Amanda Bynes Quit Smoking Weed, Claims She’s Not Schizophrenic

Rumors about Amanda Bynes’ mental health have been circulating for over a year now, with some speculating that the former teen star may be suffering from schizophrenia. But even though she’s still not speaking to the press, Amanda attempted to put those rumors to rest today. Through her lawyer, Tamar Arminak, Amanda issued a statement to People magazine, assuring fans that she “does not have schizophrenia, nor has she ever been diagnosed with it.” “There has been much speculation about Amanda’s medical condition,” the attorney says. “She has remained silent because she believed it was best to keep her mental health diagnosis private.” Arminak adds that Amanda “never had a history of abusing alcohol or hard drugs, and she’s proud to say she’s been marijuana-free for the past nine months.” So maybe all that time she was just paranoid? The recovering Amanda Bynes recently returned to Twitter, and she’s quickly making up for lost time in reconnecting with her fans. In a good way this time. On Monday, she posted self-portrait she sketched herself. “New sketch,” Bynes, 27, wrote. Check out her artwork! The star, who’s taking classes at FIDM in Orange County, drew a black and white pencil drawing that emphasized her big eyes, pouty lips, and long locks. She also appeared naked in the portrait … standard Bynes. She also pointed out how she only has one verified account. “FYI This is my only twitter account, I have no secret twitter accounts. Xoxo Amanda.” Bynes tweeted for the first time in months on February 28 following her stint in rehab, and deleted her previous, infamously erratic and bizarre tweets. “Hi everyone!” she wrote after a long hiatus due to mental health treatment. “I’m busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda.” She has also changed her Twitter profile info to “Fashion Student” and uploaded a selfie for her default pic wearing minimal makeup and a grey sweatshirt. Her attorney, Tamar Arminak, said in a statement that attending college and majoring in fashion design was the next step the star intended to make. “Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery,” Arminak said. Bynes, who is currently under the conservatorship of her parents, “has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.” She is said to be mortified by her Drake vagina comment and her antics from the past couple of years, which is perhaps the best sign of all that she’s back. Amanda realizes that’s not the Amanda she wants to be, and while it certainly made for good gossip, we couldn’t be happier that she is on the mend.

Daft Punk Without Helmets: Watch the Revealing Video!

Look ma, no helmets! Daft Punk picked up their bags at the airport and alas, they were snapped without their signature headgear.  The musical duo, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, usually wear bulky space-age helmets while in public, but the new photos reveal they are, in fact, not robots after all … Daft Punk Without Helmets The French electronic music group has been churning out music since the early ’90s and have covered their faces since early performances.  Homem-Cristo told Rolling Stone of the costume choice, “We’re not performers, we’re not models. It would not be enjoyable for humanity to see our features, but the robots are exciting to people.” Daft Punk rocked the Grammys , where they performed live and picked up the coveted award of Album of the Year for Random Access Memories. Kim and Kanye love the fans. Kim And Kanye Surprise Pizza Staff Fawk Kim and Kanye surprising folks at work. They need to break off some of that Kardashian gwap. According to People: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gave the staff at a Chicago pizza restaurant a special holiday treat with all the toppings Thursday. A day after West’s second sold-out show in Chicago, the couple were spotted out and about in the Windy City. Wanting to show his fiancée a favorite taste of his hometown – Chicago-style pizza – West took her to Giordano’s packed flagship location at 730 N. Rush St., much to the surprise of the diners and staff inside. Both dressed all in black, they ordered a small “Giordano’s Stuffed Special” (sausage, mushroom, peppers and onions) with a Greek salad and told the host they would do some holiday shopping and be back in 45 minutes to enjoy the signature pie. When they returned, they enjoyed the meal and then offered to pose for photos with the staff. But Kardashian, 33, got a phone call and slipped outside – leaving West, 36, to take the photos solo. They soon drove off. But much to her surprise, the Giordano’s hostess saw Kardashian back in the restaurant 10 minutes later. Realizing she had spaced out when she was on her call, she had asked the driver to turn around so she could apologize and take the photo after all. Returning the holiday spirit, Giordano’s offered to keep the new parents stocked up on Chicago-style pizza until their next visit back to the Windy City. Looks like the only thing missing was beautiful baby Nori and her eyebrows. WENN

Schoolboy Q Says He Wants White People To Say The N-Word At His Shows Via AllHipHop reports: ESPN’s Skip Bayless and the NAACP have tried to kill the N-word but Schoolboy Q has a different approach to handling the N-Word: Let everyone say it at his show. During an interview on The Pete Holmes Show, Schoolboy Q spoke about his feelings on white people reciting his N-word laden lyrics at his shows. According to Q, a large number of White people attend his shows and he revealed his signature way of breaking the ice: I usually stop, because all of the white people be scared to say it. I’ll make them say the hook over and everybody says it. They think I’m some super down to Earth dude when really is I just want you to say it. [Laughs] Yeah, just say it. It’s 2013. I don’t care. Q also reveals an interesting way how marijuana not only saved his life but helped his parenting skills: I was a little too antsy. I’d jump around. Want to go here, want to be there. Once I started smoking weed I just wanted to stay and play the video game and rap. You know what I’m saying? You spend good time with your daughter after you go smoke, go chill with your daughter, you willing to do whatever she willing to do. Do you think Q is right?
