We’d be taken aback by this statement, but it’s Ke$ha. She says she once slept with a ghost . And we assume not merely with her eyeballs because, come on, people. Ghosts don’t have eyeballs.

It was totally on last week between Devin Velez and Nicki Minaj. First, the American Idol judge blasted Devin for his group performance on Wednesday. Then, she and her fellow panelists did not save Velez when he was voted off a night later. Finally, over the weekend, Minaj slammed the singer for whining about his elimination. So… how does Devin feel about the judge now? “I think she’s Nicki Minaj and she goes as far as she’s wanting to go,” Velez said this morning on Today . “I still love her.” But what about her biting critique just a few days ago? “The way my mother raised me is that when people are talking about you, it’s not really about you and you shouldn’t take offense,” Velez said. “So when she was saying, like, ‘You forgot your lyrics and you were off-pitch,’ with all due respect, I wasn’t off pitch, nor did I forget my lyrics.” The aspiring star concluded that he has no regrets and did he “best” on the show. According to authorities, Justin Bieber will likely face criminal battery charges for his argument with an angry neighbor earlier this week. As previously reported, the singer was confronted by Jeff Schwartz – a 47-year old father of three – and berated for driving recklessly around the neighborhood. Both Schwartz, his wife and a third witness claim Bieber spit on his antagonist during the disagreement and had to be restrained by his bodyguard from going after him. Los Angeles County Investigators have looked into the incident and will refer the case to the District Attorney , law enforcement insiders confirm to TMZ. The main reason for prosecution? Officials believe Bieber’s history of disregard for the law – in terms of his driving record and pot smoking – show a pattern of troublesome behavior. They have seen many similar cases in the past of such small law-breaking leading into far more serious conduct down the line. Regardless of there this case goes legally, those within the Sheriff’s Department believe Justin need professional help.

The interview with Justin was conducted prior to his latest scandal: a contentious argument with a neighbor that has resulted in a battery charge and allegations that Bieber drives WAY too fast . But Bieber courted plenty of controversy in the weeks leading up to this brush with the law, such as when he was photographed shirtless on the street in London (“I still had part of my tour wardrobe on and was rushing into my hotel,” he says). And then he was caught in a gas mask while shopping. (“I wanted to hide my face from all the cameras,” he explains. “They got it as a joke. My friends and I like messing around.”) And of course he collapsed onn stage in England. (“I passed out from the flu. The worst thing to me is disappointing my fans – we only had five songs left – so they gave me oxygen, and I decided to finish the show and then go to the hospital. The show must go on.”) Overall, though, JB wants everyone to know that his heart is in the right place: “I’m young and I make mistakes. That’s part of growing up… I’m young and I want to have fun. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.

The surf might be up for Taylor Swift. According to Life & Style sources, the singer is “falling fast” for John John Lawrence, a native of Hawaii and a professional surfer. Swift, who has embarked on her Red tour and has not been linked to a love interest in weeks, went out of her way to contact Florence, the tabloid alleges, and the two have been “text-messaging” for a couple weeks. Just how serious is the relationship? Not very, the source says: “I don’t think they’ve hung out yet. They’ve just been chatting.” Expect that to change soon, however, Taylor is afraid of ending up alone in a bathtub and is unafraid to admit she is looking for love.
Keyshia Cole has some unexpected, anti-Beyonce company. Rush Limbaugh is going off on the star and her controversial single “Bow Down / I Been On.” The conservative talk-radio host ripped Jay-Z’s wife for what he deemed a “180” in the image department and abandoning her feminist credibility. I’ll tell you why. Because she married a rich guy. She’s even calling herself Mrs. Carter on the tour… She has shelved Beyonce.” “She now understands it’s worth it to bow down.” Limbaugh also cited an editorial in U.K.’s The Telegraph by a woman angered by B’s allegedly new direction away from the “Independent Women” champion. Rush, of course, may not have listened to the song that closely and may be taking her lyrics partially (if not entirely) out of context … big shocker. Beyonce – “Bow Down/I Been On” A more likely interpretation of ” Bow Down “‘ is it’s a tough message aimed at any upstart singers hoping to challenge her place on the pop throne. In fact, when the singer does mention Jay-Z, she does so in the following way: “I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife.” Moreover, naming her tour The Mrs. Carter Show was more a playful nod to her role as Hov’s other half than a real command for women to be subservient. Rush isn’t the only one to react in such fashion, however. R&B star Keyshia Cole, as we previously reported, also slammed the new track from Knowles. “First ‘Women need to Stick together’ now bitches better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G!
