Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright went looking for love on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, respectively, only to find it years later with each other. The couple got married Saturday! Peyton and Chris, who got engaged last year, tied the knot at Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston, S.C. The bride wore a gown by Melissa Sweet. Their I-dos provide a happy ending for a courtship that started when a mutual Bachelor friend introduced the pair, who came up short on reality TV. Not that the show didn’t provide them other opportunities – in love and work. The landscaper from Massachusetts and his Dallas-born bride will star in Going Yard , premiering May 12 on HGTV. Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright be traveling the U.S. designing and decorating outdoor living spaces. Among Lambton’s fellow Bachelorette alums invited to the nuptials were Craig Robinson, Tyler Vermette and even Roberto Martinez, whom Ali Fedotowsky got engaged to on the finale of her season, spurning Chris. Let bygones be bygones, right? Congratulations, Chris and Peyton! Amanda Bynes was involved in another hit and run in Hollywood this weekend, but at least she apparently hit some random guy and not a cop. A man claims he was sideswiped by a Range Rover trying to pass him on the right in L.A., and when the SUV didn’t stop, he called the police. He also began to follow the SUV himself, and when he finally caught up to the Range Rover, sources say the driver was none other than Bynes. The star told police she had no idea she had struck another vehicle, which is plausible, as police say damage to her car was quite minimal. Law enforcement sources tell us Amanda was very cooperative with police and that they had her exchange information with the other driver. She was not given a citation for the incident and cops will not be investigating the case any further … beyond the usual insurance rigamarole. Bynes was arrested for DUI last month after she clipped a police car, and has basically continued crashing and partying in the 2-3 weeks since. [Photo: WENN.com]
Tameka Foster denies threatening to kill ex-husband Usher … but she did make several comments that she can understand being taken that way. Usher and Tameka are in a legal fight over custody of their two young kids, a bitter showdown that played out in a Georgia courtroom this week. Accused of making death threats toward her ex, Foster did admit under oath to saying “I will f**k you up” … which one can interpret as a threat. Tameka was questioned by Usher’s attorney about her verbal and abusive threats towards the singer, whom she wed in 2007 and divorced in 2009. She allegedly said “I will kill you both,” referring to Usher and his current GF. Foster went back and forth with her answer before making a half-admission, saying she didn’t threaten to “kill” him … but admitting, “I probably have said, out of anger, say ‘I will f**k you up’ and that is not acceptable.” Tameka Foster went on to explain that the menacing statement(s) happened as a result of Usher gallivanting in and out of town with his new girlfriend, behavior that was “embarrassing” for her in such a tight knit community. Singer says the finished film is of a ‘completely different magnitude’ than what she expected. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Rihanna Photo: MTV News Given the colorful theatrics Rihanna employs in her stage performances, music videos and personal style, it’s difficult to believe that her first-ever movie role is in this summer’s “Battleship” . The Caribbean-born singer admitted that filling her in the Peter Berg-directed film made her nervous in the beginning. “I had trepidation. It was my first film, and I was coming into an environment full of professionals so I had to keep up,” Rihanna said during our “MTV First: Battleship.” “There were also real [military] vets on set, [who were] a part of the film, so you’re definitely [minding] your P’s and Q’s at all times, you don’t want to do anything that was disappointing to their customs.” Being back on the USS Missouri (where they filmed scenes for the movie) for “First” reminded the singer of the nervous energy she had on set. “The butterflies, that nervous feeling I have being here again,” she said. “You’re not comfortable, you have to be alert all the time.” So the big question: What did the singer/actress think when she saw the finished film and her performance for the first time? “I was extremely blown away,” she said. “I hadn’t expected anything like that, because you have to create it in your mind, everyone had their own idea of what it would look like and seeing it back, it was a completely different magnitude. Following ‘Climax,’ singer tells MTV News his latest single ‘represents the other side’ of Looking for Myself album. By Jocelyn Vena Usher Photo: MTV News Bumping beats, sexy lyrics and Usher ‘s signature R&B bad-boy swagger can only mean one thing: the singer has once again hooked up with superstar pop producer Max Martin. Their latest collaboration, “Scream,” picks up where “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” left off back in 2010. Usher used that track to convince us to go home with him after a dizzying night of partying, and for “Scream,” he’s got us back at his pad and he’s rocking our world, one fist-pumping moment at a time. While he opted to slow it down on “Climax,” Usher is back to large-scale dance tracks on Looking for Myself ‘s second single. And, he told MTV News, both tracks reflect the sound of the album. “This album has many different views and many different perspectives,” he told MTV News while rehearsing for his one-night run as the lead in NYC’s off-Broadway spectacle “Fuerza Bruta,” which also served as a place for Usher to debut the album ahead of its release. “And me and Max Martin, we’ve had success together in the past, and this was a record I felt represented the other side of the [album].” “Scream” and “Climax” truly are polar-opposite tracks. Where “Climax” sears and broods, “Scream” celebrates and dances. Usher is excited for the chance to show all those sides with the two lead singles from the June 12 release. “Whereas the first song was a little bit more artistic and a little bit more soulful, and it has done everything, it probably exceeded my expectations, I mean, from the moment I was able to give it away. I was able to kind of be reintroduced in a way musically, and thank you to [producer] Diplo, but ‘Scream’ is really like the next step. It’s just in time for summer and the type of experience that I want people to get out of the album.” But the Atlanta-bred singer notes that the album can’t be defined just by “Climax” or “Scream.” There’s a lot there to keep fans tuning in. “It’s a ton of other experiences and a ton of other walks … as I’ve had this long journey over the last year [and] every bit of what I’ve experienced I’ve put into a creative, artistic way,” he said. As for the video, well, that still has to be shot, but he joked that “Fuerza Bruta” might serve as the perfect backdrop for the clip — or maybe not. “We might be shooting it while we’re here,” he laughed. “This is like a movie set, damn near — sh– you don’t normally see with the launch of an album. According to the Sun out of the U.K., the floppy-haired boy bander is crushing on three ladies even older than 22-year-old Swift: The 18-year-old shared that, if given the chance, he would date Angelina Jolie (36), Kate Moss (38) or Kate Winslet (36). Any of those three wouldn’t be his first older woman: He previously dated 32-year-old TV presenter Caroline Flack. For any girl out there who is not one of those three superstars and is looking for a way to catch the singer’s attention, Styles candidly revealed what he likes his ladies to wear. “I like my girlfriends to wear black lingerie … definitely,” he shared. But, the romance talk didn’t end there. He noted that if he sees a lady he thinks is pretty, well, he doesn’t exactly have any smooth lines he likes to use on her. “I’m not really a pick-up-line guy. I don’t know what I do,” he confessed. Harry has been linked to quite a few ladies since 1D dropped their debut album, Up All Night, last month — none of which have been Winslet, Jolie or Moss. However, his list of rumored ladies does include American singer Lily Halpern, New York-based photographer Sarah-Louise Colivet, Victoria’s Secret model Emma Ostilly and former “Bachelorette” Jillian Harris. With some time off before the guys kick off their U.S. tour next month, Styles is opening up about his favorite places and how he’s looking forward to the downtime. “I’m so tired. It was pretty intense, but a lot of fun. I have six weeks to chill out now,” he told BBC Radio 1 . “My favorite places were New York and Sydney.
