to work with the castmembers he admires. “I love Seth Meyers . Bill Hader , I think, is just unbelievable. That Alan Alda impression, just mind-blowing,” he said. Part of what is so enticing to Radcliffe about hosting is the immense challenge of it. “It will be the kind of stuff I like, that kind of guerrilla style of getting stuff done when you just have to get it done,” he said. “Nothing else matters. You have to do it. You have to achieve.
